Full Time Dog Sitter
I’m Lauren, a full time dog sitter! I have worked with fur babies for over 16 years in a variety of settings from boarding facilities to vet clinics. I treat all creatures (great and small) with the love and compassion I expect my own to be treated with when I’m away. Your fur babies will be on a set schedule and have their own "staycation" when you travel. The daily routine: 6am - morning potties and playtime 9am - breakfast is served 12pm - 2pm rest time 2pm - 6pm optional playtime 6pm - dinner is served 9pm - bedtime potties Dropoffs and pickups are between 6am and 6pm. These times are firm as we have a newborn baby. We have a large fenced in backyard for playtime and a dedicated space for all guest pups staying over. Everyone eats and sleeps in either their own crate from home or one of our open top 4x4 playpens at night. This system is to prevent anyone from getting into others’ food, the trash, or destroying household items when the humans aren’t watching. I offer a complimentary daycare visit on weekdays in lieu of a traditional meet and greet. This allows me to better evaluate how new dogs interact with established clients without the presence of their owner influencing behavior. During this time, I send several updates so you can see how your pup is getting on with their new potential pack! Thank you for your interest and I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

It was like having a good friend watch our two pups. They came back tired and well loved. Lauren’s communication was above and beyond with photos and updates - it really did feel like she loves our pups just as much as us. Safety, trust & environment
I want to minimize your fur baby's stress while you’re away, while also distracting them from the fact that you're gone by incorporating their routine into our own. Everyone has ample opportunities for playtime, but if your dog is more accustomed to some down time, they are more than welcome to spend time in their own space to find some zen while the other more active visitors play. We have a room in our home designated for guest pups that has 4x4 playpens for each individual dog. This is where they eat and sleep to prevent any aggressive events from occurring when the humans are away or asleep.
Pets
A typical day
My goal is for your pet to stay safe and have fun in a super dog-friendly environment in our home. Exhausted pups are happy pups, so we wake up each day at 6am. We play in the backyard until breakfast at 9am (everyone eats separately to avoid potential food aggression). After everyone has breakfast, it's time to go back to the yard and play or take a nap. Everyone has a forced nap at 12pm and then we go back into the yard to chase tennis balls until dinner time at 6pm.
