“Rachel watched Shadow for a second time recently. We had to unexpectedly move up our reservation and ended up extending on the other end as well and she was happy and willing to make the adjustment last minute. We love that someone is home all day with Shadow (what he’s used to at our home) and Shadow gets along great with Dax. He comes home with a hangover from the fun he’s had! And is always a better listener to commands when he comes home as well. They also send great photos, Shadow always seems to be smiling or passed out from play and they are very responsive to questions. We will continue to use them in the future.”

I went to her house to visit prior to leaving my dog with her, and she and her husband were very welcoming opening their home to me to show me where my doggy would be housed for the extended period of time. That made me feel very comfortable leaving her there under their care in that as most of you know, our doggies are like our children and that’s most definitely the way we feel about our dog. About: New to rover, but not new to sitting! I’ve cared for animals my whole life, including many years with my own cat through every stage, into her senior years. We've helped care for dogs for friends and family, focusing on fun and comfort, and are hoping to care for others! Though not current pet owners ourselves, we enjoy having animals in the home and aim to provide a safe and loving environment for every fur-baby we care for. Being home throughout most days of the week allows pet care to fit very naturally into our daily routine. Pets receive regular potty breaks, consistent feeding, playtime, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. We have a family home environment, therefore we only accept pets who are comfortable around children. A structured routine works especially well for pets who thrive on consistency, and we only take one pet at a time which allows for focused attention and care. In our home, your fur-baby will be cared for in a structured, family oriented setting where they can feel safe and settled. We aim to follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. A large fenced yard provides plenty of space for supervised roaming, play, and outdoor time throughout the day. For safety, we ask that pets be up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick prevention before boarding or daycare stays. For drop in visits, the focus is on helping pets stay relaxed and cared for in their own familiar space. Each visit includes attention, fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks or playtime, and close attention to behavior and overall well being.

About: I have cared for many dogs throughout childhood into adulthood. I decided to start offering my services as our golden retriever passed away almost a year ago. This reminded me of how much joy and comfort dogs bring into our lives and how important it is to make sure they feel that same love and care in return! I work M-F 8am to 5pm but my Friday night, Saturday and Sundays are open to dog sitting! I love going on neighborhood walks and hikes and would love for your dog to join me. I have a fenced in back yard and do not have any other pets, so your pup can run around and sniff in the yard as much as they want.
