About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.

My nursing schedule changes weekly, but during my time off I enjoy helping fellow pet owners by providing loving, reliable care for their dogs. With years of experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and family pets, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. During walks, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and bathroom breaks while always prioritizing safety with secure leashes and awareness of surroundings. For drop-in visits, I provide fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of affection and companionship. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: I have been dog sitting and babysitting for as long as I can remember! I come from a small town, so I spent lots of time going to neighbors’ houses and letting them out while they went on vacation. I have watched pets ranging from the ages 4 months to 16 years. I know how to properly give them medication, groom them, play with them, and much more. I currently am working part time as a receptionist currently, but am in search of a SAH position so I will be home a lot. My schedule is very flexible and I would love to care for your furry friends! I live in a neighborhood near an off-leash dog park that my dog loves to spend time at. I like to take my dog to lakes to go swimming as well, if yours enjoys the water! We have a lot of open space in our home for the dogs to run and play, as well as toys!

About: **Updated 5/25/24: the only pet we have at the time is an English angora rabbit who lives outside or in the garage. We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. We have an English Angora rabbit, so are experienced with rabbits and can provide drop-in service for small animals as well as dogs and cats. I work as a registered nurse very part time, and homeschool my two children. We are often home, and are not usually away from the house for more than 4-6 hours. We have a large, fenced-in yard, and are able and willing to bring your dog on walks around our neighborhood. I have two responsible children at home, ages 9 and 12, and they are experienced with dogs and have been involved with care and training. We can accommodate all kinds of needs. As a registered nurse, I am trustworthy and responsible, and am very experienced with following a care plan and providing detailed updates. I’ll be happy to send reports and pictures while you are away from your pet!

About: With 10 years of experience through our own family pets, I bring an understanding for dogs large or small and personalities. I approach each visit with attentiveness to your pets needs while striving to provide a safe and comforting environment where your pet feels secure and loved while you're away. I am self-employed and work from home. My schedule can be flexible allowing me to engage with your pet and get some sunshine! During busy/peak times, my availability can change. My husband and three children (ages from 14-2) are friendly with dogs, we have a fully fenced in back yard, and a nice walkable neighborhood to ensure your pet gets lots of play time! We can crate your pet if needed be.

About: While I am new to providing pet care, I have always had a love for animals! I am reliable, attentive and committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe while you are away! I provide picture updates to you with the various activities we will be doing so there is no worry while you are away! I currently work full-time and I have availability in the evenings to take dogs for walks and my weekends are opening as we wind down on the summer! I currently live in a town home with no backyard. I have 1 dog myself that I take for 3 miles walks everyday and we go to dog parks on the weekends to let him run around burn off energy! He loves other dogs! I am also available to do drop ins at your house or stay at your house if that makes you more at ease. I am easy to reach and very flexible!

About: I’ve had a high maintenance dog since I was 8 years old. I have had 12 years of taking her for runs, playing with her and keeping her healthy and active! I have also always enjoyed going to local shelters to walk dogs! I am currently working part time in Sioux City. I will have a good bit of availability in afternoons and weekends to care for your lovely pups! I will be respectful of your home and your animals, and will follow any and all instructions given. About: Get your pup watched and played with letting you have a day not worrying, i’ve been around dogs forever wanting one of my own and loving dogs like no other. I’ll be there and you can trust me with your pet, i’ll run around and play with them all day long till there tired I love helping and i want to be someone you can rely on, im opening my schedule and able to check in and watch your pet and go check in between 8am to 4:30 every weekday i’d love to keep your baby comfortable and help you out with no worries in your own home, playing with and following everything you normally do.

About: Pet care for me started when I was 10 years old and visiting my grandma on a farm - while my sisters played Barbie’s, I played in the dirt and cared for and played with chickens, cows, goats, and all the stray farm cats. I have loved any and all animals ever since! I have never had a moment in my life where there wasn't a dog or a cat in my family and right now we have three amazing (big) dogs! I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment as if you were there. I work a full time job but with a lot of flexibility during the day. I would love to drop in and care for your pets while you are away and since I have dogs of my own, I don’t travel on the weekends much 😉 If your pet is staying with me we have a fully fenced in yard, three dogs that they can play with, and two kids who know how lovingly care for animals. If it's not a weekend, I would be able to stop by over the lunch hour to let dogs out and have some play time or might even have afternoons or mornings to work from home. Just depends on the day and I would love to schedule around your stay with us! I am always willing to listen to how you care for your pet(s) and make sure your pet(s) receives the same care and love from me that they would if you were still at home. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: I have had multiple dogs, young and old, throughout my life. I’ve had a Shih Tzu, golden lab, fostered multiple pit bulls, and currently have two cats at home. I am comfortable with both high energy and high maintenance dogs, and am able to run with a dog who can’t seem to walk at a normal pace. Currently, I have two cats and a bunny, giving me background on the best care for any other pet needs! I am currently working part-time remotely, making my work schedule very convenient for any sitting needs. I am a full-time student at USD, pursing Finance, where I have classes only on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 9:00-1:45 p.m. Because I live in a town home complex that is unfenced, and have two cats at home, I am unable to sit at my location. But, I have a lot of experience with dog sitting at others homes, from neighbors, to family friends, to my parents clients when needed!

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.
