“My dog, Lola, stayed with Jessica for 17 days through the holidays. She's a bit of an anxious dog, has spotty social skills, and super spoiled, so I was nervous about leaving her so long. We did a meet and greet first, and I was impressed with Jessica's calm demeanor and confident handling of the dogs in her care. Plus, Jessica has a huge fenced-in yard for the dogs to play in, so I knew Lola would love romping around off-leash there. Lola had a great time, and was able to make a few new friends during her stay, even improving her social skills around other dogs! About: My fiancé and I are a pet-sitting power duo! We are both experienced pet sitters and have been doing this for many years. For as long as I can remember, I have loved animals. I truly believe that a pet is apart of the family and should be treated as such. When sitting dogs I am willing to take extra time and put in the effort to make sure they are fed, exercised, hydrated, and loved as they would be with their family. Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!

About: I've had animals all my life but now I am an empty nester and would love to help take care of yours. I have raised Rottweilers, trained and shown horses, had chickens and cared for cats. I work full time at home! My job is flexible and allows for play time, potty breaks and lunch time walks! I have a large fenced backyard where your pup is free to play, explore and potty! I have two additional fur babies who will keep your pup company! Your pup will likely spend most of the day with me inside, in my office. I give my pups space to roam the house if they want, but they generally sleep on the couch behind me. I am also able to crate your pup if that's what they're used to or comfortable with. I am flexible to your needs!
About: I’ve grown up taking care of my family dogs. From raising multiple puppies to taking care of sick dogs. I am a reliable person and will make sure all your needs are met. I’m a huge animal lover so any pet you have I will love! I’ve raised a kitten in the last year, making sure that he is well loved and cared for. I do school work online so i’m constantly home and have a very flexible schedule to do any pet care! I would love to get more exercise as well so this would be so fun for me! I don’t currently work so I don’t have a job to keep me busy. My cats are kept inside for safety with lots of toys and furniture to keep them busy. I enjoy playing with animals and I’m aware of animals body language so if I need to go slow with an animal I know when to do so
About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!
