About: I’m an almost empty nester who truly loves animals and am looking to fill my time doing something meaningful. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide house sitting, dog walking or drop-in visits as needed. I grew up surrounded by animals and have experience caring for cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and even goats. Because of that background, I’m comfortable with both small and large animals and understand that each one has its own personality and needs. I’m also a former travel club ball mom, so I completely understand how stressful it can be to make arrangements for your pets and home while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone reliable, communicative, and trustworthy taking care of your home and/or pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. I can also bring in mail, bring garage to the curb and water plants while you are away. I’m able to offer in-home pet and house sitting or flexible drop-in visits while keeping pets on their normal routines and not left alone for long periods of time. I can care for smaller caged pets in my home but will care for dogs, cats etc in your home because I have pets of my own.

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home full time. This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a one-bedroom apartment where I can host pets, and I’m also able to provide walks and potty breaks. I’m flexible and always open to clear communication with owners.

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: I have my own fur babies of 5 cats and one 16 year old dog. House is a little chaotic but loving and caring. Each animal has their own needs and I provide them with everything in the world and more. Anything that will work around my college schedule will be most beneficial. Part time jobs can be hard in this economy especially with 18 credit hours this semester. Being able to cuddle and hangout with animals while I can maintain school work sounds like a blast. Your pets are not just pets but they are your babies. I will take care of them like I take care of my own fur babies. They will become one of my fur babies while I take care of them. My pets get their medicine on time, fed on time, and always have water available. Litter boxes get cleaned regularly to keep up with odors.

About: I’ve taken care of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and families have relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their dogs. I’m currently working part-time, usually from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, but sometimes I take on longer shifts. I’ll definitely keep you updated on my schedule! About: I have over 10 years of experience with dogs big or small. I’ve had 3 different dogs in my house growing up and have also volunteered at the Sioux Falls humane society. I am currently working full-time and I am on a rotating schedule so I have every other weekend, or Tuesdays and Fridays off. I am available most mornings and evenings. I care for all animals like they are my own. I enjoy giving them all of the love and attention they need. I currently have a 4 year old american bull dog mix, 2 frogs, and 5 fish. I am allergic to cats, so I will love them from afar, if needed I can feed and change litter boxes.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. I have dealt with mean, grumpy, energetic, smart, lazy and all sorts of dogs. I am patient, loving and caring for each dog. I have family and friends who have relied on me to feed, walk, bath, watch and care for their dogs while away. We have two dogs (a golden and an English Springer spaniel) in our house. They are 10 and 8. Older and would love some dogs to visit and remind them of their younger days. 🖤 I work from home Thursday and Fridays. I do work 7am to 330 am cst Monday through Wed. We have a 12 year old who also loves to give extra cuddles, pets and play times with the dogs around his school schedule. We do have one dog who loves to play. I have a fenced in yard, water dishes throughout the house and yard, a kiddie pool for dogs to play in on warmer days, leashes, treats, and more for your pet to truly feel at home!

About: I've owned pets for most of my life. Friends and family frequently ask me to watch their pets when they're away. I have experience with sitting for both cats and dogs. I'm in between jobs so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I'm free most days and am usual active in the afternoon. I will treat your pet and your home with utmost respect. I'm used to coming in and feeding, as well as walks or cleaning up litter boxes. I'll give your pets all the attention they need, but will respect their space if they don't seem willing.
