“Lori sat with my cat for 6 days in March 2026. She was very attuned to my cat's needs. She assured me that she would keep my cat's routine to minimize his stress while I was away. The pictures I received from Lori while I was gone showed my cat doing "his normal," and he appeared calm and content. My cat even slept with her one night, as he would have done if I were home! Lori is "pet approved"! Lori left my house as clean as the day I left (even starting the dishwasher), handled a delivery for me, and the most important, graciously stayed an extra night when my flight home got cancelled and I could not get back prior to the end of the scheduled booking! About: I had dogs and cats my entire life. From adoption and rescue, I have spent my entire life around pets. I started dog sitting for friend and family before I could even drive, sometimes taking care of 4 dogs and cats for multiple nights. I am currently working part time at my college. Working in the day so I have time to play with your pups in the afternoon. On weekends I hang out with friends when I have plans, but other than that I am open. When I am at your home, I will follow your rules for your pets, whatever they may be. I can crate them if you need, work on training, take them for walks, and give them lots and lots of pets so they know they are loved.

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and potty their pets! I also volunteer at the local Sioux Falls humane society walking shelter pups! I would love to take care of yours too :) I am currently a Registered Nurse at Sanford Hospital. Although I work 12 hour shifts when I work, it gives me more days off in the week to be able to take care of your pets! In your home I will follow your specific care instructions to ensure your pet feels as normal as possible with your absence. I will play and walk with your pup to burn some energy. I will feed them when instructed and let them out to go to the bathroom every few hours or when needed. Most importantly, I will love your pet as my own and give them a lot of snuggles and pets!

About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.

Pet care fits easily into my daily routine since I already care for my own dog and cat. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the week. I provide a safe, calm, and trustworthy environment for pets. I follow owner instructions closely and make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I also have a fenced-in yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company, and I can easily crate dogs if needed.

About: While I don’t have any pets right now, I would love to adore your fur baby while you’re away. They will not be lacking, snuggles, attention, walks, and praise. I work full-time in southern Sioux Falls but have a very flexible schedule to come home to check on and care for your fur babies during the weekdays. In the evenings and on weekends, I am home. Every other week I have my three kids ranging from 11 to 17 who also love pets! I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals, and quite frankly, a house doesn't feel like a home without a wagging tail or a soft purr. Since I don't have any pets of my own right now, your fur-baby becomes my absolute world the moment they walk through the door. Whether we’re exploring the quiet neighborhood on a long walk, playing a high-energy game of fetch in my large fenced-in backyard, or just enjoying some quality 'couch time,' I promise to shower them with the same love and devotion I’d give my own. From playful kittens to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and medication, I’m here to provide a safe, calm, and incredibly loving sanctuary for your best fur friend.

About: Get your pup watched and played with letting you have a day not worrying, i’ve been around dogs forever wanting one of my own and loving dogs like no other. I’ll be there and you can trust me with your pet, i’ll run around and play with them all day long till there tired I love helping and i want to be someone you can rely on, im opening my schedule and able to check in and watch your pet and go check in between 8am to 4:30 every weekday i’d love to keep your baby comfortable and help you out with no worries in your own home, playing with and following everything you normally do.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of many breeds, giving me extensive experience with animals of different temperaments. I truly love all animals and enjoy caring for each one like my own. I also have a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I am currently a part-time online college student, so my class schedule is completely flexible! I also work part time at the hospital, but am able to create my own schedule. I will easily be able to fit your pet’s needs into my day and can rearrange my routine if necessary! Although I would prefer to care for your pets in your own home, I am willing to board at my house as well. I have a decent sized side yard, and I live in a very walkable neighborhood. I own two cats, both of which are comfortable around dogs.
