As a full-time oncology nurse, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable and caring looking after your pets. My nursing schedule changes weekly, but during my time off I enjoy helping fellow pet owners by providing loving, reliable care for their dogs. With years of experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and family pets, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. During walks, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and bathroom breaks while always prioritizing safety with secure leashes and awareness of surroundings. For drop-in visits, I provide fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of affection and companionship. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I've grown up with animals my whole life and just recently volunteered at the humane society walking dogs! I also love working with cats and love to be playful with all kinds of animals! I'm currently only taking hours on the days I have off, so I'm free each day to look after your fur babies throughout the day! About: I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience training therapy dogs, rescue dogs, leash training, and teaching tricks/commands. A strength of mine is I am an avid long distance runner/hiker. So if you have a high energy pet that needs those longer walks I’m happy to oblige! I believe every animal has a unique personality and set of needs. I would love to get to know your furry friend and their preferences! I am an ASL Interpreter for the Sioux Falls School District! My work hours are 8:00-4:00 M-F. Besides that I am available for your pet care needs! I believe pets need a clean and safe environment to thrive. About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, and I have three dogs of my own now. My experience includes puppy care, senior dog care, and every day care needs. Here me help make your day easier! I typically work nights as a bartender, so I am available in the daytime between 8am and 4pm. I’m happy to drop in and take care of your pup when your pup needs it most! I am home with my three girls throughout the day, taking care of their needs throughout the day. I’m happy to take some time to extend the same care to your pup during your busy work day!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home full time. This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a house with a backyard where I can comfortably host pets and provide a safe, welcoming environment. Dogs have the freedom to enjoy the backyard throughout their stay, giving them space to play, explore, and get some fresh air. I’m also able to provide walks, potty breaks, and plenty of attention to help them feel comfortable and at home. I’m flexible and always prioritize clear communication with owners to ensure their pets receive the care they need.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and I am a veterinarian technician working full time! I treat them all like my own. I work full time at a clinic throughout the week but then I have the weekend to babysit or go on walks with your pets. I live in an apartment so prefer at clients house, but I can make it happen if needed bc I do own a crate. I don’t have any pets so that won’t be a complication either. I work with animals all day and I treat them all like my own if I had any!

I also volunteer at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and participate in their Rescue Day Recess! I currently attend the University of South Dakota and work part-time at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week to check in on pets, take dogs for walks, provide playtime, feed them, and make sure they're happy and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some extra attention during the day, I'm committed to providing dependable, loving care that fits their routine. I have watched 2 Shiba Inus by myself for over a year and have taken care of a Newfoundland for multiple nights. Neither of the homes had a fence but I compensate by taking the dogs out multiple times a day and going for walks. I’m very familiar with taking dogs out to relieve themselves, feeding, and possible medications they might need to take. Whether the dog is energetic, like my 2 Shiba Inus, or more relaxed, like my 10 year old Newfoundland, I make it work according to their needs.

About: While I am new to providing pet care, I have always had a love for animals! I am reliable, attentive and committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe while you are away! I provide picture updates to you with the various activities we will be doing so there is no worry while you are away! I currently work full-time and I have availability in the evenings to take dogs for walks and my weekends are opening as we wind down on the summer! I currently live in a town home with no backyard. I have 1 dog myself that I take for 3 miles walks everyday and we go to dog parks on the weekends to let him run around burn off energy! He loves other dogs!
