About: Hi I’m Josie! :) Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. I offer boarding, daycare, walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits with a calm, attentive, hands-on approach to care. I’m home full-time so I have a flexible schedule & can provide a safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, from high-energy breeds to more anxious or shy pups. My goal is to provide a high-quality, personalized experience where your pup is loved, engaged, and treated like family- not just watched while you’re away. Whether we’re playing in the yard, going for a walk, working on simple training, or just relaxing together, I strive to make every visit meaningful! Because I’m home throughout the day, dogs get lots of supervision, attention, outdoor time, affection, play, and enrichment. Whether your dog loves playing, exploring, relaxing in the sun, sniffing around outside, or just staying close by, I adjust their day to what makes them happiest, and I make sure to send lots of updates while doing so! :) I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, sunbathe, and play while being closely supervised. Dogs in my care are provided with toys, puzzles/sniffing games, outdoor time, water play, walks, and one-on-one interaction. My dog Ivy is very friendly, laid back, calm, and enjoys being around other dogs. She loves having another dog around to play with, relax beside, or explore with, and gets along great and is very respectful with other furry friends. 😊 I understand that trusting someone with your pet—and sometimes your home—is a big deal. You can expect reliability, clear communication, love for your pet, and respect for your space while you’re away. If I host multiple dogs, it’s only when all owners are comfortable with it and the dogs are a good fit. Otherwise, your pups will receive my full attention and care. Whether you’re heading out of town, have a busy work schedule, need care during the day, or simply want peace of mind while you’re away, I’m here to care for your dog as if they were my own. About: I have my own fur babies of 5 cats and one 16 year old dog. House is a little chaotic but loving and caring. Each animal has their own needs and I provide them with everything in the world and more. Anything that will work around my college schedule will be most beneficial. Part time jobs can be hard in this economy especially with 18 credit hours this semester. Being able to cuddle and hangout with animals while I can maintain school work sounds like a blast. Your pets are not just pets but they are your babies. I will take care of them like I take care of my own fur babies. They will become one of my fur babies while I take care of them. My pets get their medicine on time, fed on time, and always have water available. Litter boxes get cleaned regularly to keep up with odors.

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life and currently have one of my own, along with experience caring for guinea pigs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a gentler pace. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach that dogs naturally gravitate toward. I have experience administering medication, handling reactive dogs, and providing long, engaging walks tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m highly detail-oriented and committed to following your pet’s routine closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I also prioritize quick, clear communication, so you’ll always feel informed and at ease while you’re away. I work full-time from home in Sioux Falls, which allows me to provide a calm, consistent environment and give pets attention throughout the day. While I’m typically working until 6 PM Monday through Friday, I’m able to incorporate check-ins into my day as my work schedule is flexible. Before and after work, I dedicate time to walks, play, feeding, and any specific care your pet needs. My evenings are relaxed and centered around making sure pets feel comfortable, exercised, and settled. On weekends, I have more flexibility for longer walks, extra playtime, and maintaining your pet’s routine. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to maintaining your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure in their familiar environment. I’m experienced with administering medication, handling reactive dogs, and adjusting care for puppies or senior pets as needed.

About: I’m an almost empty nester who truly loves animals and am looking to fill my time doing something meaningful—caring for pets. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide house sitting, dog walking or drop-in visits as needed. I grew up surrounded by animals and have experience caring for cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and even goats. Because of that background, I’m comfortable with both small and large animals and understand that each one has its own personality and needs. I’m also a former travel club ball mom, so I completely understand how stressful it can be to make arrangements for your pets and home while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone reliable, communicative, and trustworthy taking care of your home and/ or pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. I can also bring in mail and water plants while you are away. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide regular care throughout the day. I’m able to offer in-home pet and house sitting or flexible drop-in visits while keeping pets on their normal routines and not left alone for long periods of time. I can care for smaller caged pets in my home but will care for dogs, cats etc in your home because I have pets of my own.

About: I have roughly 10 years of experience bathing, walking, feeding, and providing companionship for dogs of neighbors, friends, and family. I will create a safe, loving environment for your dog and be a happy part of your dog’s routine! I am currently working a part-time job, so I have plenty of time to prioritize your pets and offer any services you may need. I will look after your pet as if they are one of my own! I believe introductions are everything—I wouldn’t like a strange human coming into my home randomly either. So, I believe it takes time to earn an animal’s trust, but also hard work to maintain that trust. I will follow absolutely every bit of your instructions as I know each pet owner has their own preferences. Caring for pets is more than a job—it makes a difference in each pet I look after’s life. Please be assured your pet’s comfort is prioritized at all times.

Outside of pet care, I work as a speech-language pathologist for the SFSD. My work has shaped me into someone who is patient, kind, communicative, and attentive to individual needs- qualities I also bring into caring for pets. My schedule is flexible during the summer, which gives me more availability for walks, drop-ins, and select boarding requests. Once the school year begins, I’ll primarily be available during evenings, weekends, and school breaks. I live in a cozy and spacious home in Sioux Falls and can host small, calm dogs who are cat-friendly and comfortable in a new environment. For drop-ins or walks, I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always felt completely natural to me. When I was younger, I fostered puppies, and as I got older I even went through therapy dog training, where I learned unique skills in reading dog behavior, building trust, and keeping pups calm in new situations. Now I dog‑sit and love your puppies when you can’t be there. I’ve watched dogs for many of my neighbors, and they’ve been so happy with the care I give that they often recommend me to their friends and family. I’d love to meet your furry best friend next! I’m currently taking time off from working to focus on college, which allows me to treat caring for your pet as my full‑time priority. Their schedule, their needs, and their comfort come first, and I’m fully dedicated to being there for them every step of the way. In order to provide the highest level of care, I like to meet with pet owners beforehand to learn their pet’s routines, preferences, and any special needs. Once I understand their daily rhythm, I follow those routines closely to ensure consistency, comfort, and safety. My goal is always to protect and care for your pets to the best of my ability.

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! I also LOVE a good game of fetch or tug! Myself at home I have 2 wild dogs that always need to move around ;)

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: I am a avid dog lover with a open heart and unconditional love for dogs. I have experience raising aggressive dogs and lap dogs. I am very patient with special needs dogs and dogs that need more time adapting. I love taking long walks and playing with dogs. I know dog CPR, am willing to admister oral medication, bathe your dog and brush as well. Basically, I will treat your dog like a member of my family as he/she is a member of yours. This isn't a full-time service for me, but I am willing to give 110% to taking care of your family member. I do prefer at least a 12 hour notice for any cancelation. I am also 100% committed to your directions as to how to care for your family member. My schedule is completely open to Rover services. If Rover services are needed overnight, I just ask for a 8-12 hours notice. The love for animals is always a priority in my daily routine. I live directly next to several parks and have a friendly support of my own. I love to play frisbee at the several open parks next to my home & where I run with my own dog on a leash.

About: I currently have two dogs who I absolutely adore, one small breed and the other is large, both are playful and love having company over. I have an pretty flexible schedule with my full time job so I'm able to give your pets the undivided attention they deserve! I have taken care of plenty different breeds ranging from bull mastiffs all the way to chihuahuas, and of course down to fish and cats. I love being around other animals and taking care of them! Dogs have always been a passion of mine and I would love to use my passion to help others with their pets so they have one less worry while traveling or working. I work full time 8-5 with an hour lunch M-F so I am able to let dogs out during the lunch break I get. Weekends I’m usually pretty open unless previously discussed for boarding, walks and house sitting. I don’t normally stay at clients houses overnight as I do have a little one at home. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that love to play and run around together. I can easily crate dogs if needed as well as separate them as I have a downstairs with a gate at the steps to give the dogs a break from one another. I’ve dealt with all sorts of temperaments from nervous to angry and am ready to face the challenge.
