“Lori sat with my cat for 6 days in March 2026. She was very attuned to my cat's needs. She assured me that she would keep my cat's routine to minimize his stress while I was away. The pictures I received from Lori while I was gone showed my cat doing "his normal," and he appeared calm and content. My cat even slept with her one night, as he would have done if I were home! Lori is "pet approved"! Lori left my house as clean as the day I left (even starting the dishwasher), handled a delivery for me, and the most important, graciously stayed an extra night when my flight home got cancelled and I could not get back prior to the end of the scheduled booking! About: I grew up on a farm and always had dogs and cats growing up. Friends have trusted me with caring for their dogs multiples times. It is always exciting to meet other pets! Excited to meet your furry friend! I have a full time job working 7:30-4 on weekdays. But am flexible in the evenings depending on the time of year with other activities I have going on I like to spend time with your pet so they can become friendly with me and not scared. I like to make sure they have fun during my time with them!

I have kind of a strange schedule with school so some weeks I am more open than others. I sometimes have mornings open and sometimes later in the afternoon. I am usually always free though after 5 and have a lot of weekends open. My two cats are truly part of my family, and they are definitely spoiled! They get plenty of love, playtime, enrichment, and cuddles every day, and I always make sure they’re happy, healthy, and comfortable. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
