About: Hey there! My name is Payton. I’ve had dogs my whole life and grew to appreciate the opportunity to dog-sit while in school in St. Louis, as I wasn't able to have my own. With that, all of my love for pets can go to yours! If you have an athletic or active dog, I am the host for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash) and running the trails will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I’m the owner/chiropractor at Resilience Chiropractic & Rehab. I have tremendous flexibility in my schedule as I'm starting up my practice and would love the opportunity to spend it caring for your pets!! When visiting your home, I will make sure everything is better than when I found it. Your pet will be welcomed with a warm smile! Many snuggles, pets, and belly rubs will be shared.

About: Pet care for me started when I was 10 years old and visiting my grandma on a farm - while my sisters played Barbie’s, I played in the dirt and cared for and played with chickens, cows, goats, and all the stray farm cats. I have loved any and all animals ever since! I have never had a moment in my life where there wasn't a dog or a cat in my family and right now we have three amazing (big) dogs! I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment as if you were there. I work a full time job but with a lot of flexibility during the day. I would love to drop in and care for your pets while you are away and since I have dogs of my own, I don’t travel on the weekends much 😉 If your pet is staying with me we have a fully fenced in yard, three dogs that they can play with, and two kids who know how lovingly care for animals. If it's not a weekend, I would be able to stop by over the lunch hour to let dogs out and have some play time or might even have afternoons or mornings to work from home. Just depends on the day and I would love to schedule around your stay with us! I am always willing to listen to how you care for your pet(s) and make sure your pet(s) receives the same care and love from me that they would if you were still at home. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child. Growing up, my family had several dogs, including a Shih Tzu, two Shiba Inus, and a Newfoundland, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I also grew up with a Persian cat, whom I helped care for from a young age. These experiences taught me how to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care while adapting to each pet's unique needs. I also volunteer at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and participate in their Rescue Day Recess! I currently attend the University of South Dakota and work part-time at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week to check in on pets, take dogs for walks, provide playtime, feed them, and make sure they're happy and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some extra attention during the day, I'm committed to providing dependable, loving care that fits their routine. I have watched 2 Shiba Inus by myself for over a year and have taken care of a Newfoundland for multiple nights. Neither of the homes had a fence but I compensate by taking the dogs out multiple times a day and going for walks. I’m very familiar with taking dogs out to relieve themselves, feeding, and possible medications they might need to take. Whether the dog is energetic, like my 2 Shiba Inus, or more relaxed, like my 10 year old Newfoundland, I make it work according to their needs.

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I have done overnights, check-ins, and dog walking. I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. Otherwise I work 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to be with them before work, after work, and during lunch. I am also free most weekends. I would prefer to take care of your pet in your home since I have an apartment but if needed they can stay with me.

About: I’ve had a high maintenance dog since I was 8 years old. I have had 12 years of taking her for runs, playing with her and keeping her healthy and active! I have also always enjoyed going to local shelters to walk dogs! I am currently working part time in Sioux City. About: **Updated 5/25/24: the only pet we have at the time is an English angora rabbit who lives outside or in the garage. We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. We have an English Angora rabbit, so are experienced with rabbits and can provide drop-in service for small animals as well as dogs and cats. I work as a registered nurse very part time, and homeschool my two children. We are often home, and are not usually away from the house for more than 4-6 hours. We have a large, fenced-in yard, and are able and willing to bring your dog on walks around our neighborhood. I have two responsible children at home, ages 9 and 12, and they are experienced with dogs and have been involved with care and training. We can accommodate all kinds of needs. As a registered nurse, I am trustworthy and responsible, and am very experienced with following a care plan and providing detailed updates. I’ll be happy to send reports and pictures while you are away from your pet!

About: I was a pet care professional for 3 years at a dog daycare and boarding facility that also had an enfaces on training. I was certified in dog CPR and am trained in dog behavior and training techniques. I have had animals all my life! I'm a full-time college student with a part-time job already, but am very flexible and and can make time to help out wherever needed! I am able to fit you into my schedule! Like I said earlier I have tons of experience with animals, dogs especially, I have over 100 hours of field experience with dog training behavior, and care.

About: My significant other and I live in a house with 3 dogs. We take our dogs (who are more like our kids)on a walk in our neighborhood or fenced in backyard and let them run around at least twice a day! Our dogs are spoiled and loved as they should be! We play ball and snuggle and they sleep with us too:) We'd love to love your pet while you're away! I work part time at WagZone dog day care so I have a lot of free time for my own pups. I love walks, hikes on our land outside of time or just fetch time in the yard. Fenced in yard allows dogs to run freely all day with a dog door to a sheltered garage. My dogs get along with all other souls.
