“Larysa was so kind, patient, attentive to my pet. She and her husband are both caring people, have a clean, calm home, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them and their dog. I will book again with her.”

“Jayne and her family took such good care of our puppy! He came home absolutely exhausted from all the fun :) She had great communication and was flexible to meet our needs. I would highly recommend Jayne!”

“We highly recommend Anna! She sent pictures and updates so we knew our dog was happy and safe. Our dog warmed up to her family quickly and had a great stay. We will definitely be booking with Anna again in the future!”
“We’re so grateful for how amazing Melissa and her family were with our pup! She sent tons of photos and videos that really put our minds at ease while we were away since this was our first time boarding her. It was clear our pup was having an absolute blast and lots of playtime, cuddles, and tail wags! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you so much for treating our dog like one of your own! 💕”

“Hazel and Stella had a great stay with Krysten and her family. We appreciated the pictures and updates she sent. We’d definitely have our girls stay with them in the future!”

“Lauren was very flexible with pick up and drop of times. She sent videos and photos with updates. Pendleton had a great time and was definitely tired after having 2 nights of fun!!! I would highly recommend! The next time I need boarding in Sioux Falls I will definitely try booking with them again!!”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing. She watched our puppy over a long weekend and provided lots of updates, photos and videos! She also offered a meet and greet prior to watching her, which was very appreciated:) We will definitely book with her again next time our pup needs a sitter!”

“I had a great experience! My dog can be a bit anxious (and he’s a big boy), but he was so well cared for and clearly felt comfortable. It gave me peace of mind knowing they’ve handled an English Mastiff before. I loved the daily updates and photos, and he got plenty of outdoor time which he loves. He came home happy and completely tuckered out. I'd absolutely book again!”

“Zach has watched our highly anxious dog twice now and he has done such a great job both times!! We can enjoy our vacations knowing our dog is in such great hands with Zach!”

“Jamie was great! Super responsive and easy to work with. Our dog seemed to love it there and we will definitely be going back. The cute pictures and updates were fun too especially since this was our first visit with her - 5+ stars”

“Amy is very pleasant and responded in a timely manner to messages. Rori was well taken care of and in good spirits when we picked her up. I would be very comfortable leaving her with Amy and Trevor again.”
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
“Thank you so much for being available on short notice and for all the great pictures of our pups! I am so sorry that Stevie got into the potatoes and toilet paper. I really appreciate you!!”

“Karissa is an extra special sitter! She has watched our dog several times now over the course of a few years. She is so great with him and he loves spending time with her and her sweet pup, Riya! He gets so excited to go to her house, and comes home well loved and ready for a good nap after a fun week of playtime. I highly recommend Karissa, she is the best and her care means so much to our little family!”

“I left them with my cat for almost 3 weeks. They were very patient with my crazy requests and super sweet to my kitty! They left lots of pics and detailed notes for each visit.”

About: Hi there! My name is Allyson and I’ve been caring for animals as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, where I looked after our family dogs and barn cats, so animals have always been a big part of my life! During college, I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding center, where I gained hands-on experience supervising play groups, feeding, and keeping pups happy and safe. I also worked at a veterinary office, assisting with the kennel area. There I helped with daily care like feeding, walking, cleaning, and administering medications as needed. In addition to this, I’ve often pet sat for family members’ dogs, giving them plenty of love, exercise, and attention while their owners were away. I’m currently working an 8-5, but I will be available most weekends. On the weekdays I will be available after 5 PM to help how you need! I follow your instructions carefully to keep pets safe and comfortable in their own home. I make sure doors and gates are secure, walks are safe, and pets stick to their normal routine. I’ll give them plenty of love, playtime, and attention while also keeping your home tidy.
“Thea did an excellent job, with notes and pictures that made us happy to see someone caring for our dogs so well! She is very thorough and we would definitely recommend!”

“Olivia was fantastic! She sent daily pictures, thorough updates and cleaned up any messes my cats made. She is so sweet and genuine. It’s always a little nerve wracking trying a new sitter for your animals but she made me feel at ease right away and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Rowan stopped by before I left and was so perfectly gentle with Greta, showing she understands cats well. She was respectful of our condo's fanatical parking rules, and I loved getting a new picture every night. When I got home, Greta's feeder and water were full, and the litterbox was clean! I felt Greta was in good hands with Rowan, and she will be my first choice next time I gotta get out of town.”

“If dogs could leave Yelp reviews, Braden and Grace would have a flawless 5-star rating. These two will drop what they’re doing at a moment’s notice to spoil your furry family member like royalty. Expect happy tails, extra treats, and your dog seriously considering whether it even wants you to come back!”

“I'm a newbie here on Rover, so I was nervous to try it out. Jessica made the whole experience amazing! She was clear with details and communication, shared photos every day of my babies, and gave them so much love and attention while I was traveling. Thanks, Jessica! I'll definitely book again. :)”

“Missy did a fantastic job checking on my cat! Cleaned his litter and played with him so he got some interaction while I was away. She was great at communicating and made the whole process very easy. Highly recommend!”

“Trudy was timely and professional, spent time playing with/petting my cats while I was away! It is nice to have somebody give them human interaction rather than a stop and go. Would book again!”

“Great dog watcher! She was very communicative and even helped out with the storm coming. Marley can be challenging so she was very patient with her. Thank you so much Jackie hope to have you back in the future!!”

“Brittany did a wonderful job watching our two cats. We have a cat who gets anxious when we leave and tends to pee on furniture or clothes if we are gone more than a day or two. We were gone for five days and there were no such incidents thanks to Brittany’s attentive care. Our animals seemed happy and content as if we hadn’t left at all, and it was such a relief to come home to relaxed animals in a clean home. 10/10, thank you Brittany!”

“Id highly recommend Anna ! I appreciate how she kept in good contact about my cat during my vacation; and she maintained my apartment perfectly while I was gone. She gives off nothing but a positive vibe 🙂”

“Espiranza was amazing! I got phots everyday while I was gone. My 2 cats looked so happy. I could tell they loved their stay. When I picked my babies up everything was organized and clean. My cats are healthy! Next time I go out of town I hope I can bring my cats back! I definitely suggest booking her ☺️”

“Kari was wonderful. Kitty enjoyed seeing and playing with Kari. It was very comforting to see the daily pictures of kitty having a good time, just knowing she was in good hands helped make my vacation easier to enjoy.”

About: My husband and I both love dogs and have one of our own, a black lab/blue heeler mix who keeps us active and entertained! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and truly enjoy being around them🥰 I also work remotely, which means I’m home all day and able to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care while their owners are away! Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day and able to give dogs lots of attention🥰 Walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my routine I only take up to 2 dogs per day to keep things calm, comfortable, and low-stress for everyone. I treat every dog like family and work from home, so they get plenty of attention and supervision! My home is clean, pet-friendly, with a large fenced yard for safe playtime, and I always follow each dog’s routine to help them feel at ease🙂
“Penny thoroughly enjoyed her time, we will definitely be seeing Espiranza again in the near future! She is very kind, and responds quick to Messages. I also enjoyed getting several pictures and videos throughout the day.”

About: I have been dog sitting and babysitting for as long as I can remember! I come from a small town, so I spent lots of time going to neighbors’ houses and letting them out while they went on vacation. I have watched pets ranging from the ages 4 months to 16 years. I know how to properly give them medication, groom them, play with them, and much more. I currently am working part time as a receptionist currently, but am in search of a SAH position so I will be home a lot. My schedule is very flexible and I would love to care for your furry friends! I live in a neighborhood near an off-leash dog park that my dog loves to spend time at. I like to take my dog to lakes to go swimming as well, if yours enjoys the water! We have a lot of open space in our home for the dogs to run and play, as well as toys!
About: Hi I’m Josie! :) Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. I offer boarding, daycare, walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits with a calm, attentive, hands-on approach to care. I’m home full-time so I have an extremely flexible schedule & provide a safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly at ease. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure each dog feels understood, cared for, comfortable, and loved when in my care. Because I’m home throughout the day, dogs get lots of supervision, attention, outdoor time, affection, play, and enrichment. I love creating a fun but calm environment where dogs will get mental stimulation and interaction tailored to their personality and energy level. Whether your dog loves playing, exploring, relaxing in the sun, sniffing around outside, or just staying close by, I adjust their day to what makes them happiest, and I make sure to send lots of updates while doing so! :) I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, sunbathe, and play while being closely supervised. Dogs in my care are provided with toys, puzzles/sniffing games, outdoor time, water play, walks, and one-on-one interaction. My dog Ivy is very friendly, laid back, calm, and enjoys being around other dogs. She loves having another dog around to play with, relax beside, or explore with, and gets along great and is very respectful with other furry friends. 😊 Dogs are welcome on furniture and beds if that’s what they’re accustomed to, and my home is a calm, quiet environment with no children present, allowing them to feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Whether you’re heading out of town, have a busy work schedule, need care during the day, or simply want peace of mind while you’re away, I’m here to care for your dog as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for every step of the way. Your pup’s safety and wellbeing are my #1 priority! Please feel free to message me if you’d like to set up a meet and greet, book a service, or if you have any questions about my care. 🐾
About: I have been a dog owner and lover for most of my life. I currently do not have a dog in the home, so I can focus full-time on your furry family members. I have a lot of experience with pit blends, as well as small dogs. I work freelance from home, and currently have plenty of time to spend giving scritches and going out to play. I am also a runner, and would love to take any dogs with me who love to run. We have a fenced in yard, and a dog room in our basement for naps. We also have a couch in the main living area that's just for dogs, but they are also welcome to sit on our couch or in our recliner chair. We live very close to the bike trail and several parks, and walking distance to the downtown dog park. I also have a dog-safe car for trips to Spencer or Family Dog Park or special trips to The Splash Bark.
About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.
About: Our entire family loves dogs and pets. We love to welcome new friends to our house! My children love to be around other dogs and help out. We work from home and homeschool our children so someone is always around to care for your pet. Our schedule allows for plenty of potty breaks, play time and walks. We make sure to maintain a clean and safe environment for your pet. We provide attentive, reliable care for pets in our home, making them feel comfortable and safe. We have a fenced in backyard where your pets can roam free.
“Anna and her family are great! We used her daycare services while we had some work being done at our house and she was super flexible when we needed to adjust days last minute. Anna takes such good care of our pup, I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.
About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well
“Oliver loved being at Lauren and Corey’s house. They took great care of him and made our first experience with Rover wonderful. We will definitely be contacting them again when we need care for him in the future.”

“Oh my gosh... If I could leave more stars, I would! River had the best time playing with Onyx and running amuck with Michael all day ♡ I dropped her off and she was immediately best friends with them both... picked her up as the happiest pup in the world! We highly recommend Michael for doggy day care ♡”

“Mattie had a great visit with my rambunctious little guy. She is timely, very kind, and has good control. Luke very much enjoys her, and he looked for her after she left.”

“Olivia had great communication and offered to help with short notice. It was so nice knowing we could leave for a long period of time and Baxter was taken care of! She took him for a walk and made sure he had fresh water after. Love all the pictures! I will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Ashley rocks. Not only did she get Stella a lot of miles, she also noticed when Stella was agitated, figured out that her dog door was stuck, and fixed it. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Braden and Grace did a wonderful job and went above and beyond in taking care of my pup while away I was away for 7 days. Much appreciated and would definitely request them again in the future. :)”

About: Pet care for me started when I was 10 years old and visiting my grandma on a farm - while my sisters played Barbie’s, I played in the dirt and cared for and played with chickens, cows, goats, and all the stray farm cats. I have loved any and all animals ever since! I have never had a moment in my life where there wasn't a dog or a cat in my family and right now we have three amazing (big) dogs! I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment as if you were there. I work a full time job but with a lot of flexibility during the day. I would love to drop in and care for your pets while you are away and since I have dogs of my own, I don’t travel on the weekends much 😉 If your pet is staying with me we have a fully fenced in yard, three dogs that they can play with, and two kids who know how lovingly care for animals. If it's not a weekend, I would be able to stop by over the lunch hour to let dogs out and have some play time or might even have afternoons or mornings to work from home. Just depends on the day and I would love to schedule around your stay with us! I am always willing to listen to how you care for your pet(s) and make sure your pet(s) receives the same care and love from me that they would if you were still at home. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and love them to death! I enjoy caring for animals or even just keeping them entertained while their humans are away! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work in healthcare, so I value responsibility, reliability, and keeping a consistent schedule. On my days off and outside of work hours, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks.I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their pet’s routine and needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or just some extra company, I make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I always make sure to follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and any special needs they may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets securely leashed when needed, and make sure doors and gates are always properly closed. I also believe communication is very important, so I am happy to send updates and photos to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind while they are away.

I have experience in training puppies with basic commands like sit and stay. And I would to walk your furry friend! I am currently a full time student, but I would love to be able to take a break from studying to take your dog on a walk! I am most available in the mornings everyday this summer! I would also be available on some weekends. I cannot have pets at my current apartment, but I would be able to go to my clients home if needed to take care of their dog.

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently working part time with a very flexible schedule so I'll always have time to care. I'm also almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.
About: With 10 years of experience through our own family pets, I bring an understanding for dogs large or small and personalities. I approach each visit with attentiveness to your pets needs while striving to provide a safe and comforting environment where your pet feels secure and loved while you're away. I am self-employed and work from home. My schedule can be flexible allowing me to engage with your pet and get some sunshine! During busy/peak times, my availability can change. My husband and three children (ages from 14-2) are friendly with dogs, we have a fully fenced in back yard, and a nice walkable neighborhood to ensure your pet gets lots of play time! We can crate your pet if needed be.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of many breeds, giving me extensive experience with animals of different temperaments. I truly love all animals and enjoy caring for each one like my own. I also have a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I am currently a part-time online college student, so my class schedule is completely flexible! I also work part time at the hospital, but am able to create my own schedule. I will easily be able to fit your pet’s needs into my day and can rearrange my routine if necessary! Although I would prefer to care for your pets in your own home, I am willing to board at my house as well. I have a decent sized side yard, and I live in a very walkable neighborhood. I own two cats, both of which are comfortable around dogs.
About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember and have always played an active part in taking care of them. This includes watching and caring for not only my households dogs but also for neighbors and friends! Over the course of my life I have cared for dogs many types of dogs including those with special needs, escape artist and very energetic dogs. I will be there for whatever your pet may need! I have a pretty flexible schedule and can work your pets needs in pretty seamlessly! I do work most days but am off early in the afternoon to have plenty of puppy play time! I have a partially fenced in yard and tie out leashes for your pups safety. I also have a dog who is an escape artist myself and know how to properly protect against escapes!

“Larysa was so kind, patient, attentive to my pet. She and her husband are both caring people, have a clean, calm home, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them and their dog. I will book again with her.”

“We highly recommend Anna! She sent pictures and updates so we knew our dog was happy and safe. Our dog warmed up to her family quickly and had a great stay. We will definitely be booking with Anna again in the future!”

“Braden and Grace were both easy and pleasant to work with. Communication was timely and easy, they were very accommodating with the pet sitting arrangement (I blew a tire and ended up being late to arrive, which they were patient and kind about), and my dog Winnie seemed to enjoy her time there in a safe and comfortable home :)”

“Justin was the best! My dog has severe separation anxiety and Justin made sure he was well monitored and accommodating to his special needs. He was even accommodating our delayed flights. I cannot recommend Justin enough and will be sure to use him again in the future.”

“Amy is very pleasant and responded in a timely manner to messages. Rori was well taken care of and in good spirits when we picked her up. I would be very comfortable leaving her with Amy and Trevor again.”

“We love MiKayla! She kept us updated on our dog's stay with her (and sent pics) which allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worry. Will definitely use again : ) Thanks MiKayla!!!”

“This was our first time booking with Melissa and our dog would be there 9 days!! She was very welcoming and took great care of our dog. She sent me daily updates, pictures and videos. Our dog got along great with her two dogs. I would highly recommend boarding with Melissa!!”
