About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: I have been a dog mama for 16 years and a dog rescue volunteer for 10+ years. In the dog rescue world I have fostered pups from puppies 6 weeks old up to 6-8 years old plus. It doesn’t make a difference what age they are, they will always be a puppy at heart and that is why I usually call them pups or puppies. I have fostered medical pups, I also had a pup of my own that was diabetic so I have had to administer insulin besides regular medications. I am good to administer any medications. I also transport for the rescue. I have been one of the main transporters for the last five years. The rescue I volunteer with accepts all breeds. So, I have had the pleasure of working with many breeds through fostering, transporting, meet and greets, fundraising and all the other jobs that we have with the rescue. It has been a privilege and honor to volunteer to help these pups. It is more like a passion some days. As for my own pups/pack, I currently have three medium to large pups. I have had 2 dashies or as most people call them doxies that were rescue pups and they lived great long lives to 14 and 15 years old. Plus I had an American Bulldog who loved life and lived to the age of nine (that darn cancer word.) My current pups are a boxer (age 8), shepherd/Husky mix (age 7), and as I call him a my Heinz 57 mix ( he has 5 breeds that make up his DNA - that is what the DNA test showed and he just turned 4 years old.) My shep/husky is the queen bee/leader of the pack (it is that husky in her) and the other two are sweethearts that are foodies all the way. Both my shepherd/Husky and my Heinz 57 pups are rescue pups that I fostered, adopted, and trained. My boxer was a re-homing situation due to having to downsize. One thing when you foster from your own home, all the foster pups are treated like one of your own pups/like family until they are adopted. So, if they are puppies they are potty trained to go outside, kennel trained, leash trained, and etc. Actually, we make sure all our pups that are adopted are kennel trained, leash trained for walks, potty trained to go outside and etc. as some of the pups we get come from commercial breeders. We just make sure they all know these things. One other note from me is some days I find it easier to just hang out with the pups than to try and communicate/socialize with people. What’s that saying they have “I’d rather be with my dog!” I work a full-time job but I will be able to check on your pup in the morning if needed and/or at my lunch hour and in the evening. We will work out a plan for a schedule. My employer/manager is very flexible and understanding. It will depend on which service(s) the client has selected; we will meet and work out a plan for the type of service(s) that is needed for your pup(s). Depending on if it is drop in care or dog walking, they are two very different services or both.

About: Hey! I’m Jada, all my life i’ve always been surrounded by animals 🐶 Taking the best care of pets is something i strive each day to accomplish! I’m very familiar with dogs & cats of all ages! In 2024 I began working in the dog training industry and have come to learn many interesting skills, some of those include; how to effectively communicate with animals, properly read body language, and build a connection with any pet! Currently, i’m working part time as an accredited dog trainer at Petsmart! I’ve been at this establishment, building my credibility and skills, for 2+ years! Properly reading a pets body language is something i’ve always been good at! About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since the age of 10. Family, and friends have trusted me to take care of their dogs for short and long periods of time. I work a part time job while taking college classes at USD. I still find time in my day to play with and care for the animals I’m trusted with. I have a crate for dogs or a comfy bed for them to sleep on. I don’t have a fenced yard but do have a long chain dogs can use on the side of the house.

About: Have been around dogs my whole life. Have taken care of my parent’s dog for 5 years. I have experience administering medications as well as assisting dogs with limited mobility. I currently work part time, but my schedule is flexible for both weekdays and weekends. I can walk your dogs, do drop in visits, or overnight stays. About: Hello I’m Kayla! I am currently a small business owner. I am a proud owner of a corgi blue heeler mix, and a GSP blue heeler mix. (Fun right?!) I’m obsessed with idea of having my fun part-time job be watching dogs! Some of my favorite things to do with my doggo are going to the dog park to play, and going on long walks. Before I dive into what I want to specialize in as a pet carer and how I can help your fur family, here is a little about myself… For most of my adult life I have been a career server. I have worked at a couple restaurants in the Sioux Falls area. I have three kids of my own and recently have decided to work from home so I can have more time this summer with them. I have always thrived working in an environment where I can build relationships with the customers and now, my furry friends! I have worked in a fast paced, task oriented, environment and enjoy staying organized and on top of my weekly schedule. We recently brought a Frenchton into our family, her name is Dolly and she has just been the best addition. But with a puppy I know first hand how often they need your attention. I have grown up around multiple breeds, sizes of dogs and have always had a couple dogs in our home. In high school and early college years I volunteered often at the local humane society and took the dogs on walks. I am available during the weekdays to let your puppers out for bathroom breaks, multiple times a day if needed (totally understand how often some young dogs need to go outside, haha!). With my work from home schedule, I am able to be flexible to what is needed for your pet on a day-to-day basis. About: I have trained and owned animals my whole life. I graduated with a veterinary assistant degree from western Iowa tech in Sioux city Iowa. Animals are my world and I love working and hanging out with them daily. I own a dog and 2 cats and love to cuddle them and train them so they can become and live their best life possible. I can give all my animals baths, exercise, positive reinforcement and love anytime they need it. I have a huge back yard and love to play with them outside too.
