Safety, trust & environment
I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and cared for when their owners are away. I take the time to understand each animal’s needs, build a connection, and create a space where they feel relaxed and loved—just like I would with my own pets.

Information Sheila H. would like to know about your pet
How would you describe their personality? (Are they energetic, shy, affectionate, or independent? This helps me understand their behavior and needs.) Does your pet have any special needs or unique habits I should know about? (This could include anxiety, sensitivities, or medical requirements.) Are there any daily routines your pet follows that should stay consistent? (Things like meal times, walks, or bedtime habits can help keep them comfortable.) What commands does your pet know and respond to? (This helps me reinforce training and communication.) Are there any areas in your home where your pet isn’t allowed? (This allows me to avoid trouble areas or accidents.) What’s the best way to calm them down if they’re stressed or anxious? (Knowing this can help me provide comfort when needed.)
A typical day
Whether your pet needs playtime like fetch or tug of war, cuddles, long walks, or extra care, I’ll treat them like my own. I know how important it is to have someone you trust watching over your furry (or scaly!) family members, and I’d love to be that person for you. Looking forward to meeting your beloved pets!

Caring & Reliable
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Sheila! I’ve been caring for animals since I was a child with experience ranging from dogs and cats to salamanders, turtles, and even a bit with birds. I've always had a critter near and dear throughout my life as a result! I’ve cared for a variety of dog breeds, including Great Pyrenees, German Shepherds, Jack Russell Terriers, Shi-Poos, Pitbulls, Aussies, Labs, and Retrievers—you name it! I’m experienced with puppies, having raised plenty, and I also have a soft spot for senior pets, including those needing medication and special care for conditions like seizures.
Reviews

Newton absolutely loved his walk this morning. Think the warmer weather wears him out but he loves his walks with you.

Thank you for always spending time with Dakota and Newton

What a wonderful new side to Newton can be seen by his excitement of when you show up and how eager he is to go for his walk .

Sheila went above and beyond with my two pups. It's nice to know you can go away and know they are taken care of. She is not only great with the dogs she is respectful of your home and schedules you have. She leaves detailed notes and her communication is great!
