About: Hi! I’ve always loved being around dogs and have plenty of experience taking care of them. I had my own dog, Bella, for 8 years before she passed away from cancer, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to leave them with someone you are able to trust. I’ve also watched dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, sometimes for weeks at a time. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with them, giving them lots of attention, and sticking to whatever routine they’re used to. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing outside, or just hanging around the house, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working by part time at a retirement home with a flexible schedule, so i have plenty of time on my hands to take care of your four-legged friends. I am always available before 3:30 and after 7, so chance is most likely i can meet your needs time wise, especially staying overnight. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable as possible by sticking to their normal routine. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they have fresh water, get fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and attention, and have a safe, clean environment. I know every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow any instructions you have, whether that’s medication, favorite walking routes, crate routines, or anything else that helps them feel at home. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well while you’re away.
About: I have experience working in a pet health care cooperation where I was able to develop skills in taking care of dogs and gain experience on what it is like to provide love and tender care. With the understanding that every dog is different I strive my best to cater to each of their needs. I am energetic but also know when it is best to take a break therefore I will always make sure each dog has fun and also plenty rest when need be. I am flexible, responsible, and most importantly caring. Futhermore, I am very communicative and will make sure to be prompt and present in a timely manner. I will make sure that I maximize every experience with every furry friend I encounter! I have a fully open schedule, as I stay at home to focus on my passion for caring for animals. This means your pet will receive consistent attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Because I’m home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, interactive play sessions, enrichment, fresh food and water, clean spaces, and lots of love. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, including medications, feeding schedules, walks, and any special preferences. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure home where every pet receives individualized care and close supervision. Because I’m home full-time, your pet is rarely left alone and will enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and affection throughout the day. For boarding, I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. Cats have their own private rooms, giving them a quiet, stress-free space to relax and adjust at their own pace. My own pets are friendly and well-socialized, but they remain separate from boarding guests unless an introduction is specifically requested and appropriate. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. I also take the time to understand each pet’s personality and body language, allowing me to respond appropriately to their individual needs and help them feel safe and secure. To give you peace of mind, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet as if they were my own, creating a loving environment where they can relax, have fun, and feel at home while you’re away.
About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
