I am used to any fur babies that need medication or have strict medication schedules since I’ve had a cat with CHF. About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.

I know dog CPR, am willing to admister oral medication, bathe your dog and brush as well. Basically, I will treat your dog like a member of my family as he/she is a member of yours. This isn't a full-time service for me, but I am willing to give 110% to taking care of your family member. I do prefer at least a 12 hour notice for any cancelation. I am also 100% committed to your directions as to how to care for your family member. My schedule is completely open to Rover services. If Rover services are needed overnight, I just ask for a 8-12 hours notice. The love for animals is always a priority in my daily routine. I live directly next to several parks and have a friendly support of my own. I love to play frisbee at the several open parks next to my home & where I run with my own dog on a leash.
About: I currently have two dogs who I absolutely adore, one small breed and the other is large, both are playful and love having company over. I have an pretty flexible schedule with my full time job so I'm able to give your pets the undivided attention they deserve! I have taken care of plenty different breeds ranging from bull mastiffs all the way to chihuahuas, and of course down to fish and cats. I love being around other animals and taking care of them! Dogs have always been a passion of mine and I would love to use my passion to help others with their pets so they have one less worry while traveling or working. I work full time 8-5 with an hour lunch M-F so I am able to let dogs out during the lunch break I get. Weekends I’m usually pretty open unless previously discussed for boarding, walks and house sitting. I don’t normally stay at clients houses overnight as I do have a little one at home. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that love to play and run around together. I can easily crate dogs if needed as well as separate them as I have a downstairs with a gate at the steps to give the dogs a break from one another. I’ve dealt with all sorts of temperaments from nervous to angry and am ready to face the challenge.
About: Animals have always been part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I grew up in a home full of pets and now have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your animals while you’re away. Outside of pet care, I work as a speech-language pathologist for the SFSD. My work has shaped me into someone who is patient, kind, communicative, and attentive to individual needs- qualities I also bring into caring for pets. My schedule is flexible during the summer, which gives me more availability for walks, drop-ins, and select boarding requests. Once the school year begins, I’ll primarily be available during evenings, weekends, and school breaks. I live in a cozy and spacious home in Sioux Falls and can host small, calm dogs who are cat-friendly and comfortable in a new environment. For drop-ins or walks, I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

I have 4 pups and 1 cat of my own, with ages ranging from 6 months to 9 years, so I am comfortable with any age! I know the daily Tasks and care that come with caring for a senior pup.
