She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. Our pup went 2 days and came back both days a bit overwhelmed, exhausted and especially on day 2 he was stinky and scratched up. As a one year old he may not have been able to hold his own with the larger older dogs. It seems to be a great place for larger dogs, but even my 80lb Ridgeback was overwhelmed and may have been out muscled. He tends to play hard and get clumsy. Will certainly consider in the future for booking.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Much more familiar with big working dogs with high drive like huskies, German shepherds, and cattle dogs. But I love taking care of them all! The current fluff ball in my house (housemates pup) is my first time regularly looking after a smaller dog but she’s kinda a big dog in a little body as she loves getting out for walks and trail runs just as my as my shepherd did. I’m currently only employed part time and work from home. So flexible hours and looking for extra reasons to get out of the house and active this summer. I've been the primary caregiver for my dog for 8 years and my cat for 3 years, and I've also cared for birds, hamsters, and fish. I work full time M-T and would be willing to do a later evening drop in, but have my Friday afternoons and weekends available any time! Your pet's safety is my top priority. I follow all instructions carefully—whether that’s feeding schedules, walking routines, crate time, or medication needs—so your pet stays comfortable and consistent in their environment. I’m also happy to continue any training or reinforcement you’ve already been working on, whether it’s basic commands, crate manners, or specific behavior routines. Consistency is key, and I always strive to keep your pet’s progress moving forward while you’re away. About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. I am an animal lover who has to pet any dog or cat I see and have a genuine interest in caring for and loving your special furry friend 🐾 I am currently in-between jobs as I am studying for my LSAT for law school so my schedule is very flexible right now! I have a car and am able to drive so that is not a problem. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very aware that I am a guest in the home and act accordingly. When I turned 18 I got myself a puppy. I have trained and taken care of her for the past 7 years! My friends and family often come to me and ask me to help when their dogs are misbehaving because of how well my dog is trained. I have dog sat many times over the years and figured I should get paid for it now. I work a full-time compressed schedule. Due to this I always have 3-4 days off a week.
