About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart since I was little. Although Riya is our only dog right now, I’ve been a two-dog household for the past 16 years. We said goodbye to our sweet girls Maci (7/4/10–3/9/24) and Roxy (5/20/08–7/2020), who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable with everything from the high energy of puppies to the slower, mellow pace of senior dogs. Our family currently has a German Shorthaired Pointer, so we definitely understand how to manage and release lots of energy! Over the years, I’ve also cared for pets for family and friends. I’ve hosted dogs in our home and done drop-in visits for cats—feeding them, giving them attention, and cleaning litter boxes. January 2025 I went back to the office 3 days a week. About: I’ve had pets of all kinds since I was little, and even took care of livestock for many years. Animals are such an important part in my life so I’d love to be able to bring people peace of mind when their animals need to be cared for! I am flexible and know how tough it can be to need help and not have any; I’d love to be able to set a weekly routine so you, your pets, and I all know what to expect! About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.
About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently working part time with a very flexible schedule so I'll always have time to care. I'm also almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.
About: My significant other and I live in a house with 3 dogs. We take our dogs (who are more like our kids)on a walk in our neighborhood or fenced in backyard and let them run around at least twice a day! Our dogs are spoiled and loved as they should be! We play ball and snuggle and they sleep with us too:) We'd love to love your pet while you're away! I work part time at WagZone dog day care so I have a lot of free time for my own pups. I love walks, hikes on our land outside of time or just fetch time in the yard. Fenced in yard allows dogs to run freely all day with a dog door to a sheltered garage. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I have done overnights, check-ins, and dog walking. I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. Otherwise I work 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to be with them before work, after work, and during lunch. I am also free most weekends. I would prefer to take care of your pet in your home since I have an apartment but if needed they can stay with me.
About: Pet care for me started when I was 10 years old and visiting my grandma on a farm - while my sisters played Barbie’s, I played in the dirt and cared for and played with chickens, cows, goats, and all the stray farm cats. I have loved any and all animals ever since! I have never had a moment in my life where there wasn't a dog or a cat in my family and right now we have three amazing (big) dogs! I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment as if you were there. I work a full time job but with a lot of flexibility during the day. I would love to drop in and care for your pets while you are away and since I have dogs of my own, I don’t travel on the weekends much 😉 If your pet is staying with me we have a fully fenced in yard, three dogs that they can play with, and two kids who know how lovingly care for animals. If it's not a weekend, I would be able to stop by over the lunch hour to let dogs out and have some play time or might even have afternoons or mornings to work from home. Just depends on the day and I would love to schedule around your stay with us! I am always willing to listen to how you care for your pet(s) and make sure your pet(s) receives the same care and love from me that they would if you were still at home. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. We have an English Angora rabbit, so are experienced with rabbits and can provide drop-in service for small animals as well as dogs and cats. I work as a registered nurse very part time, and homeschool my two children. We are often home, and are not usually away from the house for more than 4-6 hours. We have a large, fenced-in yard, and are able and willing to bring your dog on walks around our neighborhood. About: I have my own fur babies of 5 cats and one 16 year old dog. House is a little chaotic but loving and caring. Each animal has their own needs and I provide them with everything in the world and more. Anything that will work around my college schedule will be most beneficial. Part time jobs can be hard in this economy especially with 18 credit hours this semester. Being able to cuddle and hangout with animals while I can maintain school work sounds like a blast. Your pets are not just pets but they are your babies. I will take care of them like I take care of my own fur babies. They will become one of my fur babies while I take care of them. My pets get their medicine on time, fed on time, and always have water available. Litter boxes get cleaned regularly to keep up with odors.
