About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of many breeds, giving me extensive experience with animals of different temperaments. I truly love all animals and enjoy caring for each one like my own. I also have a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I am currently a part-time online college student, so my class schedule is completely flexible! I also work part time at the hospital, but am able to create my own schedule. I will easily be able to fit your pet’s needs into my day and can rearrange my routine if necessary! Although I would prefer to care for your pets in your own home, I am willing to board at my house as well. I have a decent sized side yard, and I live in a very walkable neighborhood. About: I have had cats and dogs for over 50 years. I have an extremely reactive pitbull named Sky, and she is a sassy stubborn girl. I have dealt with the difficulties of a reactive dog for years. I am very capable of handling just about any pup!!!! I dog sat in Colorado regularly and I am looking to bringing this experience to Sioux Falls! I have taken care of small dogs and large dogs and i have no difficulties or preferences. I work well with Seniors!!!! I currently work friday thru sunday in Sioux City as an X-ray Tech. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since the age of 10. Family, and friends have trusted me to take care of their dogs for short and long periods of time. I work a part time job while taking college classes at USD. I still find time in my day to play with and care for the animals I’m trusted with. About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

One of our labs, Wrigley, had extreme separation anxiety so I have experience with that behavior and understand how important Rover is to a family going through that. Did a great job! She paid attention to my dog and her needs. She walked my dog on a fairly hot day and I was worried about her overheating but she kept me reassured and it went great. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
