When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

Please let me know any 'negative' behaviors up front. Knowledge is power and it won't necessarily be a deal breaker. The information I have about past behaviors & situations the better prepared I will be to manage future situations & behavior.
A typical day
Fun for one may be torture for another...so I experiment to see how each animal responds & go from there. Like to catch? Like to play hide & seek? Maybe just take a nice walk where sniffing is abundantly allowed? It all depends on what the is requested in the care instructions & what your fur baby is showing interest in.

Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)!

Jennifer is AMAZING! I never want to have anyone else watch my dog. She made our dog feel relaxed and loved in our home. He was fed, walked and loved for a week.
