About: Hey! We're Matt and Shawna! We're a young, dog-loving couple with a furry pup of our own! Together, we would love to meet your pups and keep them company while you're away! While in California, Shawna was an active dogsitter for DogVacay which eventually turned into Rover! She's the snuggler; she'll love giving tons of belly rubs/hugs/kisses to your pups! Matt stays super active and loves going on long walks/runs/hikes with your pups. Your pups are guaranteed to get great exercise with him! Message us for any questions you may have! We look forward to meeting you & your pup(s)! Matt works remotely from home, and Shawna is a self-employed beauty professional. This allows for tons of flexibility. Our pup also loves having friends around! We live in a safe community with a park within the neighborhood. We take our pup on long walks and occasional trips to dog parks.

“Our two 20 month old doodles had a great time at Marco's house. (the property is fantastic!) They came home exhausted (a good thing!) It was their first time at a residential dog day care. They have visited two 'business' dog day care centers where there are usually up to 20 dogs. I worried unnecessarily! At Marco's house they received individual attention. Realizing I was a bit apprehensive Marco sent me several video's of them playing with the 2 other day care dogs. It was truly a relief for me knowing they were in such good care. Highly recommend!”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs, cats and other animals my whole life. It's my passion and I'm a bit of a pet whisperer too. I'm a good handyman and willing to take care of plants plus do some yardwork for you. I work part time so I have ample availability to care for your pets. If you need me to come to your home, I can do that on relatively short notice if you are located near Sherwood. I live in a condo but there are areas suitable for pet relief and have access to numerous walking trails. I am good at training dogs and our living space has plenty of room for fun and games with dogs, windows for cats to look out.

About: I’ve owned and cared for animals my entire life. I’ve owned four beautiful dogs, Snapper, Buster, Treaka, and Cleo. I’ve also owned two cats, a tabby named Netty and a calico named Landscape. Landscape had a thyroid disorder during her lifetime, so I have experience administering medication. I also watched neighbor’s animals during their vacations. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve owned a rat named Charlie, three guinea pigs named Blanka, Snickers, and Pocky, a tortoise named Archibald, and many many fish. I am very knowledgeable about care for many types of animals. I am a stay at home mom of three kiddos age four and under. I am able to change my schedule around to accommodate animal care usually. I have a fenced yard and a large lawn area if needed for home care. Any animal would need to be ok with young children being around. I am very detail oriented and flourish on lists and schedules so that would be greatly appreciated.
