“Claire was wonderful with our dogs! She is incredibly gentle, kind, and patient, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them. She listened carefully to all of our instructions and followed them exactly, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were happy, well cared for, and comfortable with her, and we came home to very content pups. Communication was great, and we felt confident knowing they were in good hands. We were so pleased with the experience that we’ve already booked several more stays with her. We would absolutely recommend Claire to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter and will definitely be hiring her again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Tanja was absolutely wonderful with our MinPin, Dixie! She’s a fantastic communicator and clearly cares deeply about the animals she looks after. She sent daily updates and photos which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, thoughtful, and even went above and beyond with a few extra kind things around the house before she left, which we really appreciated. We’ve used half a dozen Rover sitters over the years, and Tanja is by far the best we’ve had. We would happily book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter.”

About: I really enjoy spending time with animals especially dogs it's hard to find a dog I don't like so what I think you'd like most is that it as long as I'm enjoying it I'm pretty sure your dogs will enjoy it too, and I'm a very responsible pet owner myself. I've had dogs in my life since as far back as I can remember, when I was a child my father trained a German Shepherd mix how to count he could count up to 10 however many fingers you held up he would bark that many times. in my younger teens I had a paper route and my dog as a child learned my whole paper route and would follow me to do the Sunday paper. My current dog is a boxer mix and I trained him to work as a service animal just last year although he's no longer on duty he's one of the best dogs I've ever known. In addition to providing Services on rover I have spent a volunteer for the Marion County Dog Shelter for the last year mainly as a foster adoption ambassador. Dog care is all I do it is my main job I'm just finishing my certification in dog behaviorism I intend to train and care for dogs the rest of my life I live on a corner a lot with a large fenced yard I have a chihuahua, A husky who loves to play with everybody And I have a mini Australian Shepherd She is mainly a ball chaser.
“Freya did a great job making us feel comfortable with our kitty while we were out of town. She was very good at communicating with updates and pictures and kept the house nice and clean. Would definitely recommend”

“Pat took excellent care of my dogs and home while I was away. My senior dog has multiple medications and other special needs and Pat did a wonderful job with all of it. In addition, I returned to a home that was cleaner than I left it, which was not expected. She’s a gem and I will be hiring her again.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I love going on long walks, giving belly rubs, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and loved. I’m attentive to their routines, energy levels, and individual quirks—whether that’s tossing a favorite toy, sticking to a feeding schedule, or just offering calm companionship. I treat every dog like family. Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily routine. I make sure every pet receives the attention, comfort, and care they deserve, whether through walks, playtime, drop-in visits, or overnight companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and their happiness, safety, and well-being are always my priority. Caring for animals is a very meaningful part of my life. While the extra income is certainly appreciated, what I value most is the opportunity to spend time with wonderful pets and give them the love, attention, and companionship they deserve. !Important! House sitting is designed for overnight care in your home and typically includes a 10–12 hour overnight stay, morning and evening walks and/or active playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and plenty of companionship. During the day, I generally check in every 6–8 hours (depending on the day of the week) to ensure your pet remains comfortable, happy, and well cared for. If your pet requires more frequent daytime visits or extended daytime supervision, please let me know in advance so we can determine whether my schedule is a good fit. If you only need care for a few daytime hours, please book a drop-in visit instead. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, their safety and comfort always come first. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep things tidy. I also make sure pets are never left unsupervised in unfamiliar or unsafe situations. Building trust with both pets and their humans is at the heart of everything I do. And If it is gardening season, please ask me to tend your garden while you're away--I would love it! ;)
“Gwyneth was outstanding with my 15 year old kitty. She took on the challenge of staying with my kitty for 3 weeks and delivered like a champion. I HIGHLY recommend booking Gwyneth, she is AMAZING!”

“Heather was very prompt when we asked her to be there quite early so we could make our flight. She took notes and was very attentive when we gave her instructions on our pets needs and schedules. She asked great questions and learned all their names. We have 6 cats, 2 big dogs and 8 chickens. We did not worry once while we were gone. Heather provided text and pictures several times a day to let us know everything was great. The animals were happy and healthy when we got and the house was in good shape too! We will definitely be using Heather again.”

“Alex was amazing! Very accommodating, attentive, and professional. We got regular updates, and our house had never been cleaner. Would absolutely book again and recommend to anyone.”

“Jennifer is AMAZING! I never want to have anyone else watch my dog. She made our dog feel relaxed and loved in our home. He was fed, walked and loved for a week. Jennifer also went out of her way to keep our home clean and communicate with us whenever needed. I cannot say anything but wonderful things about Jennifer and her stay with our dog at our home.”

“Erica was amazing with my 10 month old rescue. This was my first time using Rover and she made us feel very comfortable, watching our dog in our house for the weekend. Even during all the fireworks and having to give her medication, she made our dog happy and comfortable. Will for sure use her again.”
