About: I grew up on a farm and always had dogs and cats growing up. Friends have trusted me with caring for their dogs multiples times. It is always exciting to meet other pets! Excited to meet your furry friend! I have a full time job working 7:30-4 on weekdays. But am flexible in the evenings depending on the time of year with other activities I have going on I like to spend time with your pet so they can become friendly with me and not scared. I like to make sure they have fun during my time with them!

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 50 years. I have an extremely reactive pitbull named Sky, and she is a sassy stubborn girl. I have dealt with the difficulties of a reactive dog for years. I am very capable of handling just about any pup!!!! I dog sat in Colorado regularly and I am looking to bringing this experience to Sioux Falls! I have taken care of small dogs and large dogs and i have no difficulties or preferences. I work well with Seniors!!!! I currently work friday thru sunday in Sioux City as an X-ray Tech. I am home and available from monday morning thru thursday evening, every week! I have plenty of time to devote to your pet! I am available to watch pets in your home. I am also available for drop-in visits and for walks! I am able to give medicine and to feed them!
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has never known life without pets. Being around animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. After high school, I worked at a dog grooming salon for about a year, where I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m also currently in nursing school, so providing compassionate, dependable care and paying close attention to details comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and will always follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible. At home, I’m a proud cat mom to two very spoiled kitties, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own by giving them plenty of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles. I know being away from your pet can be stressful, so I’ll make sure to keep you updated with regular messages and lots of photos! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I have kind of a strange schedule with school so some weeks I am more open than others. I sometimes have mornings open and sometimes later in the afternoon. I am usually always free though after 5 and have a lot of weekends open. My two cats are truly part of my family, and they are definitely spoiled! They get plenty of love, playtime, enrichment, and cuddles every day, and I always make sure they’re happy, healthy, and comfortable. I pay close attention to their routines and personalities, because I know every cat is different. I’ll care for your pets with the same patience, love, and attention that I give my own.
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

I’m able to check in and complete my tasks bright and early and/or in the evenings if needed. I live in a house; your cats will have free roam upstairs. No human food or plants/flowers will be left out when I board at my house. For daily/other visits: I will come during an agreed timeframe and complete my tasks in the conforms of your own home.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
