About: I have had a dog as long as I can remember. I have had many dogs and a few cats over the years and spent 7 years fostering dogs while living in DC. During my fostering, I had the opportunity to train puppies, learn how to introduce dogs into homes with other dogs, and care for senior pups, keeping one of my fosters until she passed. “Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have had pets in my home since I was a child. I had a senior dog I took care of for six years. I am very comfortable with dogs at all stages or any handicaps. I am home throughout the day and all evening with a flexible schedule. My home is relaxing with plenty of space. The fenced in yard is big and a pile of perfect sticks are waiting to be played with. The neighborhood is away from main roads and safe. I do have cameras in the home to keep an eye on things if I run errands. I have a fenced in large yard for safety if your furry friend stays here. Lazy, sleepy dogs do well with it. I love to have Meet&Greets. I want you to feel comfortable with my space. If it turns out you are not on board 100%, I understand and have no hard feelings. The safety and happiness of your pet is everyone’s focus. Taking care of pets is my full time job so I am home based. I have a couple day care dogs during the work week and spend most of my day with them. I will follow through with your training and rules. Pets are spoiled with attention. I have a box of toys and treats for them. I will provide photos and videos plus regular updates.

About: I am ALSO that dog guardian that feels like they can never trust anyone with my dog. My dogs are my whole world and it makes going out of town or long work days stressful instead of enjoyable. I have been an animal lover my entire life! What started with a family dog has turned into me owning 3 of my own dogs. I have participated in various dog sports- barn hunt, agility, and rally to name a few. I’ve worked extensively with dog trainers and although I am not a professional, I am well versed in positive reinforcement and force free training. I am confident caring for/walking dog’s that deal with reactivity or aggression issues. I’ve had to work through reactivity issues with my own dogs and I am a better dog person because of it. I am extremely detail oriented and I understand the importance of following your schedule, training, and reinforcing the behaviors you are looking for in your dog. If you are training loose leash walking, working through reactivity, avoiding walking near other dogs/people, I will completely respect that and help you. I am comfortable and confident using whichever (or none) of the training tools you use. I have a fully fenced yard and pet friendly home. I can only accept crate trained dogs for overnight stays. I have cats but I have the space to keep them separate. I work mostly from home with errands not lasting longer than 2 hours. I do not allow dogs together unsupervised. Any play or interaction will ALWAYS be supervised, as well as any outside time.
About: I started working with animals 8 years ago as a volunteer at a rescue barn. I've volunteered with about 3 other rescues and shelters, from walking dogs to monitoring health conditions. I just want to show all those little furry family members the love they deserve, and make sure they can be well taken care of if you are unable or temporarily absent. I currently only work 7-2 on weekends. Otherwise, I'm wide open and would love to run and play with your pets! We love treats and I'm a quick learner. Your routine, becomes my routine. I prefer to get a play by play of each animal's daily life at home so I can most relate their stay with me in my home to it. From feeding times to walking times and even play times, I love to have a set schedule to make all our lives easier. Of course flexibility is a must, and I'm happy to follow any needs that are seen fit because the animal's well being is top priority.

About: We’ve always owned and loved dogs and animals of all shapes & sizes- ours are a part of our family and we will treat yours the same way. Our children will play & pet your pup and help me make sure they get lots of exercise while visiting on our 5 acre hobby farm. We are located in Greenville & are very conveniently located for drop off & pick up. I work very part-time from home as a writer. I choose my hours, and my children are also home five days a week. My husband has an office on our property, so someone is always around for company for the dogs. We have a few grassy fields for running around and playing fetch and a friendly Labrador to join the fun. We also have three barn stalls on the property right across from our house if they prefer to sleep outside, or I can also crate them or put out a dog pillow if they would rather sleep inside with us.
About: I've had a pet of some sort my entire life whether it was dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, hamsters or snakes! I love caring for animals of any kind. I currently have 3 fur babies, 2 dogs and a cat, and 9 featherrd ones, chickens! Sharing my love for pets by helping out while folks are away doesn't feel like a job to me but more of a fun opportunity to do something I love. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I can take breaks for drop-ins and walks when it's convenient and if your fur baby is at my home I have a fenced back yard they can roam in anytime of day. I have a fenced space in the back yard with plenty of room for fetch and two friendly pooches to keep yours company! About: We’re a happily married couple, and we both love dogs. We will take care of your pet as if it were our own child. I (Roman) grew up in a village and have always had dogs—usually at least three. The last time before I left my parents’ house, I was taking care of four dogs (one mixed-breed and three Labradors). I also looked after friends’ and relatives’ dogs—mostly Corgis. One of them was almost completely blind and elderly, so I have experience caring for older dogs and know how to give insulin injections. Anna (my wife) is a total dog mom—if she could, she’d give birth to a dog instead of a human, haha. She’s an experienced dog sitter and has been doing this professionally for the past 3 years. I'm always at home, while my wife is at work— sometimes for just four hours, sometimes a little longer. There's always someone at home. Your pet's comfort and safety are our top priorities. Since we don't have any pets of our own, your furry friend will receive our undivided attention and be the 'only child' in our home. We offer a calm, loving, and safe environment where your pup can relax and feel like royalty. They’ll have our full focus, plenty of cuddles, and a cozy space all to themselves!
