About: I hope your dog likes Vizslas! Kill two birds with one stone by letting them socialize while I care for them. Got an energetic pup? I’m a distance runner! I’ll take them running with me and return them to you tired and happy! I just moved to the area, can be very flexible with time, and would love to meet the local dog lovers and help them out as we all need a pet sitter here and there! About: We love dogs! Added to our family over the years are dogs, birds, rats, guinea pigs and even chickens. Currently we have two fur babies that are calm and have many dog friends that come to visit. My husband, myself and our children play and walk our dogs everyday. We have watched family members dogs/chickens for years and welcome the opportunity to help other pets too. Our yard is large and fenced in (four foot fence). Your pet will be loved well! Our work schedule has our pets home kenneled for five hours daily. We come home and let them out during that time frame. During the summer we are home all day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed. I am comfortable with medications and schedules that are important to you. I look forward to meeting your family members!

About: I love animals, being around them playing with them and making them feel as if they were at there own home, and making sure they are happy and comfortable. I’m a stay at home mom, I bring my daughter on walks and sometimes go to the park, we like to stay home sometimes and just chill out on colder days. I like to play with dogs and my baby loves the company of dogs, I can crate them when needed if that’s how you do things, I’d keep them on there schedule that they would normally have at home.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for years and have worked at multiple dog boarding/daycare facilities. I have also had e-collar and dog behavior training. I currently work a full time job at a dog daycare and boarding facility and want to use my experience to be of more help to pet parents. I work full-time from home in Sioux Falls, which allows me to provide a calm, consistent environment and give pets attention throughout the day. While I’m typically working until 6 PM Monday through Friday, I’m able to incorporate check-ins into my day as my work schedule is flexible. Before and after work, I dedicate time to walks, play, feeding, and any specific care your pet needs. My evenings are relaxed and centered around making sure pets feel comfortable, exercised, and settled. On weekends, I have more flexibility for longer walks, extra playtime, and maintaining your pet’s routine. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to maintaining your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure in their familiar environment. I’m experienced with administering medication, handling reactive dogs, and adjusting care for puppies or senior pets as needed.

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: Pet care for me started when I was 10 years old and visiting my grandma on a farm - while my sisters played Barbie’s, I played in the dirt and cared for and played with chickens, cows, goats, and all the stray farm cats. I have loved any and all animals ever since! I have never had a moment in my life where there wasn't a dog or a cat in my family and right now we have three amazing (big) dogs! I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment as if you were there. I work a full time job but with a lot of flexibility during the day. I would love to drop in and care for your pets while you are away and since I have dogs of my own, I don’t travel on the weekends much 😉 If your pet is staying with me we have a fully fenced in yard, three dogs that they can play with, and two kids who know how lovingly care for animals. If it's not a weekend, I would be able to stop by over the lunch hour to let dogs out and have some play time or might even have afternoons or mornings to work from home. Just depends on the day and I would love to schedule around your stay with us! I am always willing to listen to how you care for your pet(s) and make sure your pet(s) receives the same care and love from me that they would if you were still at home. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so they’ve always been a big part of my world! My family dogs had a few litters over the years, which taught me a lot about caring for both puppies and their mamas. Now I have a pup of my own, and I absolutely love being a dog mom! I work during the week, but I’m always around to help out on weekends if I’m in town! I’m also totally open to jumping in after work whenever needed! I’ll care for your pet like they’re my own! I have a sweet dog who absolutely loves other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in buddy while you’re away if they need!

About: I've spent decades taking care of dogs and puppies. More than willing to walk and play with your pooch and do pop-ins. As for the training I do not have any certifications but both of my current dogs have general obedience and tricks as well. I have also trained my GSP personally for upland bird hunting. I am a full time teacher and also have a second job in the summer as well. This will be more if I can fit you guys into my schedule to pick up more hours in the summer. Whatever you need me to do for them I am more than happy to. I will probably not bring them over to board at my home just because I have two dogs and a cat at my house. Just safer to make sure everyone is comfortable.
