I love to snuggle with animals to establish safety and trust. My cat has her own cat tree that she loves as well.

About: Animals have always been part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I grew up in a home full of pets and now have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your animals while you’re away. Outside of pet care, I work as a speech-language pathologist for the SFSD. My work has shaped me into someone who is patient, kind, communicative, and attentive to individual needs- qualities I also bring into caring for pets. My schedule is flexible during the summer, which gives me more availability for walks, drop-ins, and select boarding requests. Once the school year begins, I’ll primarily be available during evenings, weekends, and school breaks. I live in a cozy and spacious home in Sioux Falls and can host small, calm dogs who are cat-friendly and comfortable in a new environment. For drop-ins or walks, I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

If you choose to work with me it will be a great experience for your K-9 and for you too! I will be available for boarding on weekends, and available early mornings and evenings, 7 days a week. Under special circumstances I may be able to expand my availability for boarding to weekdays, but only after building rapport for an agreeable period of time. About: Is the thought of leaving your dog in a boarding facility with strangers where they won’t get one on one attention causing you grief? Working from home means I’m here all day to give your pup the attention they deserve, and they will be treated like family. With two Chihuahuas and a Shiba Inu of my own, I’ve got plenty of experience with little dogs—including the “spicy” ones that not everyone has patience for. We love the yappers and nappers in this house! Here’s what your dog can expect: • Safe playtime in a fully fenced-in backyard • Lots of love and snuggles • Flexible care to match their routine (feeding, potty breaks, meds if needed) • Updates galore with photos and videos so you know they’re happy I specialize in caring for small to medium sized dogs, just like my own, and can separate pups from mine as needed depending on temperament. Big dogs are great, but this daycare is designed for the little ones! 🐶 If you’ve got a small pup who needs a safe, loving place to spend the day (or night!), I’d love to welcome them into my home. I work remotely from home, so my schedule for pet care is somewhat flexible. For daycare in my home, I do not take more than two dogs at a time as I want to be sure both my dogs and your dogs are getting sufficient attention. I’m very open to quick drop-in visits for feeding and potty breaks at your home as needed during the day and early evening. I have two Chihuahuas and a Shiba Inu, and they’re definitely spoiled! Since I work from home, they get lots of attention, playtime in the backyard every few hours, and plenty of evening snuggles. On nice days, we take the younger pups for leashed walks. My oldest dog is recently disabled, so I’m experienced with giving extra care like carrying her outside, assisting with walking, helping with potty breaks, and administering medication daily. We don’t have kids, so our dogs truly are our babies. Any dog staying with us will get the same love and care. Our multi-level home also makes it easy to separate dogs if needed, depending on temperament. I’m very communicative and will send as many photo and video updates as you’d like so you always feel connected.

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

I have 4 pups and 1 cat of my own, with ages ranging from 6 months to 9 years, so I am comfortable with any age! I know the daily Tasks and care that come with caring for a senior pup. I currently participate in FastCat, Barn hunt, confirmation, and grooming competitions with some of my pups. I love traveling and keeping happy with my dogs! I am comfortable taking care of any size dog or cat 😊 I do also have experience in caring for a small animals, animals and reptiles I am a professional pet groomer, so I get to spend my entire day with wonderful dogs! I am not able to currently offer in home boarding or overnight stays. I would love to spend time with your fur kiddos while you are away or at work I am currently able to offer boarding in my home for dogs that are comfortable around both dogs and cats. When I visit your home I will be clean and tidy and clean up any messes that are needed
