“Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs all my life. I started working with dogs when I was 17. I was a kennel tech from 17 until 20. I worked and cared for doggy day care clients, boarders, and even helped with vet tech work. I also recently did dog training where I hosted board and trains in my own home! I currently have an open schedule for drop-ins and walks where I have time to look after your pet, will be needing to close my avaliablity for boarding and day care due to having a service dog in training. I will make exceptions for crate trained dogs. For possible boarders and day-care: I have a fenced-in area in my yard to let your pup run wild and get exercise! I also prefer crates for sleeping overnight, as long as that's okay! Cuddle sessions will happen every night! Walks/drop-ins: I will make sure your dog's get properly exercised on their walks or hikes. And make sure when I check in that pets are well cared for and the house is left cleaner than I left it

My goal is to help pets have so much fun that they don't have time to miss you! I currently work full time but I am free after 2pm for walks and drop-ins. I'm an early riser so I'm available for house sitting all week and super early morning drop-ins. I follow the client's instructions exactly. If I have questions I don't hesitate to ask because it's better to be safe than sorry. Pets can be very particular sometime and I want this to be an awesome experience for everyone!!

About: I have had pets my whole life(even a scorpion)! I’ve watched my cousins pets when they were out of town. I love to see my pets happy! I am pretty much available everyday for now! Preferably early weekdays! Looking for a fun summer job that will turn into a long term hobby! I have a fenced in backyard and a nice walkable neighborhood! I have a friendly and playful dog! About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. I have had the privilege of caring for many beloved pups. Throughout my pet-sitting days, I have provided a loving and safe environment for dogs of all shapes and sizes. My two personal dogs were an integral part of my life for 12 wonderful years. They both passed in the Summer of 2020. It took me awhile to get another dog, but I did finally get our Elvis (a bloodhound) in October 2022. He is almost 3 years old with a giant heart! he loves to have a fur-friend over and gets along with any age pup. I have a son who is 8 years old and absolutely loves helping out with the dogs. My son has learned so much about dogs and loves having them around as well. I also prioritize the emotional well-being of the dogs I sit for. I recognize the profound impact that loss and change can have on a dog’s mental health, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where they feel safe and supported. Through patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of canine behavior, I work to alleviate any anxiety or stress that may arise during their time with me. Above all, I approach dog sitting as a privilege and a responsibility. I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism and compassion, ensuring that each dog receives the love and attention they deserve. My goal is to provide a pawsitive and enriching experience for both the dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of peace of mind for all parties involved. I am a lunch time server at a pizza restaurant. Currently my schedule is M-F, 10:30am-3or4pm. I usually leave my home around 9:45am and I am home by 5pm. I do, however, hope to eventually do this more and serve pizza less. Making room for Doggie Daycare. The most I have had at 1 time is 5 dogs +Elvis(my dog) I have a large fenced in yard with chicken wire attached to most of the bottom to prevent any diggers that try to get out. However, all outside play is supervised by me. I do have crates and kennels. I crate most dogs while away; for mine and their safety. Although, the older ones that are well behaved that normally stay out while their parents work I allow them free rein of my home while I work also. We cant wait to schedule a meet & greet with you and your pup/puppers! Please note there are times when I may keep more than your dog, that is why meet & greets are so important to me. I will ALWAYS let you know if you are the only one scheduled, or if there are more here during there stay.

About: I have taken care of pets as long as I can remeber. People ask me to help them with their pets all the time. Your pets are part of your family. I will treat them as the treasures they are. I am available every day from 7:30 am to 7 pm. With those hours it gives me a lot of time to keep your fur baby entertained and fed. I know that for my own clan of animals that I prefer to board them at home. I like to offer the same service to my clients. Kenneling at home keeps your pet comfortable in surroundings they are used to. I can swing by to feed them, walk them, and just keep them company at least twice a day.
