About: Dogs naturally gravitate toward me—I connect with them instantly, and that bond becomes the foundation of trust, play, and comfort. Whether we're running around playing or curled up for cuddle time, I treat every pup like family. I talk to them like they're another person in the room because, to me, they are—each with their own personality and needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a sweet senior, I provide the same level of love, attention, and calm, reassuring care so they feel safe and at home while you're away. While I’m currently working part-time (with a possible move to full-time), I specifically look for sitting opportunities near my job so I can spend more time with the dogs instead of commuting. Whether it’s a daily visit or weeklong stay, I treat every pup as if they were my own. Their needs—walks, playtime, attention, and love—are always a top priority. Knowing they feel cared for, comfortable, and seen while their people are away is what truly fills my heart. I care for dogs in their own home because staying in familiar surroundings can ease anxiety and help them feel more secure while their family is away. Before any stay, I like to meet with the family—including the pup!—to make sure everyone is comfortable and aligned. I go over the dog’s routine in detail: where they like to rest, when and where they go to the bathroom, their favorite toys, feeding times, and any house rules (like whether they’re allowed on the furniture). I also ask about their demeanor around other animals for walks, any treat preferences, and whether playdates are part of their routine. While I’m staying in your home, I always clean up after myself and your pets, and I do my best to leave your space in the same—or better—condition than I found it. I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, and handle basic upkeep related to the pets. However, I do not provide general house cleaning services. I am not responsible for cleaning dishes, scrubbing bathrooms, or tidying up messes that were present before my arrival. My focus is on providing loving, attentive care for your pets in a clean, respectful environment.

“August did an amazing job with our dog and two cats. We were visiting SLC and needed someone to watch our animals over two days while we were at an event. Our dog was very anxious the first night due to 4th of July fireworks and the change of environment but August handled him well and kept him as calm as possible until we returned. He even stayed an extra 30 minutes while my husband was stuck in traffic. By the second day our dog was relaxed while we were gone because he knew August was a safe person. August was communicative throughout both days and kept us updated with photos and notes on how the animals were doing. I highly recommend August to anyone who needs a kind, patient pet sitter.”

“Nicole and Michael did a great job taking care of our pups and house sitting while we were out of town, and they provided lots of pictures and updates of how things were going. The house was also very clean when we got back.”

“Grace took great care of our 4 year old Retriever. She was responsive and provided nice updates throughout our trip. She stayed in our home and we came back to a house in the same condition as we left it. We will definitely be using Grace again for future trips.”

“Heather went above and beyond in taking care of our dogs. She kept us updated on how they were doing with lots of pictures and fun videos. You could tell the dogs were enjoying her company and she was treating them like they were her own. We couldn't be happier with how the stay went and will definitely work with Heather again in the future!”

“Kara was awesome! She took some of the cutest and silly photos while we were out of town. She truly loves dogs and it shows! 10/10 recommend ❤️ thanks for watching him while we were gone!”

“We think Sloan is the best, and the pets love her even more! She took incredible care of the house, kept the herb garden alive in the sweltering Utah heat, and most importantly treated the pets like family. We got lots of updates, many adorable photos, and everyone was healthy and happy when we got home.”

“Elizabeth has been fantastic. She has house/kitty sat for me twice now -- both were week-long trips. She is very mature and calm, which certainly helps me to feel less anxious! She has been super reliable and I am so glad I found her!”

“Abby has stayed at our home to take care of our anxious dog Zoe twice now and both times went smoothly. Our dog does not like other dogs and we have some specific routines we follow to ensure we avoid encounters with other dogs and Abby is good about respecting that info and making sure Zoe is as comfortable as possible. She sent plenty of pics and updates so we knew Zoe was being well taken care of, and she went above and beyond a few times cleaning up some messes (vomit) our cats made on our bed. Our cats have automatic feeders and a water fountain and often avoid unfamiliar people so we never expect sitters to do much for them, but Abby took the time to check on them often and wash some bedding the cats puked on which was an unexpected courtesy. After each visit the house was probably cleaner than it was when we left it too. My wife and I somehow have way too much going on this summer and won't hesitate to reach out to Abby whenever we are looking for someone to watch Zoe while we're gone.”

“Sydney is always wonderful with our crew and her housesitting was no exception. We appreciate all she did for our pups and cat, especially with extreme cold weather!”

“Halle was awesome! She was sharp, responsible, and great with my pups. Both of my dogs adored her. She was patient with me as the keys I had were not working. She deserves 10 stars.”

“Mira is super kind, patient and accommodating. She came and visited us ahead of time so we could meet her & she could meet our pack. During her care, one of our dogs had a situation where she had to bring him to our vet while we were out-of-town & she didn’t even hesitate. She is a Dr starting her first year of residency- I strongly suspect she’ll be a wonderful doctor!”

“Angelina was really great! She showed up on time and had great communication throughout her stay. It was so great that she sent us update and pictures to keep our mind at ease during her stay. She was kind and compassionate to our old man dog who is not always the easiest. We would definitely use her again.”

Amber K.
“As someone who loves their dog dearly & needs to feel confident my special pet will have excellent care when I have to leave on a trip I couldn’t recommend Amber K. more! I have known Amber for many years & watched her over the years interact with my dog Kadence. When she would walk through my door she would say hello to me & immediately go to Kadence. She scratches the ears & rubs the belly as we catch up. Kadence then showers Amber with kisses to thank her for the love she shows. Amber always offers to walk Kadence because the two of them love being together. I couldn’t recommend anyone more than Amber K. If you are looking for a caring, compassionate & responsible pet care giver I suggest you give Amber a try you won’t be disappointed.”
