About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: Pet care for me started when I was 10 years old and visiting my grandma on a farm - while my sisters played Barbie’s, I played in the dirt and cared for and played with chickens, cows, goats, and all the stray farm cats. I would love to drop in and care for your pets while you are away and since I have dogs of my own, I don’t travel on the weekends much 😉 If your pet is staying with me we have a fully fenced in yard, three dogs that they can play with, and two kids who know how lovingly care for animals. If it's not a weekend, I would be able to stop by over the lunch hour to let dogs out and have some play time or might even have afternoons or mornings to work from home. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I have done overnights, check-ins, and dog walking. I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. Otherwise I work 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to be with them before work, after work, and during lunch. I am also free most weekends. I would prefer to take care of your pet in your home since I have an apartment but if needed they can stay with me.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since the age of 10. Family, and friends have trusted me to take care of their dogs for short and long periods of time. I work a part time job while taking college classes at USD. I still find time in my day to play with and care for the animals I’m trusted with. I have a crate for dogs or a comfy bed for them to sleep on. I don’t have a fenced yard but do have a long chain dogs can use on the side of the house.

About: I have been a cat and dog owner most of my adult life. One of our labs, Wrigley, had extreme separation anxiety so I have experience with that behavior and understand how important Rover is to a family going through that. I also took great care of her as she aged and went through sickness. Our newest lab, Charlee has been through Stay and Train. We know the importance of following through on commands when dogs know them. I will learn what you use with your dog and carry through or teach you and they some if you’d like. I have a flexible work schedule during the week which allows me time to drop in and see a pet or to take on a walk. If I’m not camping in the summer, I am able to help on the weekends too! I believe in meeting the owner’s expectations and their pet’s needs. We have a routine for our dog but I will seek what yours is and take care of them how you wish. I will take notes and do what is needed for your pet to be comfortable around me.

About: I’ve had a high maintenance dog since I was 8 years old. I have had 12 years of taking her for runs, playing with her and keeping her healthy and active! I have also always enjoyed going to local shelters to walk dogs! I am currently working part time in Sioux City. About: I have been a pet owner my whole life and have been doing pet sitting for friends and family since I can remember. I seem to connect with pets better than a humans :😊 I have never met a pet I don’t love or love me back. Your furry family members will be in her best hands and ger a lot of love and attention when you are away. I work two part time jobs 9-1pm 4-8/9pm 5 days a week sometimes the days vary.
