About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! I also LOVE a good game of fetch or tug! Myself at home I have 2 wild dogs that always need to move around ;)

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and potty their pets! I also volunteer at the local Sioux Falls humane society walking shelter pups! I would love to take care of yours too :) I am currently a Registered Nurse at Sanford Hospital. Although I work 12 hour shifts when I work, it gives me more days off in the week to be able to take care of your pets! In your home I will follow your specific care instructions to ensure your pet feels as normal as possible with your absence. I will play and walk with your pup to burn some energy. I will feed them when instructed and let them out to go to the bathroom every few hours or when needed. Most importantly, I will love your pet as my own and give them a lot of snuggles and pets!

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I have done overnights, check-ins, and dog walking. I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. Otherwise I work 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to be with them before work, after work, and during lunch. I am also free most weekends. I would prefer to take care of your pet in your home since I have an apartment but if needed they can stay with me.

About: **Updated 5/25/24: the only pet we have at the time is an English angora rabbit who lives outside or in the garage. We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. We have an English Angora rabbit, so are experienced with rabbits and can provide drop-in service for small animals as well as dogs and cats. I work as a registered nurse very part time, and homeschool my two children. We are often home, and are not usually away from the house for more than 4-6 hours. We have a large, fenced-in yard, and are able and willing to bring your dog on walks around our neighborhood. I have two responsible children at home, ages 9 and 12, and they are experienced with dogs and have been involved with care and training. We can accommodate all kinds of needs. As a registered nurse, I am trustworthy and responsible, and am very experienced with following a care plan and providing detailed updates. I follow any guidelines left by the dogs' person to take care of them and keep them on a routine so they are as stress free and safe as possible.

About: Growing up, I’ve always loved and cared for dogs. Now that I have my own, I understand the feeling of having someone care for them the way you do. I work a full-time job from Monday to Thursday, and sometimes I have mandatory Fridays. However, I’m more than happy to assist on weekends or weekdays after 5 PM, and I’m also available on Fridays if my work schedule allows. I reside in an apartment, but I thoroughly enjoy taking them for daily walks and visits to the dog park, every day, other day, depending on my schedule.

About: I’ve taken care of and loved many different dogs my whole life! I had dogsat for my family, friends, my nanny family, and rover for over 5 years! I currently nanny a few days out of the week, so my schedule is normally pretty flexible! I also don’t have any dogs of my own, which makes boarding at my home very easy! Making sure dog is trained, or if not yet, making sure I have a leash or fence when letting dog out! Keeping a good eye too!
