About: I am an animal person who has been a pet parent to many cats, large dogs, and small birds. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and activity and socialization needs. From sassy corgis to excitable labradoodle puppies, I'm sure your fur baby and I will get along wonderfully. I also have experience caring for senior pets with specialized medication and dietary needs, and maintaining consistent, disciplined training regimens for puppies learning the ropes, including clicker and nonverbal command training. While I have only owned small birds myself, I am comfortable around larger birds and am confident preparing chop, monitoring fly time, supporting preening, and maintaining training sessions. I also have experience administering oral medication to small birds. The company I previously worked for recently downsized, so while I am on the job search I have a very flexible schedule to accommodate you and your furry (or feathered) friend's needs! The safety and well-being of your pet is my top priority. This means that in addition to providing photos and updates of your pet while you are away, I will be proactive in contacting you if anything concerning arises. If you have cats, this means I won't let them outside unless it is a secured space. I also require the information for both your primary and preferred emergency vet for all pets. (I have never needed to contact someone's vet while pet-sitting, but I prefer to always be prepared!)
About: I've been taking care of a few close friends dogs while they work since November 2025 and I have personally had my own canine familiars and family since 2010. I love spending time with all my dogs, going for walks, playing in the yards and parks when weather permits and most of all, giving them all the attention, lots of snuggling, cuddling and love. I don't do any dog training but am well experienced in how to handle dogs in different environments and situations. I am also a very clean and tidy individual who is willing to walk your dogs daily, clean up poop in your backyard (if you have one) and you can be assured I will keep your house spotless and clean as well. As for me and my personal life, I am a part time private mentor for individuals seeking change, men in recovery, men that are homeless and men that suffer mental health disorders. I've worked in several recovery homes for non-profits as an onsite house manager where my dog Angelo, at the time, was an integral part of many of the clients and the population we served in the program houses daily life, enrichment activities and mental health journeys. After loosing my beloved Angelo in January 2025 to lymphoma, I felt a new calling in my heart to help others with their dogs needs, give them peace of mind and trust when they are away for work, self care days or vacation. I personally like to get up and go for morning, mid-day and evening walks with all my dogs I'm around if they prefer being active (not very many say no, lol). If they are more of a couch potato or have an indoor personality, I tailor our routine to activities and attention within the house. I always provide space upon meeting new dogs to let them move and get comfortable at their pace. I am a very quiet and passive fella that provides a positive safe space at all times to the best of my ability daily, its just my nature! So, its always a "win win" to me! I have yet to have any of the dogs I've been around not warm up to me.
About: We honor the spaces of pets and allow them the time to become comfortable. We always assure they feel safe, and know we are a guest in their space or they are an honored guest in our family home. We love spending time with animals and have been fortunate to provide care to friends animals overnight and for daily care. My husband and I work full-time, on opposite schedules.
