“Deb is just the best sitter for my dog Pepe. She’s kind, caring, soft spoken, and he snuggles with her as if he were home! I feel so lucky to have found such an awesome caretaker for my little boo!😁🥰”

“Angi was amazing! She worked with us to meet before hand and was very flexible with pick up time. She sent lots of pictures and videos. She was very accommodating for my dog’s feeding schedule which made me feel very comfortable! I know my Izzy had a great time!”

“Krysten was very friendly. She kept me updated and sent pictures. My dog went to bed 2 hours early the day we picked her up. Hopefully she's available the next time we can't bring our pup along.”

“Jack had an amazing time with Elizabeth and Henry. The updates and pictures were awesome, Jack may have had a better time on his vacation than my son and I did. Thank you so very much! 10/10 will book again.”

“This was our first time booking with Melissa and our dog would be there 9 days!! She was very welcoming and took great care of our dog. She sent me daily updates, pictures and videos. Our dog got along great with her two dogs. I would highly recommend boarding with Melissa!!”

“Jayne and her family are great with Kira... Jayne's very responsive and sends a daily update, which I really appreciate! I trust Kira is in good hands when she's with Jayne!”

“Paige and her family were AMAZING!!! Gracie (my pup) and i did a meet and greet prior to booking and from that moment i knew she was going to be in great hands. Paige sent adorable pics everyday and went above and beyond by with all the love and playtime, even added an egg to Gracie’s supper (something i mentioned i do at home but to keep things simple for Paige, i didn’t bring any). Upon pick up, Gracie was excited to see me but not over anxious to leave, this told me she was in amazing, loving hands all weekend. ❤️”

“This was my first time using Rover and/or boarding our cat. Maria was so kind and thoughtful with answering all my questions and giving updates! Every picture she sent really showed how comfortable my cat was getting and that she was making sure to give him love and attention. We would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone.”

“Melissa is awesome! I highly recommend her as a pet sitter. My dog loved his home away from home. He was able to be on the furniture and sleep in bed with people. Which kept his home routine the same at her house.”

“Shayla took excellent care of my dog, Sadie. She has a beautiful big fenced yard where Sadie and her dog played together. Every day, Shayla sent me texts with pictures and an explanation of how Sadie was doing. That was very thoughtful of her. I know Sadie will love to go back there again.”

“Amazing caretaker for our dog. So attentive and caring. We always hated leaving our dog at a big kennel since there was so much less direct attention. This was a fantastic experience, especially because of Amber and Calissa.”

“We left our dog and cat for about 4 days for a vacation out of town, and when we got back, they seemed to miss the sitter more than they missed us. 5 Stars! We received daily updates about their care along with photos of our babies. Ashley was wonderful caring for them, giving us peace of mind while we enjoyed our vacation. We are already considering booking again for our next trip!”

“Parker did an awesome job for us! Kooper was incredibly happy and well taken care of. Parker sent pictures and communicated regularly which was so greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Parker - thank you!”

“Christina was wonderful! Our dog is older and a rescue so new people/places can bother her but she settled right in at Christina’s home and did great. Christina showered her with attention & love. She was flexible with drop-off & pick-up times which was helpful. This was our first Rover experience - we will certainly use the service again & hopefully Christina will be available as she would be our first choice!”

“Michelle was amazing! She took great care of Caya. Michelle sent lots of pictures and updates. She let us make a pre-visit. Communication was awesome! We will be using Michelle again!”

“Thank you so much for being available on short notice and for all the great pictures of our pups! I am so sorry that Stevie got into the potatoes and toilet paper. I really appreciate you!!”

“We booked with Lezlie a last minute 3 days board sitting for our dog Pete. She was supper accommodating and took great care of Pete. We appreciate all the pictures and how we were kept informed about his day. We can tell he had a great time! And would love to rebook with her next time.”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing. She watched our puppy over a long weekend and provided lots of updates, photos and videos! She also offered a meet and greet prior to watching her, which was very appreciated:) We will definitely book with her again next time our pup needs a sitter!”

“Itzel was so accommodating and sent so many pictures of my dog while she was sitting. Her 2 dogs were very nice and playful with mine. I will definitely have Itzel as my sitter again!”

“Maria was amazing!! I received lots of pictures and communication about Oscar! He clearly had so much fun! Maria is definitely my first choice now anytime I need a pet sitter!”

“Brittany did a wonderful job watching our two cats. We have a cat who gets anxious when we leave and tends to pee on furniture or clothes if we are gone more than a day or two. We were gone for five days and there were no such incidents thanks to Brittany’s attentive care. Our animals seemed happy and content as if we hadn’t left at all, and it was such a relief to come home to relaxed animals in a clean home. 10/10, thank you Brittany!”

About: I’ve always loved cats and understand that every one has a unique personality. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and plenty of photo updates so you can have peace of mind. I’ll always follow your cat’s routine and treat them like they’re my own.

“Ann was terrific with Penny, our cat, who rules our home and can be demanding. Ann sent us pictures of Penny at various times who appeared to be happy as a clam. Ann also watched our home and left it in perfect order. Definitely will book her again!”

“Elain arrived promptly for the bathing and grooming appointment for my dog. She was very calm, confident, comfortable and and efficient with the bathing and blow dry. I will definitely continue to have her come regularly to bath and groom my long haired dogs. Highly recommended!”

“I cannot recommend Amanda more. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She goes above and beyond with her care. My cat Marge loved having her over to visit and was always cuddly and super excited to see her. Amanda was very accommodating and made sure Marge was getting the best care. She went out of her way to do different tasks and extra things for my cat even when we didn’t ask. Will definitely have Amanda back when we need care for our cat again. Amanda you’re the best!”

“Miss Madison is amazing! She took such great care of both my babies. She boarded my senior dog and did drop in visits on my cat. Madison also has a senior dog so it was nice for him to have a companion he could keep up with! She sent lots of pictures and updates during my trip that gave me the warm and fuzzies that my animals were in great care. I plan to book with her again soon! Thank you again Miss Madison!”

“Megan did an excellent job at caring for my mom's cat while my mom was in the hospital. Without being asked she sent pics and videos ♥️ Megan was also very responsive and easy to communicate and coordinate with. Thanks, Megan!”

“Lori continues to be a fantastic petsitter. My very picky and scaredy cat likes her in a way that’s incredibly rare. She’s also great with the medications my other cat needs.”

About: With over 10 years of experience, I combine a passion for animals with professional expertise. As a nurse, I understand the importance of compassionate care, and that’s exactly what I provide for your furry family members. Meet the Team: As a seasoned pet sitter, I’ve cared for countless dogs, cats, and other critters. My own pets are my pride and joy, and I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. My Little Helpers: With three children under the age of 7, our home is always bustling with energy and laughter. Your pets will enjoy the playful company of our little ones during their stay. I am also a professional photographer and would love to capture some fun photos of your furry friend! Ask me about my add on photography service! Between my husband and I, someone is always home. It would not be a problem if your pet would need frequent bathroom breaks. As a part time nurse, I have plenty of time to care for your pet. I also have a cat that keeps to himself. He is allowed to free roam the main floor. They play outside whenever I am out. Your animal will be treated like my own pet with your typical rules and requests respected.
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

“The sweetest care giver and dogs! My pup had such a fun day and slept the whole evening when we got home bc she was playing so much and so happy! Would absolutely book again”

“First time Rover user; very pleased and excited to have new resource! Christina accepted booking for daycare on short notice; willing to meet Chica prior to day booked. Wonderful communications - wonderful provider - obviously a lover of animals! We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Christina for the day even though we have never kenneled Chica previously. Chica seemed to have a good day, too! Bonus - Christina is very close to our home as well! We will definitely rebook with Christina when again needed - thank you!”

“We had a great experience! Melissa watched our dog for a few hours, and everything went smoothly. Communication was easy, she was friendly and reliable, and our dog was well cared for.”

About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well
“Jamie was very flexible with me and Ziggy! She took great care of my sweet baby, and put up with her chaos :) It was the first time leaving my fur baby alone and she gave me reassurance and comfort that she was in good hands.”

I have tons of experience caring for critters of all ages… from young to elderly… low energy to tons of energy…. and the super social to not so social. I love them all! I am currently working from home which allows me the opportunity to take extra special care of your four-legged family members. This includes time outside & plenty of play time! I have a very large, fenced backyard where your pups can run and play! Whether they are social and enjoy playing with others or appreciate a little more solitude, I can adjust the space to meet their needs and keep them safe & comfortable while you’re away!

“We are so grateful, that we found Mikayla to take care of our dogs. We can tell when dogs enjoying being away from us and home. I believe they had fun during the stay, and they were very well take care. Mary B.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and caged animals since I was little. I also worked at Petco grooming for a few years. We have 2 Chihuahuas of our own, 2 Sphynx and an Axolotl. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible and open most days. Just let me know what you need and we can work it out! I will care for your pet in your home how you request me to. In our home we are very careful to not let our animals out loose, we take them on a leash if they aren’t in the yard and kennel our dogs when we leave.
“Anna and her family are great! We used her daycare services while we had some work being done at our house and she was super flexible when we needed to adjust days last minute. Anna takes such good care of our pup, I highly recommend her!”

About: My household of 6 are all animal lovers. We have always had pets in the home and love trying to train! Booking with me would get you 10 extra hands to love and play with your pet when you are away! I run a bakery so I write my work schedule for me and family as we all work together. I am almost always able to have someone here 24 hours a day to care for your pets. We have 3 cats currently in the home as well as 4 children to help! I have a fenced in yard as well as a larger unfenced yard for your pet to play in. Your pets can coexist together with my 3 cats or be kept separate, whichever works best for you and your pet. I love to snuggle and give belly rubs to all pets. I am flexible with potty and playtime schedules.
“Thank you Nyree, my Inosuke was so happy and comfortable in your home my son said Inosuke cried because he had to go home. You help me reduced my anxiety especially since this was his first day care. I appreciate you so much, highly recommend and will use again.”

About: I have my own fur babies of 5 cats and one 16 year old dog. House is a little chaotic but loving and caring. Each animal has their own needs and I provide them with everything in the world and more. Anything that will work around my college schedule will be most beneficial. Part time jobs can be hard in this economy especially with 18 credit hours this semester. Being able to cuddle and hangout with animals while I can maintain school work sounds like a blast. Your pets are not just pets but they are your babies. I will take care of them like I take care of my own fur babies. They will become one of my fur babies while I take care of them. My pets get their medicine on time, fed on time, and always have water available. Litter boxes get cleaned regularly to keep up with odors.
“Olivia was amazing with our dog and went above and beyond to help care for her when we were out of town. So grateful to have had her help and will definitely book again in the future!”

“We have been using Zach to walk our dog for the past couple months. Very respectful, polite, and keeps me updated with all the bookings. Excellent at responding and extremely trustworthy. We will continue to book- very happy customers!! :)”

About: Have been around dogs my whole life. Have taken care of my parent’s dog for 5 years. I have experience administering medications as well as assisting dogs with limited mobility. I currently work part time, but my schedule is flexible for both weekdays and weekends. I can walk your dogs, do drop in visits, or overnight stays. I can watch your dogs at your home where they can be comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I will give them plenty of love and attention.
About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! At home I have three cats and two dogs (I'm not the only caretaker), and they're all incredibly friendly. Our house is a little small so another location is preferred.

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! I also LOVE a good game of fetch or tug! Myself at home I have 2 wild dogs that always need to move around ;)

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home full time. This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a one-bedroom apartment where I can host pets, and I’m also able to provide walks and potty breaks. I’m flexible and always open to clear communication with owners.
About: Hi I’m Josie! :) Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes my heart happy. I’m home full-time so I have a flexible schedule & can provide a safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or prefers a slower pace, I’ll tailor their care to their individual needs and routine. My goal is to provide a high-quality, hands-on, personalized experience where your pup is loved, engaged, and treated like family- not just watched while you’re away. Whether we’re playing in the yard, going for a walk, or just relaxing together, I strive to make every visit meaningful! Because I’m home throughout the day, dogs get lots of supervision, attention, outdoor time, affection, play, and enrichment. Whether your dog loves playing, exploring, relaxing in the sun, sniffing around outside, or just staying close by, I adjust their day to what makes them happiest, and I make sure to send lots of updates while doing so! :) I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, sunbathe, and play while being closely supervised. Dogs in my care are provided with toys, puzzles/sniffing games, outdoor time, water play, walks, and one-on-one interaction. My dog Ivy is very friendly, laid back, calm, and enjoys being around other dogs. She loves having another dog around to play with, relax beside, or explore with, and gets along great and is very respectful with other furry friends. 😊 I understand that trusting someone with your pet—and sometimes your home—is a big deal. You can expect reliability, clear communication, love for your pet, and respect for your space while you’re away. If I host multiple dogs, it’s only when all owners are comfortable with it and the dogs are a good fit. Otherwise, your pups will receive my full attention and care. Whether you’re heading out of town, have a busy work schedule, need care during the day, or simply want peace of mind while you’re away, I’m here to care for your dog as if they were my own. Your pup’s safety and wellbeing are my #1 priority! Please feel free to message me if you’d like to set up a meet and greet, book a service, or if you have any questions about my care. 🐾
“Madison was incredible. She helped us out last minute and was incredibly flexible and very easy to communicate with. Our dog absolutely loved her. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience with dogs big or small. I’ve had 3 different dogs in my house growing up and have also volunteered at the Sioux Falls humane society. I am currently working full-time and I am on a rotating schedule so I have every other weekend, or Tuesdays and Fridays off. I am available most mornings and evenings. I care for all animals like they are my own. I enjoy giving them all of the love and attention they need. I currently have a 4 year old american bull dog mix, 2 frogs, and 5 fish. I am allergic to cats, so I will love them from afar, if needed I can feed and change litter boxes.

About: I’m an almost empty nester who truly loves animals and am looking to fill my time doing something meaningful. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide house sitting, dog walking or drop-in visits as needed. I grew up surrounded by animals and have experience caring for cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and even goats. Because of that background, I’m comfortable with both small and large animals and understand that each one has its own personality and needs. I’m also a former travel club ball mom, so I completely understand how stressful it can be to make arrangements for your pets and home while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone reliable, communicative, and trustworthy taking care of your home and/or pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. I can also bring in mail, bring garage to the curb and water plants while you are away. I’m able to offer in-home pet and house sitting or flexible drop-in visits while keeping pets on their normal routines and not left alone for long periods of time. I can care for smaller caged pets in my home but will care for dogs, cats etc in your home because I have pets of my own.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and love them to death! I enjoy caring for animals or even just keeping them entertained while their humans are away! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work in healthcare, so I value responsibility, reliability, and keeping a consistent schedule. On my days off and outside of work hours, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks.I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their pet’s routine and needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or just some extra company, I make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I always make sure to follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and any special needs they may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets securely leashed when needed, and make sure doors and gates are always properly closed. I also believe communication is very important, so I am happy to send updates and photos to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind while they are away.

When my college semester begins, my only busy window is from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays, leaving my mornings and afternoons completely free for your pets. On weekends, even when working, my schedule allows me ample time to drop in during the morning, mid-day, and night. Because your pet's routine is my priority, I easily plan my day around their specific feeding, exercise, and medication schedules.

“Itzel was so accommodating and sent so many pictures of my dog while she was sitting. Her 2 dogs were very nice and playful with mine. I will definitely have Itzel as my sitter again!”

“Casandra did an AMAZING job handling our dogs for the weekend while we got to enjoy a vacation in another state! This was our first experience using Rover and I have already recommended Rover and Casandra to our family and friends! A+++ Thank you!”

“Our girls were so happy staying with Josie! I loved getting daily updates and seeing how much they got to play outside and see their big smiles playing with Josie’s dog. Josie was very understanding and had great communication when we had to make some last minute changes to the beginning of their stay. We are so thankful for Josie!”

“Anna was great. Provided updates that kept our minds at ease while we were on vacation. Fable must've loved staying there because when we came to pick her up she tried to go back inside with Anna 😅”

“Justin did a great job sitting for my pup. She seems like she was exercised plenty and well taken care of. He sent updates and asked permission before taking on other dogs while taking care of her. I’d definitely trust my baby with him again!”

“Lauren and her family were awesome! Super flexible, great communication, and easy to work with. Our dogs came home happy and exhausted from all the fun. Would definitely go to them again with future needs. Thank you!”
