âKoula did a great job! It was so nice to come home after a stressful trip to have our cats well cared for and happy! She did everything asked and I will definitely be using her again for future visits.â
âFirst time using Rover and working with Steffanie. Excellent communication and care for my two pups. It was such a relief having Steffanie work with my dogs, especially with the in-person consultation and with meeting my pups prior to my trip. Thank you so much!â

âTammy is just the BEST! She is SO loving and caring with our kitty, Mickey! She is very responsible and sends us pictures every day! We wouldnât use anyone else! â¤ď¸â
About: I have always had such a profound love for dogs: growing up, we had 4 large Weimaraners who were energetic, loving, and most definitely required a lot of walks and baths. I've been a regular volunteer at a local animal shelter for a few years and have extensive experience in caring for pets, as I've cared for our own dog at home, a sweet 12 year old who still acts like she's a 3 year old puppy. I am currently a medical student at USC SOMG. I would love to get to know and to walk and take care of your pet! :) I am available for walks on weekdays after 6:30 pm and am free all day on the weekends. I am also available per request--I have a flexible schedule and I am more than willing to work with specific day/time requests! I would love to be able to care for your pets at your home--I want to foster an environment where they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for! I will do all tasks related to bathing, feeding, walking, playing with them, etc. To me, pets are truly family, and I understand and know how important they and their needs are.

About: I worked with dogs literally my whole life. I've grown up with no less then 3 dogs in the home. Dogs and all other animals are family. I believe in tender love and care is how to treat any kinda animal. I'm fairly active on rover. Dogs help me with dealing with this issues I've felt with since I was a teenager. I'm willing to take orders from the owners for their dogs. I don't mind cleaning up after a dog. I'm willing to give the dogs a bath if needed. I don't mind feeding. I'm hoping to one day become a vet tech as I love to help every animal I can. Furbabys are the best. I work pnr atm so im trying my best to cover costs of my living wage and what better way then to do what I truly love to do and that's taking care of animals. What ever is needed of me there is no such thing as a weird request when it comes to your fur babies . I'd be more then happy to make ur fur baby feel safe as much as possible, walks, play time, dog parks whatever is needed to make sure ur fubaby feels at home.
About: I have provided professional pet-care in & out of my own home for over seven years. I am dedicated to treating your pets and your home as if it is my own. I am devoted to ensuring my schedule is built around the care of your animal. I currently work for myself, making flexibility easy for me. Quality service is my number one priority. My focus as a provider is keeping your pet as comfortable as possible, by giving them individualized attention and specialized care.
âAbsolutely excellent!! Took great care of my cats and gave me daily updates with pictures of them. I was very worried about leaving them but they were in great hands! You have a repeat customer out of me!â

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for our family dog, geese and ducks! Lately, i've committed myself to helping dogs and cats feel loved, safe and secure while their pet parents are away. I worked at a local veterinary clinic in their boarding department caring for overnight and long term clients. I previously worked at a local animal shelter for a year, where I learned the true responsibility of taking care of animals. Senior animals have such a special place in my heart! Animal happiness and safety is a main priority of mine. I am looking to take care of your animals part time and as needed! I have plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs and cats! I have 3 dogs currently, a shepherd mix, husky mix and a mini pin doberman alongside 2 cats! We have a large fenced in yard which allows us to let our dogs get their energy out and enjoy some time alone outside, while we continue to keep a close eye on them. The dogs are never out of my sight, I know how mischievous they tend to be.
âAmy is AMAZING! I would give 10 stars if I could. This was my first time using Rover and I was so nervous to leave my animals for a week. Meeting Amy instantly put me at ease after seeing how great she was with all animals, dogs and reptiles! She has a true love for all animals, the ones with fur and the ones with scales! She was amazing at communicating and sending me adorable videos and photos throughout my time away. She also took great care of my plants, packages and more. Can't thank her enough for all the help and look forward to booking her again! She's the best!â

About: Iâve always been an animal lover, and over the years, Iâve come to realize that each animal is truly unique with its own personality and quirks. This is what I love most about pet sittingâgetting to know them and observing their personalities as they become more comfortable with me. I am currently only working a few days a week as I am in school. So I will have more than enough time, love, and definitely cuddles to give to your furry family. Your petsâ safety is my top priority when pet sitting. I make every effort to ensure that your animals have a wonderful and enjoyable time while Iâm taking care of them. Also, Iâd like to add that during overnight stays, I prefer my boyfriend, Landen, to stay with me. It makes me feel more comfortable as a young woman. Heâs also an animal lover, so between the two of us, your beloved animals will receive an overload of love. (lol) Iâll make sure youâre okay with that before the booking as well!

âElizabeth was such a delight and godsend for us. She was very attentive to the needs of the pets, and showed care like they were her own. She is patient, and goes above and beyond with communication. We are very happy with finding her, definitely recommend her, and will be using her again. Welcoming someone into your home is always a bit anxiety inducing, but she made us feel very comfortable and confident to leave our precious animals in her care.â
âTalen had a great connection with my fur babies. One is timid and usually it takes a few days for a sitter to be able to touch her but she came around a little faster with Talen.â

About: I've had a pet of some sort my entire life whether it was dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, hamsters or snakes! I love caring for animals of any kind. I currently have 3 fur babies, 2 dogs and a cat, and 9 featherrd ones, chickens! Sharing my love for pets by helping out while folks are away doesn't feel like a job to me but more of a fun opportunity to do something I love. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I can take breaks for drop-ins and walks when it's convenient and if your fur baby is at my home I have a fenced back yard they can roam in anytime of day. I have a fenced space in the back yard with plenty of room for fetch and two friendly pooches to keep yours company! My husband and I work opposite shifts so someone is always home to give the fur babies love!
About: I am ALSO that dog guardian that feels like they can never trust anyone with my dog. My dogs are my whole world and it makes going out of town or long work days stressful instead of enjoyable. I have been an animal lover my entire life! What started with a family dog has turned into me owning 3 of my own dogs. I have participated in various dog sports- barn hunt, agility, and rally to name a few. Iâve worked extensively with dog trainers and although I am not a professional, I am well versed in positive reinforcement and force free training. I am confident caring for/walking dogâs that deal with reactivity or aggression issues. Iâve had to work through reactivity issues with my own dogs and I am a better dog person because of it. I am extremely detail oriented and I understand the importance of following your schedule, training, and reinforcing the behaviors you are looking for in your dog. If you are training loose leash walking, working through reactivity, avoiding walking near other dogs/people, I will completely respect that and help you. I am comfortable and confident using whichever (or none) of the training tools you use. I have a fully fenced yard and pet friendly home. I can only accept crate trained dogs for overnight stays. I have cats but I have the space to keep them separate. I work mostly from home with errands not lasting longer than 2 hours. I do not allow dogs together unsupervised. Any play or interaction will ALWAYS be supervised, as well as any outside time.
âI cannot say enough good things about Jennifer! We have 3 very skittish kitties and they went right up to her the first time she met them. She took amazing care of them, playing with them and brushing them and just spending time with them. She took excellent care of them and kept their litter and feeding areas immaculate. She was prompt, friendly, reliable and sent great daily visit summaries and pictures of our fur babies, so we knew they were okay and could enjoy our vacation. Thank you, Jennifer! I would highly recommend her!!â
About: I love all dogs, big and small. I currently have my foster fail Enzo from the Greenville Humane Society so your little (or big) ones will have a friend to play with. I have a soft spot for pitties and chihuahuas. I used to share my world with two wonderful pitties (cannot wait to see them at Rainbow Bridge). I would walk them at least four miles every day or go hiking on weekends. Enzo is now two so we chase balls and play with toys on our land and will go hiking when we can. We like to paddle board and climb mountains! I have been the designated furbaby sitter for all family pets. I love caring for animals and would love to interact with your little or big ones. Itâs a doggie world and Iâm living in it and loving every moment. I am currently a Greenville Tech nursing student. I am free on weekends and like to do outdoor activities if the weather is cool enough. Pet sitting is a part-time job I love. In my clients home, I will make sure all rules are followed. I will walk their baby on a leash and try to avoid over stimulating scenarios. I will provide their baby enough exercise so they are nice and tired.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
