About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 50 years. I have an extremely reactive pitbull named Sky, and she is a sassy stubborn girl. I have dealt with the difficulties of a reactive dog for years. I am very capable of handling just about any pup!!!! I dog sat in Colorado regularly and I am looking to bringing this experience to Sioux Falls! I have taken care of small dogs and large dogs and i have no difficulties or preferences. I work well with Seniors!!!! I currently work friday thru sunday in Sioux City as an X-ray Tech. I am home and available from monday morning thru thursday evening, every week! I have plenty of time to devote to your pet! I am available to watch pets in your home. I am also available for drop-in visits and for walks! I am able to give medicine and to feed them!

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! About: I currently have two dogs who I absolutely adore, one small breed and the other is large, both are playful and love having company over. I have an pretty flexible schedule with my full time job so I'm able to give your pets the undivided attention they deserve! I have taken care of plenty different breeds ranging from bull mastiffs all the way to chihuahuas, and of course down to fish and cats. I love being around other animals and taking care of them! Dogs have always been a passion of mine and I would love to use my passion to help others with their pets so they have one less worry while traveling or working. I work full time 8-5 with an hour lunch M-F so I am able to let dogs out during the lunch break I get. Weekends open for boarding, walks and house sitting. I don’t normally stay at clients houses overnight often as I do have a littles at home. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that love to play and run around together. I can easily crate dogs if needed as well as separate them as I have a downstairs with a gate at the steps to give the dogs a break from one another. Making sure to always respect a pets boundaries is very important in terms of building a successful, positive, and welcoming relationship between the pet and I. As a dog trainer, i acknowledge the important of mental stimulation, and physical stimulation that all dogs require in order to live a happy and healthy life, I also understand that life can be busy! Making it hard to find those little in - between moments to give your pet that little extra loving you know they need! That’s where I step in…and lend a paw 🐾😉!

About: I am a avid dog lover with a open heart and unconditional love for dogs. I have experience raising aggressive dogs and lap dogs. I am very patient with special needs dogs and dogs that need more time adapting. I love taking long walks and playing with dogs. I know dog CPR, am willing to admister oral medication, bathe your dog and brush as well. Basically, I will treat your dog like a member of my family as he/she is a member of yours. This isn't a full-time service for me, but I am willing to give 110% to taking care of your family member. I do prefer at least a 12 hour notice for any cancelation. I am also 100% committed to your directions as to how to care for your family member. My schedule is completely open to Rover services. If Rover services are needed overnight, I just ask for a 8-12 hours notice. The love for animals is always a priority in my daily routine. I live directly next to several parks and have a friendly support of my own. I love to play frisbee at the several open parks next to my home & where I run with my own dog on a leash.

This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a house with a backyard where I can comfortably host pets and provide a safe, welcoming environment. Dogs have the freedom to enjoy the backyard throughout their stay, giving them space to play, explore, and get some fresh air. I’m also able to provide walks, potty breaks, and plenty of attention to help them feel comfortable and at home. About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
