About: I am originally from Brandon, SD. I work full time at the Brandon Valley Veterinary Clinic in Brandon, SD. I have worked both with the boarding at the clinic and in the clinic setting. I fed, watered, let out and gave any meds (either oral, shots, or pills) to any dogs or cats that needed it. While at the vet clinic, I had bathed the dogs/cats for grooming and helped the veterinarian in appointments. I currently work full-time at a veterinary clinic, but I tend to have most evenings and some weekends available. If you have any questions about my availability, reach out and Ill let you know! At my client's home, I do as I was instructed to with the pet. Whether that’s letting them out in on leash or free range in a fenced yard etc.
4. Matt G.
“Matt was very attentive and went above and beyond while he cared for my two large dogs. It was a relief to know that my dogs were in good hands while I was away for a week. I would not hesitate to rebook with Matt in the future or refer him to friends and family in need of pet sitting services.”
5. Kelsey P.
“Kelsey did an amazing job with me dogs!!! I really love that she sent pictures each time she visited and she was out with them. Her notes were also very much appreciated, just to keep me updated.”
6. Lexy P.
“Lexy was so great and trustworthy with our little Ellie. When we got home Ellie was so happy. We really appreciate Lexy being available short notice and taking the time to love on our little Ellie. Would definitely rebook!”
7. Jon and Cara B.
“Jon and Cara take great care of their pets. One of their dogs wasn’t able to adjust to living with a small child. Instead of giving up the dog to a pet adoption agency and forgetting about the dog, they found a person who they thought would be a good fit for their dog. In the years that followed, they sent the dog treats at Christmas and stayed up to date on how the dog was doing. Eventually, they adopted another dog and he is loved and well cared for (spoiled). I know they will treat all animals in their care the same way they treat their own pets. I don’t worry about my dog when he is with them.”
8. Bj H.
“BJ was told that she may never see our cats as they are VERY shy. I was surprised to see two pics of one of our little guys - and it was a comfort as this was our first trip away from them. I know she followed our instructions for quiet as both cats came out quickly when we came home and were not traumatized by a new person in their home. Thanks for your help in watching our cats and fish while we were gone BJ.”
9. Emma C.
“As always, Emma was great. She takes such great care of our cats. She sends messages with updates, pictures, and if she ever has any concerns. Emma is our go to cat sitter anytime we leave. Would absolutely recommend her.”
10. Salena S.
“Salena is a very trustworthy and responsible person. She is on time, patient and kind! We trust her with our 11 month only Golden. Highly recommend!”
11. Ellen K.
“Ellen made sure my dog was well taken care of and was excellent with communicating while I was away, long walks and pets = happy husky dog, definitely will book again with her!”
12. Elly S.
“Elly was great with communication and timeliness! She went above and beyond with not only taking care of our kitties while we were away, she also watered our flowers for us. Definitely recommend for watching kitties and house check ins!”
13. Kimberly G.
“Kim is fantastic with pets! She is planning on becoming a small animal vet in the future. She has a great mindset in terms of keeping all forms of pets as healthy and happy as possible. I have never met someone with more kindness and love towards animals. She would be my top choice for taking care of my pet!”
14. April N.
“If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet with love, respect, kindness, attention, and care, please consider April. She is also an RN who has a gentle, kind, loving nature and has passed it on to her two children and significant other, who also treat animals with love. Currently, they have a well-loved bunny, Cheesecake. At age 7, April got her first pet, Ariel, a cat who lived a happy, healthy life until she was 17 years old. When April was 11, she owned her own horse, Spur, that she trained and cared for. She spent one summer raising chicks ( chickens, turkeys, geese, and a duck) and would often read her books while sitting out with them in the field. She helped raise and train four beautiful family dogs, Molly, Maggie, Merlin, and Orby, helping to establish calm, relaxed energy. In her young adulthood, she has raised trained her own wonderful dogs, Jack, Hugo, and Kermit, to have relaxed positive energy by demonstrating those qualities in own leadership. She also fostered dogs and treated them with utmost kindness and attention until they found homes. You can have confidence that your animals would be safe, secure, and loved in April’s care.”
15. Melanie S.

About: I've been around and taken care of dogs for a majority of my life. When my family members go out of town they generally ask me to watch over their pets until they get back. I also currently have a dog of my own and help take care of him, having trained him a bit I also know a few things on how to train dogs. I also worked at The Bark Spot which is a dog boarding and daycare place, which has given me even more experience around others dogs. I currently have a golden retriever and used to work at the bark spot. I'm also a senior baseball player. My schedule is pretty flexible and I'm able to make taking care of pets fit into it. I care for dogs by doing what I am asked to do. If I have extra time I will play with the dog/s more. I will also follow all guidelines set by the owner.
