Personalized care for your dog or cat - Brandon

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Brandon
“Jayne and her family were great. They cared for our puppy for 5 days while we were on vacation. He had a great time playing with their dogs. Jayne sent video and picture updates every day. I felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with them, you could tell they liked him and cared for him well. Thank you Jayne & family.”

“Krysten & family were so great! We were able to have nice peace of mind Leo was very well taken care of during our long weekend. Krysten sent many picture and video updates to let us know Leo was happy! Highly recommend Krysten & family!”

“Thank you so much for letting Lillie hang out with you while we were in town! Paige is great at communicating and so sweet, she took great care of our senior dog while we were visiting from out of state! We got pictures and updates throughout the day which was so appreciated.”

“The dogs seemed so cozy in this home! Great communication from the sitter. We had no issues whatsoever. Very thankful that they had a comfortable place to stay while we were away!”

“Tracy was great to work with, very compassionate about her duty as a sitter and made Hank feel loved and appreciated!! I also appreciated that she was understanding about me being late for pickup as I am just getting settled into a new environment. I hope and look forward to using her again in the future!! Her darling Stella who is as well a Yorkie was just a cute girl. We loved Tracy!”

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter. She was totally committed to making Bella's stay a good one. Her dog turned out to be a great playmate. Bella comes on strong, not all dogs enjoy her. Highly recommend!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was a bit hesitant but Lauren & Corey put us at ease when we stopped over to do a meet and greet. We left Buddy with them for nine days and we were happy with the overall care! Lauren was prompt and responsive. She did a great job of keeping me informed and even sending me periodic pictures! Would definitely be interested in booking them again!”

“Melissa has completely gained my confidence as someone who will care as well for my dogs as well as I would myself. I could tell from the pictures and videos she shared during their stay that they were having a very positive experience. I feel fortunate to have found such a caring and competent sitter!”

“Michelle and her family have been a godsend to our family. Not only have their family been wonderful to work with, our dog gets treated just like family while there. Her son has even formed a special bond with our dog. I highly recommend her and we won't ever look back at doing the typical dog kennels again!”

“Rachel and her family did great with my little one. She updated me every day with pictures and videos and a complete report of each day. They welcome Coco as one more of their family and he received lot of attention and care during the stay. I totally recommend them and definitely I will book again with her.”

“Melissa‘s kindness, sincerity, and genuine warmth shine through from the moment you meet her. Her home has that same welcoming energy –comfortable safe and full of thoughtful touches. The meat-and-greet Melissa offered before the stay was generous and reassuring, and Copper, her pup, was the perfect host - basically the mayor of hospitality town! He welcomed Peanut like an old friend and immediately showed her around. Melissa was flexible, thoughtful, and attentive, and she sent photos and videos throughout Peanut’s stay that absolutely made my day. Peanut came home ready for a nap, content, and clearly well-cared for - the Holy Trinity of a perfect pup vacation! Copper even taught Peanut how to go down the stairs, which definitely deserves its own merit badge. I am grateful for people like Melissa who create a safe, honest, and welcoming space for visiting pups. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, trustworthy, and genuinely caring home for their dog. You almost want to ask if she offers human boarding too. Melissa is agem – five stars, many tail wags, and a standing ovation from Peanut.”

“Nichole and her sons Jackson and William were awesome!! Buddy loved them.. they sent pictures and videos of them playing and napping and running in their huge yard several times throughout the 2 1/2 wks watching him! He was treated so well we were afraid he wouldn’t want to come home 😜 We were so grateful for the great care! They are a great family with a great home! Thanx so much!”

“Mikayla was so kind when I had a family emergency and needed to leave town in a hurry. My puppy had a great time (she's told me all about it) and the family was really nice. ❤️”

“Shayla took excellent care of my dog, Sadie. She has a beautiful big fenced yard where Sadie and her dog played together. Every day, Shayla sent me texts with pictures and an explanation of how Sadie was doing. That was very thoughtful of her. I know Sadie will love to go back there again.”

“We booked with Lezlie a last minute 3 days board sitting for our dog Pete. She was supper accommodating and took great care of Pete. We appreciate all the pictures and how we were kept informed about his day. We can tell he had a great time! And would love to rebook with her next time.”

Cat caregivers near you - Brandon

“Brittany did a wonderful job watching our two cats. We have a cat who gets anxious when we leave and tends to pee on furniture or clothes if we are gone more than a day or two. We were gone for five days and there were no such incidents thanks to Brittany’s attentive care. Our animals seemed happy and content as if we hadn’t left at all, and it was such a relief to come home to relaxed animals in a clean home. 10/10, thank you Brittany!”

“Olivia was great with my kitties! She did three drop in visits and was on time, took lots of photos, and communicated with me throughout my trip. Will definitely rebook! Thanks Olivia!”

“Maria was amazing!! I received lots of pictures and communication about Oscar! He clearly had so much fun! Maria is definitely my first choice now anytime I need a pet sitter!”

“Magdalen did a great job with our 9 week old kitten! It was our kitten's first time home without us, and Magdalen helped us all feel less anxious. She sent us multiple updates and pictures, and did a great job with kitten enrichment! We will definitely book her again!”

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
About: I have been a nanny and dog sitter for 8+ years. I have experience with all sizes and ages of pets. I enjoy taking care and spending time with animals. I love getting to know their personalities. I am a freelance artist, my current schedule is pretty flexible. I open currently to new clients that are looking for drop in visits or walks. Since I have pets of my own, I am only open to walking and watching pets in their own home. I enjoy understanding animals and how to make them comfortable.

“Miss Madison is amazing! She took such great care of both my babies. She boarded my senior dog and did drop in visits on my cat. Madison also has a senior dog so it was nice for him to have a companion he could keep up with! She sent lots of pictures and updates during my trip that gave me the warm and fuzzies that my animals were in great care. I plan to book with her again soon! Thank you again Miss Madison!”

About: I’m a calm, nurturing, and reliable pet sitter who genuinely enjoys caring for animals of all kinds. I grew up with pets and currently have both a cat and a dog, so I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust!

About: As a proud cat mom to two very spoiled kitties, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I’ll treat your pets like my own and keep you updated with regular messages and plenty of photos, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members!
About: I’m a lifelong dog owner with extensive experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and needs. For six years, I fostered dogs ranging from tiny puppies to senior and special-needs dogs, giving me a deep understanding of different temperaments and care requirements. I also volunteered with the Humane Society for five years, including three years on the Board of Directors, which strengthened my commitment to animal welfare. At home, I currently have three dogs—a small, medium, and giant breed (English Mastiff!)—so I’m comfortable with everything from gentle companions to big, energetic pups. Your dog will be cared for with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. I’ve structured my schedule specifically to be available for lunchtime drop-ins and walks during the week. This allows me to give dogs a reliable midday break when their owners can’t make it home. I also keep my weekends fully open, so I can provide flexible care, extra visits, or longer walks as needed. Caring for animals is a natural part of my daily life, and I’m happy to build my routine around giving pets the attention and consistency they deserve. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I follow your routine as closely as possible to keep your dog comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they get fresh water, a potty break, and any feeding or medications they need. I take the time to give them attention, playtime, and reassurance so they feel relaxed and safe while you’re away. I’m careful to respect your home, follow all instructions you provide, and keep things clean and tidy. I also send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to provide calm, consistent care that helps your pet feel secure in their familiar environment.
About: Hey there! My name is Payton. I’ve had dogs my whole life and grew to appreciate the opportunity to dog-sit while in school in St. Louis, as I wasn't able to have my own. With that, all of my love for pets can go to yours! If you have an athletic or active dog, I am the host for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash) and running the trails will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I’m the owner/chiropractor at Resilience Chiropractic & Rehab. I have tremendous flexibility in my schedule as I'm starting up my practice and would love the opportunity to spend it caring for your pets!! When visiting your home, I will make sure everything is better than when I found it. Your pet will be welcomed with a warm smile! Many snuggles, pets, and belly rubs will be shared.

About: I haven't had many cats in my own home, but volunteering at the Humane Society has taught me a lot about caring for cats with different personalities and needs. I understand that cats can take time to warm up, and I’m happy to let them come to me on their own terms. I’ll make sure your cat receives plenty of attention, fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and care that follows their normal routine.
About: I have a vast amount of personal experience with caring, training, and adoring all sorts of pets. Family friends seek me out to take care of their dogs and cats when they need a well-deserved summer vacation. I am dedicated, patient, kind, and love meeting new pets! I work as a full-time teacher during the school year so during the Summer I have a large quantity of time I can dedicate to taking care of your animals. I will follow your instructions to the T and will give your puppy all the attention they are entitled too! Feel free to also ask me to water plants while you are away!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Brandon
“Anna and her family are great! We used her daycare services while we had some work being done at our house and she was super flexible when we needed to adjust days last minute. Anna takes such good care of our pup, I highly recommend her!”

“Nyree Karina was able to accommodate day care fairly last minute for Sloane! She was very communicative, friendly, and sent many updates during Sloane’s stay!”

“The sweetest care giver and dogs! My pup had such a fun day and slept the whole evening when we got home bc she was playing so much and so happy! Would absolutely book again”

About: I work remotely so I’m home most of the day☺️ This allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day! My husband and I are both dog lovers and have a dog of our own, Carter, a 9 y.o. black lab/blue heeler mix. She’s very friendly, easygoing, and gets along great with other dogs🐶 We don’t have kids, so our home is calm and quiet, and the dogs get lots of attention🥰 They’re welcome on the furniture if that’s what they’re used to at home, and we have a large fenced yard where they can safely run and play. We also live in a safe, dog-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for regular walks! I’ll treat your pup like part of the family and do my BEST to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re here🥰 Feel free to reach out with any questions about availability or how boarding/daycare works, I’m always happy to help!☺️ Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day and able to give dogs lots of attention🥰 Walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my routine I only take up to 2 dogs per day to keep things calm, comfortable, and low-stress for everyone. I treat every dog like family and work from home, so they get plenty of attention and supervision! My home is clean, pet-friendly, with a large fenced yard for safe playtime, and I always follow each dog’s routine to help them feel at ease🙂
About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well
About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.
About: I have been a dog owner and lover for most of my life. I currently do not have a dog in the home, so I can focus full-time on your furry family members. I have a lot of experience with pit blends, as well as small dogs. I work freelance from home, and currently have plenty of time to spend giving scritches and going out to play. I am also a runner, and would love to take any dogs with me who love to run. We have a fenced in yard, and a dog room in our basement for naps. We also have a couch in the main living area that's just for dogs, but they are also welcome to sit on our couch or in our recliner chair. We live very close to the bike trail and several parks, and walking distance to the downtown dog park. I also have a dog-safe car for trips to Spencer or Family Dog Park or special trips to The Splash Bark.
“Oliver loved being at Lauren and Corey’s house. They took great care of him and made our first experience with Rover wonderful. We will definitely be contacting them again when we need care for him in the future.”

“Emily and her pups were amazing sitters for our boy Sonoma today! We were nervous about leaving him with someone for the first time but after chatting with Emily and meeting her and her 2 dogs for a few minutes the day before the planned sitting…we were totally confident that he was in good hands. Emily is such a kind hearted person with a genuine love for dogs and it shows in her care for her own. Sonoma immediately warmed up to her and the 3 puppies were able to have a great time together. She was considerate of our routine/habits and sent pictures all day long, which we were so thankful to have! Sonoma didn’t want to leave Emily’s house and even sat in protest on her porch. We would absolutely love/plan to use Emily again and would recommend her to anyone looking for fantastic care in Paradise!”

“Shayla did a great job with Copper! My dog is very timid and anxious with new places & people, and she was very patient with him and understanding. She sent updated and pics of him throughout the day to update me on how he was doing!”

About: I grew up with pets and love and respect them very much. We can learn a lot from them. I would love to make your pet feel safe. I will follow your instructions to make your pet feel at home and I always hace extra snacks.
“Ana did a great job watching our pup while we were visiting from out of town. She was understanding and responsive to our dog who was upset and needy due travel and changing environments. We hope to be back soon!”

“We had a great experience! Melissa watched our dog for a few hours, and everything went smoothly. Communication was easy, she was friendly and reliable, and our dog was well cared for.”

“Christina has a fantastic fenced in backyard and a very friendly dog. You can tell she enjoys interacting with the dogs too! She sent some videos and pics to let us know how they were doing. We can tell they had an absolute blast with her family! We barely made it in the door and they both flopped over from being tired! We will be definitely be repeat customers!! THANK YOU!!!!!”

More than 1.6 million pets enjoyed cuddles and care from sitters on Rover1
Adventure-ready dog walkers - Brandon
About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.
“Olivia was amazing with our dog and went above and beyond to help care for her when we were out of town. So grateful to have had her help and will definitely book again in the future!”

“Madison was so great! She got back to me promptly and stopped over for a meet and greet before starting service to get to know everyone. My dogs seemed to be very comfortable and happy with her! I enjoyed all the photo updates and I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands feeling safe and loved and getting the exercise they needed!”

“Madison was incredible. She helped us out last minute and was incredibly flexible and very easy to communicate with. Our dog absolutely loved her. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child. Growing up, my family had several dogs, including a Shih Tzu, two Shiba Inus, and a Newfoundland, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I also grew up with a Persian cat, whom I helped care for from a young age. These experiences taught me how to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care while adapting to each pet's unique needs. I also volunteer at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and participate in their Rescue Day Recess! I currently attend the University of South Dakota and work part-time at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week to check in on pets, take dogs for walks, provide playtime, feed them, and make sure they're happy and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some extra attention during the day, I'm committed to providing dependable, loving care that fits their routine. I have watched 2 Shiba Inus by myself for over a year and have taken care of a Newfoundland for multiple nights. Neither of the homes had a fence but I compensate by taking the dogs out multiple times a day and going for walks. I’m very familiar with taking dogs out to relieve themselves, feeding, and possible medications they might need to take. Whether the dog is energetic, like my 2 Shiba Inus, or more relaxed, like my 10 year old Newfoundland, I make it work according to their needs.

About: Hi, my name is Ana! I don't think there has ever been a time in my life when I haven't had dogs, which is why I truly believe your pet deserves to be cared for like they are part of the family. I have two dogs of my own, Ziggy and Porky, who love dogs of all sizes and even cats! They are always ready to make a new friend and have some fun. If your pet is older, more independent, or simply isn't interested in playing with other dogs, that's completely okay! Ziggy and Porky are great about giving dogs their space when they need it. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while still getting the exercise, attention, and activity that's appropriate for them. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and any special needs they may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets securely leashed when needed, and make sure doors and gates are always properly closed. I also believe communication is very important, so I am happy to send updates and photos to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind while they are away.
