About: Lifelong dog and cat mom! I give your fur babies the same love and care i give my own pets. I have a fenced backyard where eyes will always be on your pets. A small pool for the hot days. My dog Opal is everyone’s friend! But, if he is too active for your pet they can easily be separated. I’m completely flexible and available 7 days a week—morning, afternoon, and evening! Whether it’s walks, feedings, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m here when you need me. Your pets’ routines are my top priority, and I’ll gladly adjust to their needs and your schedule. Just let me know what works best for you! Your pet’s safety and comfort come first! I provide a calm, loving environment where your fur baby will feel secure and cared for. I always follow your instructions closely, and I’m happy to send updates for peace of mind. About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

“My husband and I met Alisha in October for a meet and greet with Milo, our mixed yellow lab and golden retriever. The meeting was for an upcoming trip during the Christmas holidays. We instantly liked her, she was on time when she came, she was professional, she bonded right away with Milo. Soon after I booked a three day walk in November just to reconnect again with her. It was for a 30 minute walk and again she was on time and I love the fact that I get a text and a pic of the walk. Tomorrow will be the start of a 13 day house sitting and we feel confident about the whole thing knowing that Milo will not be neglected. We’re glad we came across her at Rover. About: I've grown up around animals on a small family farm with sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. Animals have always been a priority in my life. I currently have cats, chickens and goats and I hate to admit it but I will always want more! Caring for pets both that are mine and others has been part of my life since I can remember. From helping birth lambs or caring for mamma cats in labor I've done close to it all when it comes to animal care. Animal behavior has become an interest in the last 8-10 years and I have worked to learn more about training and behaviors as it helps with their individualized needs. Making sure that your animals are not only comfortable but happy and safe while your away is my main goal. Pet care for my animals happens daily. I wake up and am set into the potty and feed schedule not only for my indoor animals but for my outdoor livestock pets as well. Animal care has been subconscious since a young age. About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. I am an animal lover who has to pet any dog or cat I see and have a genuine interest in caring for and loving your special furry friend 🐾 I am currently in-between jobs as I am studying for my LSAT for law school so my schedule is very flexible right now! I have a car and am able to drive so that is not a problem. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very aware that I am a guest in the home and act accordingly. These days, privacy is important and I pride myself on protecting that for the client in addition to caring for the pet(s). About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and I love them oh so dearly! I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I’m not much of a cat person, I didn’t grow up with cats but I can do what is needed of me. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of. I will care for your baby in your own home where they have all their favorite toys and comfort spots. I will take them for walks and give them all the snuggles they need!
