“We have two high maintenance, high energy, quirky Welsh Terriers. They are a hand full and require constant attention. We needed a vacation and knew kenneling wasn't a good option. By dumb luck I stumbled on Rover and Kassie. Kassie accepted our request for sitting and stopped by the house a week before we left. She stayed for over an hour, letting the dogs get used to her and vice versa. Even though we were strangers, after we met her, we had no concerns about letting her live in our house for the week. Kassie was wonderful. She kept us informed about what was going on during the week and let us know what kind of trouble the dogs got into. I hope the next time we need a dog sitter she is available and accepts the challenge. Thanks Again!”

She was super responsive, sent pictures and detailed notes about our dog every single day of our trip, and went out of her way to make sure our pup felt comfortable while we were gone. She also took great care of our house. We came home to clean towels and sheets on the bed, which was so unnecessary but such a nice surprise after a super long day of international travel. Would 100% use Emelyn again!”

She unobtrusively kept in touch with us throughout her stay in our home with our dog so that we were able to leave our separation anxiety dog without worry, which truly is a blessing as anyone with a dog like ours can understand. Erica asked in advance if her daughter could accompany her, and we said yes, and we are glad we did: what a sweetheart and clearly an animal lover who instantly connected with our dog. We hope to have Erica and her daughter house sit with our dog again, possibly for multiple days. As much as we love our dog and our home would not be the same without him, it is so nice that my wife and I have found a caring and trustworthy person so that we can start planning some alone time at a nice restaurant, show and hotel stay downtown overnight, or on a multi-day adventure somewhere fun. We are grateful to have found such a great sitter.”

About: I’ve been on Rover for a little over a year now and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it! I love meeting all kinds of furry friends. I understand that they all are different in their own way, I love learning about them even if I only get to be around them for 30 minutes! I’ve also had the chance to meet chickens and made sure they were taken care of. I’m open to learning new things so any pet that you own is always welcome to share some memories with me :) so don’t hesitate to reach out. I understand their mental health matters and they’re not just pets but they’re part of the family. I will always make sure that they are safe and well cared for 💛 I’m currently working part time, on weekdays only 2 hours and weekends my shifts are about 5 hours long so I have a lot of time off. Ready to help out with your family! I have 2 pets. They’re the sweetest and are good with kids and other dogs. I know how important their safety is. I understand how keeping them on a leash out in public is very very important. Picking up after them is also big for me, it shows respect for the community. I’m always open to learn new things that you might suggest and that can help our pets feel better and be better!
