“Friendly & responsible”

About: I had a dog growing up, who taught me how to love, and be loved like no other! I learned, that a pet, is a family member: and someone’s baby, who trust us to watch over them, while their humans are away! I strive to love your fur baby, as much as you do, and provide the best care possible! I have a partner, who helps me watch homes and pets! He loves animals, especially dogs, and cats! I work full time 7:30-4 pm monday-friday. If it is in Newberg , I take a lunch break where I can relieve/ check in on the pets, as well as my partner, meaning they would not be alone longer than 2 hours at a time! I am off and available weekends full time, with summer, holiday, and other type of breaks! I live in a dog friendly apartment complex, right next to a park! I am also more than happy to keep your fur baby at the comfort of your own home!

“Samantha has been an absolute life saver this past week for me and my pup! She communicates very well, and always takes a couple pictures while out on the walk which is so nice to see when I’m away at work. I highly recommend her for a dog walker!”

“Jessica came over on short notice and was super easy to talk with. I scheduled everything over text and she was amazingly helpful. I definitely will be having her walk Oakley again!”

“Heather’s awesome! She agreed to take our pup for walks at the last minute after our usual walker canceled. She’s been great, lots of pictures and timely communication. And she’s taken him to a dog park to let him run energy off. I’d highly recommend her, my pup likes her and she does a great job!”

About: With over five years of dedicated experience in dog care, I have developed a deep understanding and love for our furry friends. I am the proud owner of twin long-haired dachshunds, who bring joy and adventure to my daily life. My passion for dogs extends beyond my own pets, as I have taken care of nearly my entire neighborhood's pets back in my hometown. This role has enriched my experience, providing me with the opportunity to care for a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs. My background ensures that I am well-equipped to meet the unique needs of each dog and provide them with the best care possible. Typically available 7 days a week, depending on personal schedule. I'm a full time college student but I have the best availability in January and June-August. Lake Oswego, Newberg, and McMinnville are where I am the most likely to be in terms of distance. I carefully watch pets to prevent any accidents or mishaps. Keep a watchful eye on the pet’s health, promptly addressing any signs of distress or illness. I maintain a consistent routine, ensuring pets feel secure and know what to expect. Provide regular updates to pet owners, including photos and detailed reports on their pets' activities and well-being. I treat clients' homes with the utmost respect and confidentiality, ensuring their privacy is maintained. Make sure pets have access to their favorite toys, bedding, and familiar spaces to reduce stress and promote comfort. And engage pets in stimulating activities tailored to their breed, age, and energy level, ensuring they receive the necessary mental and physical exercise.

“Katie was professional,”

About: My mother was a veterinary Technition for many years and when I was 11 I was lucky enough to be able to tag along and experiance a lot of the work they did. I grew a huge passion for walking animals, bathing, grooming, taking home sick live stock to give them a higher chance of getting better, and meeting an abundance of amazing people and the animals they brought in. I now volunteer as a foster for the Newberg Animal Shelter and work as an veterinary technician. Your furry friends will get lots of loves, pets, runs, " good boy/girl" and a variety of healthy organic dog treats( if allowed) I will also provide nail trims and a good ear cleaning for your furry friends if wanted. I am very okay with any animals relaxing on my furniture but if you are not ok with your own pet doing so then that will also be respected. I have experiance in giving animals medication and dealing with diet retrictions. I can also leash train and help your pup learn basic commands like sit, stay, roll over, down, and shake. I cant wait to meet your furry friends..oh and you as well! I work part time as veterinary technician at a clinic 5 minutes away from where I live, I have the ability to bring pets to work with me, check in on them frequently, and a pup and children that’ll love to give them all the attention they need while I am away for a few hours at work, so your pup is never alone. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly Newfoundland pup to help keep your furry friend company during their stay. I also have two very animal loving children that would love to play and run the energy out of your furry friends during the day as well.

“Michelle is awesome!!! Ricco loves her and so do I!! She is reliable, trustworthy and very organized. Thanks so much Michelle for being so great!!”

“I recently got a puppy and booked an hour with Erica as part of his socialization process, to get him used to spending time with strangers. Erica and her daughter did an amazing job and I could tell Raider warmed up to both of them right away and felt very comfortable. It’s SO important for young puppies (especially giant breeds) to have positive experiences with new people. Thanks for helping to make sure I don’t wind up with a 120lb dog that’s afraid of people 🤣🖤Very much appreciated! 100% recommend”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I was a young girl. I personally own a 21 year old African Grey parrot, I’ve had her since she was a baby, an 18 year old cat that is deaf and on thyroid medication and a 2 year old rescue dachshund. Years ago I raised a hound dog until the old age of 14. I’m looking for something that will earn some $ doing the things I love. My schedule during the summer is pretty open. Usually I can make something work within my schedule. I can easily follow directions given by the pet owner. I can provide the best care I know how to. I am very observant of anything that may be needed.

“Sydney has came and hung out with our young puppy a couple times now to break up his boredom on our long work days. She is super nice and love her communication and effort that she takes to get our puppy tired .”

About: I have excellent references with over 16 years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and grooming animals. I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I am a teacher so I am available any time during the week to stay over and with breaks I can go and let them out for play and potty time. I’m off work after 3:45 so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I live in an apartment at this time so I will not be able to keep your animals here, but I am able to come to your home and be there as much or as little as you need me to be! I want what is best for your pet since I know they are part of your family. When you put your trust in me, I take that very seriously and anything you need directions wise will be followed- you know your pet best!

About: I love pets and I have a lot of experience working with them. I also have experience with puppies and kittens. Here to take them on walks, play with them, feed them, and clean up after them. Reach out! I can do full time or part time care. If it’s part time, work 9-2 most days, so I can check on them early in the morning and early in the evenings. I’m free in the evening and on weekends, and happy to help! I have a background check and a lot of experience keeping pets engaged, safe, and cared for. I have experience with anxious pets and know how to keep them at ease.

About: i have taken care of and owned many big dogs in my life, but i’ve also cared for little guys, i feel i can make a special connection with any pooch I just finished up school at George Fox and have some extra time on my hands to dedicate to some pooches! I am currently searching for a part time. i am currently in an apartment with a nice front yard in a quiet neighborhood. I have experience crating dogs, and i used to walk mine 2x daily. I would also take them out 3x a day to potty or just play, i believe playing with your pup is very important.

About: I grew up with a dog and have always loved animals. Last year we adopted a Dutch shepherd mix from the rescue and have worked really hard on training her. We have someone help take care of her when I work, so I know how important it is to find a good pet sitter! I will love on your pet just as much as I love mine! I live a very active lifestyle and I am excited to run/walk/play with your pup! I have summers off of work, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a few trips planned but would love to help take care of your pet while I am around! Pet safety is definitely a priority. I am very aware of things like other dogs while out on walks and making sure that no doors/gates are open when spending time with your pup.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old. Whether big or small, my family and friends trust me to walk, play, and care for their furry friends. As a dog enthusiast, I promise to care for yours as if it were my own - with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of love! I’m currently working full time and caring for a pup and bunny of my own. So in between my work schedule and tending to my fur babies, I will be able to care for your dog. My dog is a sweet 13 year old who enjoys walks to the Mail box, soaking up the sun, and snuggles on the couch. While she enjoys a slower environment these days, I try to keep her as involved as I can. She also enjoys the company of my one year old house bunny. They love to share apples, dig in their blankets, and sit in each other’s presence.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life starting with cats in childhood, farm animals (horses, goats, chickens) and dogs. I typically like animals more than people ;) and see them as sentient, intelligent creatures. I have been a reliable pet sitter for years for my neighbors and friends and love helping people enjoy their time away even more because they feel good about leaving their furry family behind in my care. I recognize how sad it can be to leave your furry friends when you’re away and I’ll do my best to help them feel secure and cared for! I’m happy to accommodate for special needs of pets and report to you pictures and updates about how things are going. Send me a message! I’d love to talk. :) I am available afternoons Monday, Wednesday and Friday and all day Tuesday, Thursday and many weekends! I’m blessed with a flexible schedule and would love to make your pet my priority. I am happy to accommodate your needs for your pet, whatever it is to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Safety is a top priority for me.

3. Isamar & Caleb R.
“Isamar has cared for our dog and chickens multiple times and has been incredible! In the past, we have taken our dog to multiple doggy daycares while on vacation but she always ends up getting some kind of infection and then we spend weeks getting her well again. Once we accepted this wouldn’t work anymore, we found Isamar and it has been so much better! Now we come home from vacation to a happy healthy pup! And not only is she happy she literally misses Isamar so much because she takes such good care of her!! We couldn’t be happier with the care she provided and HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing better care for their pets!!”

17. Lily J.
“Lily is wonderful; last fall, I had surgery and could not walk my Black Lab for three months; Lily came to my house every morning and took my pup out for long, needed exercise while I recuperated. Lily was so responsible and caring in her treatment of my dog that I invited her to stay in my home, taking care of my Black lab and little Jack Russell for a week while I was on vacation. When I returned, both pups were healthy, happy, and exercised- my home was perfectly cared for too! I am so impressed with Lily's pet-loving and caregiving skills that I recommended her to my daughter, who now uses Lily to care for her Golden Retriever when needed. Lily is trustworthy, compassionate, and caring; she cares deeply for animals' welfare and takes responsibility for their care seriously.”
