About: I have helped out many friends and family members with checking in and caring for their pets while being away. As a proud dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone reliable, trustworthy, caring, and professional to check in on your sweet pup. I currently work from home Monday through Friday, and have flexibility to go check in on pets during breaks. Weekends I also work part time, so I have extra time available to check in on pets! I will always ask for detailed instructions when having to enter your home. I want to always make sure to treat your pet with love and respect, and also be respectful to and in your home.

About: Growing up, I always had pets in my family. I know a lot about dogs and cats, how to keep them happy and healthy, and just how great of friends they can be! Now living in a Sioux Falls apartment, I am not able to have a pet of my own, which has given me a greater appreciation for any opportunity to visit and care for other people's pets! I am an Educational Assistant with Harrisburg School District. I currently have open availability for the summer and would love you spend time caring for your fur babies! I want to care for your pets just as you would care for them if you were able to be there yourself! Whatever special instructions you have, let me know!

I can easily crate your pet if needed, or give them 24/7 attention if needed. About: Hello, my name is Kindra! I got my Bachelors Degree from University of Wisconsin with a major in Wildlife Education. I am on Rover on the side because I love pets. I have cared for many dogs and cats in the past, and I currently have two cats. I have had internship and volunteer positions where I performed animal husbandry to a wide variety of animals, including reptiles and amphibians. I love all sorts of animals and want to work with more in my free time because it's what I love, and most importantly to better my skills with them. Thank you for considering me. I am employed full time, and I do 4 10-hour shifts. So, my availability for pet sitting is on my days off. Feel free to message me to see if I'm available or if you have any questions about my availability. *If your location is outside of my radius, I will charge an extra $5 per day of bookings to account for gas.* I am able to do check-ins and walks to let your pets out and play with them if needed (all animals deserve at least a little play time 😉)! I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells around the neighborhood, and just have some quality petting time!

About: I have my own fur babies of 5 cats and one 16 year old dog. House is a little chaotic but loving and caring. Each animal has their own needs and I provide them with everything in the world and more. Anything that will work around my college schedule will be most beneficial. Part time jobs can be hard in this economy especially with 18 credit hours this semester. Being able to cuddle and hangout with animals while I can maintain school work sounds like a blast. Your pets are not just pets but they are your babies. I will take care of them like I take care of my own fur babies. They will become one of my fur babies while I take care of them. My pets get their medicine on time, fed on time, and always have water available. Litter boxes get cleaned regularly to keep up with odors.

About: We love dogs! Added to our family over the years are dogs, birds, rats, guinea pigs and even chickens. Currently we have two fur babies that are calm and have many dog friends that come to visit. My husband, myself and our children play and walk our dogs everyday. We have watched family members dogs/chickens for years and welcome the opportunity to help other pets too. Our yard is large and fenced in (four foot fence). Your pet will be loved well! Our work schedule has our pets home kenneled for five hours daily. We come home and let them out during that time frame. During the summer we are home all day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed. I am comfortable with medications and schedules that are important to you. I’m available over lunch breaks, after work, and on weekends to walk & exercise your pup. I live in Tea & work in Sioux Falls. About: I've spent decades taking care of dogs and puppies. More than willing to walk and play with your pooch and do pop-ins. As for the training I do not have any certifications but both of my current dogs have general obedience and tricks as well. I have also trained my GSP personally for upland bird hunting. I am a full time teacher and also have a second job in the summer as well. This will be more if I can fit you guys into my schedule to pick up more hours in the summer. Whatever you need me to do for them I am more than happy to. I will probably not bring them over to board at my home just because I have two dogs and a cat at my house. Just safer to make sure everyone is comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I love dogs and cats all the same. I’ve had experience with large and small animals. I work from home a few days a week to give me time to check on your furry friends. I also have time in the evenings and weekends. I have a fenced in yard and years of walking experience. Im comfortable with all animal sizes. I currently have a lovely cat named Jerome! My schedule is flexible and it helps me be available to assist in all your pet care needs and to bond with your furry friends. I work from home a few days a week to allow for time to drop in or work remotely. Weekends and evening are available given proper scheduling. I’m respectful and thoughtful about animal care and the homes of those I visit. I’ve had the opportunity to do multiple overnight stays and feel comfortable and confident in keeping both a safe environment for your pet and leaving your house exactly how you left it.

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
