“Koula did a great job! It was so nice to come home after a stressful trip to have our cats well cared for and happy! She did everything asked and I will definitely be using her again for future visits.”
“First time using Rover and working with Steffanie. Excellent communication and care for my two pups. It was such a relief having Steffanie work with my dogs, especially with the in-person consultation and with meeting my pups prior to my trip. Thank you so much!”

About: I have provided professional pet-care in & out of my own home for over seven years. I am dedicated to treating your pets and your home as if it is my own. I am devoted to ensuring my schedule is built around the care of your animal. I currently work for myself, making flexibility easy for me. Quality service is my number one priority. My focus as a provider is keeping your pet as comfortable as possible, by giving them individualized attention and specialized care.
About: I have always had such a profound love for dogs: growing up, we had 4 large Weimaraners who were energetic, loving, and most definitely required a lot of walks and baths. I've been a regular volunteer at a local animal shelter for a few years and have extensive experience in caring for pets, as I've cared for our own dog at home, a sweet 12 year old who still acts like she's a 3 year old puppy. I am currently a medical student at USC SOMG. I would love to get to know and to walk and take care of your pet! :) I am available for walks on weekdays after 6:30 pm and am free all day on the weekends. I am also available per request--I have a flexible schedule and I am more than willing to work with specific day/time requests! I would love to be able to care for your pets at your home--I want to foster an environment where they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for! I will do all tasks related to bathing, feeding, walking, playing with them, etc. To me, pets are truly family, and I understand and know how important they and their needs are.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for our family dog, geese and ducks! Lately, i've committed myself to helping dogs and cats feel loved, safe and secure while their pet parents are away. I worked at a local veterinary clinic in their boarding department caring for overnight and long term clients. I previously worked at a local animal shelter for a year, where I learned the true responsibility of taking care of animals. Senior animals have such a special place in my heart! Animal happiness and safety is a main priority of mine. I am looking to take care of your animals part time and as needed! I have plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs and cats! I have 3 dogs currently, a shepherd mix, husky mix and a mini pin doberman alongside 2 cats! We have a large fenced in yard which allows us to let our dogs get their energy out and enjoy some time alone outside, while we continue to keep a close eye on them. The dogs are never out of my sight, I know how mischievous they tend to be.
“This was our first time using Rover and we could not have chosen a better sitter for our 2 "boys", than Katrina. She was extremely punctual in the daily visits and our boys loved her. We appreciated the daily updates and pics that showed our fur babies enjoying her company. It is obvious that she is an animal lover and we enjoyed meeting her for a pre-visit, which put our minds at ease about leaving them for the week. I would highly recommend her services and have no hesitations about using her services in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of our babies!”

About: I am ALSO that dog guardian that feels like they can never trust anyone with my dog. My dogs are my whole world and it makes going out of town or long work days stressful instead of enjoyable. I have been an animal lover my entire life! What started with a family dog has turned into me owning 3 of my own dogs. I have participated in various dog sports- barn hunt, agility, and rally to name a few. I’ve worked extensively with dog trainers and although I am not a professional, I am well versed in positive reinforcement and force free training. I am confident caring for/walking dog’s that deal with reactivity or aggression issues. I’ve had to work through reactivity issues with my own dogs and I am a better dog person because of it. I am extremely detail oriented and I understand the importance of following your schedule, training, and reinforcing the behaviors you are looking for in your dog. If you are training loose leash walking, working through reactivity, avoiding walking near other dogs/people, I will completely respect that and help you. I am comfortable and confident using whichever (or none) of the training tools you use. I have a fully fenced yard and pet friendly home. I can only accept crate trained dogs for overnight stays. I have cats but I have the space to keep them separate. I work mostly from home with errands not lasting longer than 2 hours. I do not allow dogs together unsupervised. Any play or interaction will ALWAYS be supervised, as well as any outside time.
“Second time with Amy and of course -- she was the absolute best! Even organized all the groceries that came in while we were gone, labeling all the veggies to make it easier for us to feed and take care of our reptiles when we returned. It's safe to say, whenever we go out of town, Amy is the one we call!”

About: I worked with dogs literally my whole life. I've grown up with no less then 3 dogs in the home. Dogs and all other animals are family. I believe in tender love and care is how to treat any kinda animal. I'm fairly active on rover. Dogs help me with dealing with this issues I've felt with since I was a teenager. I'm willing to take orders from the owners for their dogs. I don't mind cleaning up after a dog. I'm willing to give the dogs a bath if needed. I don't mind feeding. I'm hoping to one day become a vet tech as I love to help every animal I can. Furbabys are the best. I work pnr atm so im trying my best to cover costs of my living wage and what better way then to do what I truly love to do and that's taking care of animals. What ever is needed of me there is no such thing as a weird request when it comes to your fur babies . I'd be more then happy to make ur fur baby feel safe as much as possible, walks, play time, dog parks whatever is needed to make sure ur fubaby feels at home.
“Tammy went above and beyond taking care of my kitty Mica! I was gone for about two weeks, and she even helped with a few things around the house. She is very timely and good at communicating, and she will shower your pet with love!”

“Nat and Max were able to do a couple of drop in visits for our 4 month old golden, Rosie, when our usual sitter was unavailable. They were flexible with coming over for a meet and greet, were prompt during drop ins, and sent pictures to show our girl having a great time. Will definitely book them again!”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for many types of animals including dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. Now, I care for my own dog and pet sit for family and friends. I work from home, with a flexible work schedule. This allows me to be available most days and times during the week to care for your pets. I will give your pet the care and love that I give my own dog. I will provide safe, fun and loving care for your pets.
“Talen had a great connection with my fur babies. One is timid and usually it takes a few days for a sitter to be able to touch her but she came around a little faster with Talen.”

About: We’ve always owned and loved dogs and animals of all shapes & sizes- ours are a part of our family and we will treat yours the same way. Our children will play & pet your pup and help me make sure they get lots of exercise while visiting on our 5 acre hobby farm. We are located in Greenville & are very conveniently located for drop off & pick up. I work very part-time from home as a writer. I choose my hours, and my children are also home five days a week. My husband has an office on our property, so someone is always around for company for the dogs. We have a few grassy fields for running around and playing fetch and a friendly Labrador to join the fun. We also have three barn stalls on the property right across from our house if they prefer to sleep outside, or I can also crate them or put out a dog pillow if they would rather sleep inside with us.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
