The pictures I received from Lori while I was gone showed my cat doing "his normal," and he appeared calm and content. My cat even slept with her one night, as he would have done if I were home! Lori is "pet approved"! Lori left my house as clean as the day I left (even starting the dishwasher), handled a delivery for me, and the most important, graciously stayed an extra night when my flight home got cancelled and I could not get back prior to the end of the scheduled booking! About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.

I offer boarding, daycare, walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits with a calm, attentive, hands-on approach to care. My dog Ivy is very friendly, laid back, calm, and enjoys being around other dogs. She loves having another dog around to play with, relax beside, or explore with, and gets along great and is very respectful with other furry friends. 😊 Dogs are welcome on furniture and beds if that’s what they’re accustomed to, and my home is a calm, quiet environment with no children present, allowing them to feel comfortable and at home during their stay. About: While I don’t have any pets right now, I would love to adore your fur baby while you’re away. They will not be lacking, snuggles, attention, walks, and praise. I work full-time in southern Sioux Falls but have a very flexible schedule to come home to check on and care for your fur babies during the weekdays. In the evenings and on weekends, I am home. Every other week I have my three kids ranging from 11 to 17 who also love pets! I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals, and quite frankly, a house doesn't feel like a home without a wagging tail or a soft purr. Since I don't have any pets of my own right now, your fur-baby becomes my absolute world the moment they walk through the door. Whether we’re exploring the quiet neighborhood on a long walk, playing a high-energy game of fetch in my large fenced-in backyard, or just enjoying some quality 'couch time,' I promise to shower them with the same love and devotion I’d give my own. From playful kittens to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and medication, I’m here to provide a safe, calm, and incredibly loving sanctuary for your best fur friend.

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and potty their pets! I also volunteer at the local Sioux Falls humane society walking shelter pups! I would love to take care of yours too :) I am currently a Registered Nurse at Sanford Hospital. Although I work 12 hour shifts when I work, it gives me more days off in the week to be able to take care of your pets! In your home I will follow your specific care instructions to ensure your pet feels as normal as possible with your absence. I will play and walk with your pup to burn some energy. I will feed them when instructed and let them out to go to the bathroom every few hours or when needed. Most importantly, I will love your pet as my own and give them a lot of snuggles and pets!
