About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Much more familiar with big working dogs with high drive like huskies, German shepherds, and cattle dogs. But I love taking care of them all! The current fluff ball in my house (housemates pup) is my first time regularly looking after a smaller dog but she’s kinda a big dog in a little body as she loves getting out for walks and trail runs just as my as my shepherd did. I’m currently only employed part time and work from home. So flexible hours and looking for extra reasons to get out of the house and active this summer. Unfortunately my home does not have a fenced in yard but there are walking trails nearby and a fenced in dog park close by. My pup is friendly with other dogs. I’m available to take care of your furball in your home if that is better for you.

“My husband and I met Alisha in October for a meet and greet with Milo, our mixed yellow lab and golden retriever. The meeting was for an upcoming trip during the Christmas holidays. We instantly liked her, she was on time when she came, she was professional, she bonded right away with Milo. Soon after I booked a three day walk in November just to reconnect again with her. It was for a 30 minute walk and again she was on time and I love the fact that I get a text and a pic of the walk. About: I've grown up around animals on a small family farm with sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. Animals have always been a priority in my life. I currently have cats, chickens and goats and I hate to admit it but I will always want more! Caring for pets both that are mine and others has been part of my life since I can remember. From helping birth lambs or caring for mamma cats in labor I've done close to it all when it comes to animal care. Animal behavior has become an interest in the last 8-10 years and I have worked to learn more about training and behaviors as it helps with their individualized needs. Making sure that your animals are not only comfortable but happy and safe while your away is my main goal. Pet care for my animals happens daily. I wake up and am set into the potty and feed schedule not only for my indoor animals but for my outdoor livestock pets as well. Animal care has been subconscious since a young age. I have always enjoyed seeing the happiness of animals and my schedule as of late has made that easier and easier to make a larger part of my life. My pets are spoiled, and yours will be too. About: I have worked professionally with dogs for 5 years, and have had personal dogs my whole life. As such, I have experience working with dogs of all ages and breeds, including young puppies, dogs with behavioral struggles, and dogs with medical needs. I am comfortable administering medications, and will do my best to accommodate every dog's unique needs. I am generally available all day Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays with some minor exceptions. I work full time at an animal sanctuary, so animal care is a major part of my everyday life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have many years working with animals, including those struggling with behavioral issues. I am experienced in reading animal body language to ensure the safety of everyone involved, and the animals safety and comfort are my top priority.

About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

About: All my life I’ve been surrounded by dogs, and their company has always brought me so much joy. I truly believe everyone deserves the happiness a dog brings. I currently live with four cats, one of which is named Ricki — who honestly acts like a dog himself and loves going on walks and car rides. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, dogs with disabilities, and dogs who experience seizures. I love taking pups on walks (weather permitting), going to dog parks so they can socialize, and giving them plenty of love and mental stimulation. I’m a strong believer in animal rights and I never take their trust for granted. Their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first with me. About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. I am an animal lover who has to pet any dog or cat I see and have a genuine interest in caring for and loving your special furry friend 🐾 I am currently in-between jobs as I am studying for my LSAT for law school so my schedule is very flexible right now! I have a car and am able to drive so that is not a problem. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very aware that I am a guest in the home and act accordingly. These days, privacy is important and I pride myself on protecting that for the client in addition to caring for the pet(s). When interacting with pet(s), I like to go at their pace in their home, respecting their boundaries, and gaining their trust. I am able to handle shy pets and wait for them to warm up as well as handle the rambunctious love bugs that want to snuggle!

About: If you want your animals to be well cares for, tired from playing and treated like a family member, I am the right choice for you! I have always had animals in my life! When I turned 18 I got myself a puppy. I have trained and taken care of her for the past 7 years! My friends and family often come to me and ask me to help when their dogs are misbehaving because of how well my dog is trained. I have dog sat many times over the years and figured I should get paid for it now. I work a full-time compressed schedule. Due to this I always have 3-4 days off a week. I am looking to fill some of that free time with something I love doing. Walking and taking care of animals! I already walk my dog so I would be happy to walk yours as well! I will drop in when needed and let your animals out to go potty. I can feed them if needed and play with them until they are tired! I can accomadate almost anything.

About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!
