About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: Hi, my name is Ana! I don't think there has ever been a time in my life when I haven't had dogs, which is why I truly believe your pet deserves to be cared for like they are part of the family. I have two dogs of my own, Ziggy and Porky, who love dogs of all sizes and even cats! They are always ready to make a new friend and have some fun. If your pet is older, more independent, or simply isn't interested in playing with other dogs, that's completely okay! Ziggy and Porky are great about giving dogs their space when they need it. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while still getting the exercise, attention, and activity that's appropriate for them. My goal is for your pet to feel at home, have fun, and receive the same patience and care I would want for my own dogs. About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home full time. This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a house with a backyard where I can comfortably host pets and provide a safe, welcoming environment. Dogs have the freedom to enjoy the backyard throughout their stay, giving them space to play, explore, and get some fresh air. I’m also able to provide walks, potty breaks, and plenty of attention to help them feel comfortable and at home. About: While I am new to providing pet care, I have always had a love for animals! I am reliable, attentive and committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe while you are away! I provide picture updates to you with the various activities we will be doing so there is no worry while you are away! I currently work full-time and I have availability in the evenings to take dogs for walks and my weekends are opening as we wind down on the summer! I currently live in a town home with no backyard. I have 1 dog myself that I take for 3 miles walks everyday and we go to dog parks on the weekends to let him run around burn off energy! He loves other dogs! About: I have had cats and dogs for over 50 years. I have an extremely reactive pitbull named Sky, and she is a sassy stubborn girl. I have dealt with the difficulties of a reactive dog for years. I am very capable of handling just about any pup!!!! I dog sat in Colorado regularly and I am looking to bringing this experience to Sioux Falls! I have taken care of small dogs and large dogs and i have no difficulties or preferences. I work well with Seniors!!!! I currently work friday thru sunday in Sioux City as an X-ray Tech. About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child. Growing up, my family had several dogs, including a Shih Tzu, two Shiba Inus, and a Newfoundland, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I also grew up with a Persian cat, whom I helped care for from a young age. These experiences taught me how to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care while adapting to each pet's unique needs. I also volunteer at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and participate in their Rescue Day Recess! My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week to check in on pets, take dogs for walks, provide playtime, feed them, and make sure they're happy and comfortable while you're away. I have watched 2 Shiba Inus by myself for over a year and have taken care of a Newfoundland for multiple nights. Neither of the homes had a fence but I compensate by taking the dogs out multiple times a day and going for walks. I’m very familiar with taking dogs out to relieve themselves, feeding, and possible medications they might need to take. Whether the dog is energetic, like my 2 Shiba Inus, or more relaxed, like my 10 year old Newfoundland, I make it work according to their needs.
