“Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. About: I've had a pet of some sort my entire life whether it was dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, hamsters or snakes! I love caring for animals of any kind. I currently have 3 fur babies, 2 dogs and a cat, and 9 featherrd ones, chickens! Sharing my love for pets by helping out while folks are away doesn't feel like a job to me but more of a fun opportunity to do something I love. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I can take breaks for drop-ins and walks when it's convenient and if your fur baby is at my home I have a fenced back yard they can roam in anytime of day. I have a fenced space in the back yard with plenty of room for fetch and two friendly pooches to keep yours company! My husband and I work opposite shifts so someone is always home to give the fur babies love!

About: I care for animals of all ages. I'm here to give your furry loved one all the attention and cuddles they deserve! My goal is to help pets have so much fun that they don't have time to miss you! I currently work full time but I am free after 2pm for walks and drop-ins. I'm an early riser so I'm available for house sitting all week and super early morning drop-ins. I follow the client's instructions exactly. If I have questions I don't hesitate to ask because it's better to be safe than sorry. Pets can be very particular sometime and I want this to be an awesome experience for everyone!!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, I am a pro belly rubber. I feel a connection with animals and I truly love taking care of them. I've taken care of friends' pets and even my former work manager's. I also volunteered at an Animal Shelter and i enjoyed spending time with them… playing, walking, and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and and feel loved. I’m responsible and patient because I emphatize with animals and i know our pets are important to our family. I’m graduating as a massage therapist at the end of June, 2026 so I’ll have a very flexible schedule since I plan to work independently. I'm currently living with roommates and can't bring pets home. I'm available for pet sitting at clients' homes and walks in parks and other outdoor activities.
