About: I have been an animal sitter since I was a teen! Throughout these 8 years of my life I have looked after different animals like my sister’s dogs, cousin’s bird, and even a snake for a friend! I have a lot of experience looking after dogs, as I’ve helped my sister raise her two dogs, Love & Bug, ever since she adopted them. I’ve learned about reactive behavioral training to nutritional food education, all that has allowed me to hone in my animal knowledge. In regards to cat experience, I have also raised my own, Sabertooth, who I rescued off the Brooklyn streets when I found him as a kitten! Who’ve I’ve not only taught to be harness/leash trained but has accompanied me on many journeys Upstate & out on Montauk! Needless to say I will look after your pet as if it was my own! I will diligently approach this duty of care and supervision with seriousness and empathy! I’m currently working part-time on the weekends at MoMA PS1, so during the week I am super accommodating and flexible. I’m still able to provide my services on the weekend depending on your situation and needs for your pet! I live in an area, where there is a lot of nearby dog parks to take your dog or great spaces to walk your dog in ( Or if you walk your cat!). I will treat your dog/cat like family in my home, and will adequately meet your specific request for your pet. I will also treat your home and spaces in the most respectful manner.

“I had a great experience with Salette! I was really anxious because one of my pups requires a lot of care and it’s also nerve wracking to have someone new house and pet sit. However from the moment we facetimed on the phone for our meet and greet I felt comfortable with her and my fears were put at ease. We also did a in person meet and greet and my pups adored her. For the 2 days I was away she sent pictures and followed all care instructions and when I came back all puppies were happy and well. One even velcroed herself to her which I was happy to see because she usually tends to have separation anxiety. She also took great care of my living space even though she didn’t have to - in fact, I came back to a cleaner house than the one I left. Overall, Salette is extremely trustworthy and I would definitely use her services in the future ☺️”
