About: I've been a lifelong animal lover and have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. I've been the primary caregiver for my dog for 8 years and my cat for 3 years, and I've also cared for birds, hamsters, and fish. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of reliable, attentive care and will treat your pets like my own. I work full time M-T and would be willing to do a later evening drop in, but have my Friday afternoons and weekends available any time! Your pet's safety is my top priority. As a pet owner, I understand that every animal has unique behaviors and needs. Having cared for dogs with a tendency to bolt, I am especially mindful around doors, gates, and leashes and always take extra precautions to prevent escapes. I will carefully follow your pet's routine, respect your home's rules, and provide a calm, secure environment while you're away. About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and I love them oh so dearly! I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I’m not much of a cat person, I didn’t grow up with cats but I can do what is needed of me. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of. I will care for your baby in your own home where they have all their favorite toys and comfort spots. I will take them for walks and give them all the snuggles they need!

About: Hey there, nice to meet you! I'm Claire, and I've been doing petsitting for around 6 years. I really enjoy being able to spend time with pets and animals of all kinds, I find that it's very fulfilling and calming for me. Over the years I have cared for large and small dogs, cats, birds, and even baby goats! I also had some great pets in the past: a German shepherd who was super sweet, and ducks who had cute quacks and unique little personalities. Since I don't have pets currently (though I would love to one day), it's great to be able to help others out when they need care with their own! ❀ I have experience working longer term with senior dogs + dogs who require extra care, as well as experience with handling and administering medication as needed. ❀ I'm able to adapt to the needs of your pet, generally I am very detail oriented and I like to know how I can best care for them! ❀ I'm a recent grad, and my schedule is a lot more open these days! About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. I am an animal lover who has to pet any dog or cat I see and have a genuine interest in caring for and loving your special furry friend 🐾 I am currently in-between jobs as I am studying for my LSAT for law school so my schedule is very flexible right now! I have a car and am able to drive so that is not a problem. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very aware that I am a guest in the home and act accordingly. These days, privacy is important and I pride myself on protecting that for the client in addition to caring for the pet(s). When interacting with pet(s), I like to go at their pace in their home, respecting their boundaries, and gaining their trust. I am able to handle shy pets and wait for them to warm up as well as handle the rambunctious love bugs that want to snuggle!

About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!

About: I have had dog, cats, puppies, kittens, hedgehogs, bugs, fish, etc. I have also taken care of reptiles and so much more! I love animals of all sorts and if I'm not educated of the species, Ill make sure I will be before taking care of your baby! I work as a receptionist at a Vet Hospital Currently I'm a full-time student (working to my PHD in Vet Med) who only works three night shifts a week, and can do my schoolwork wherever needed even if its cuddled right beside Ur fur baby! I 100% listen to all needs and wants from the owner. I make sure to give daily pictures and videos of the animals to ease any stress and give lots of love!

About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

About: I've had experience with lots of animals, from Puppies to Snakes to Cows. I've helped birth Dogs, Lambs, Cows, Pigs, Goats, and much more. I'm almost always available to!
