Their house was very warm and inviting and they really took to him. They were very thorough with all of their questions and made sure that they were equipped to take good care of him. During the trip they gave us constant updates and photos and we felt very safe that he was in good hands. when we went to go pick him up, he did not seem that enthusiastic to leave, which was both sad but also a great sign of how much fun he was having there. We cannot watch cats in our home, but are happy to do drop in visits in your home to play with and care for them. We do accept dogs in our home for care. We have a fenced in backyard for lots of playtime, and fields and parks nearby for longer walks and play. We currently have two cats, so your dog must do well with cats to stay in our home. We can also do daily or multi daily check ins on pets in your home (sorry, no housesitting/staying over in your home). We will play with them, cuddle with them, feed/water, clean litter boxes and make sure they are happy and safe in the comfort of their own home. Whether our home or yours, you can trust that your fur babies will be happy and safe in our care while you are away.

“Thanks Roxanne you were always calm, flexible and easy to work with. I would not recommend for smaller dogs. Our pup went 2 days and came back both days a bit overwhelmed, exhausted and especially on day 2 he was stinky and scratched up. As a one year old he may not have been able to hold his own with the larger older dogs. It seems to be a great place for larger dogs, but even my 80lb Ridgeback was overwhelmed and may have been out muscled. He tends to play hard and get clumsy. Will certainly consider in the future for booking.”

They have such a wonderful dynamic with their intelligent, energetic dogs, and it melts my heart to see Clara be welcomed into their pack. Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! It is so special to see my little dog and other new friends in daycare all confidently playing together. Every daycare dog she's met with them has been an immediate friend--not always what you expect with a chihuahua away from mom and home--and that speaks to how thoughtfully Susan and Ian manage the group. They have a real gift for understanding different dogs so that they feel comfortable, safe, and included. I trust them completely with Clara and couldn't recommend them more highly.”
About: I’ve had a dog my whole life (Fritz and Sam, Buffy the vampire slayer and most recently Bella). We have enjoyed dog sitting since our last pup Bella passed in March 2022. I have recently changed my hours to part time at work, allowing more time to reactivate my rover account to meet new pups. I currently work part time, mostly from home. About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. I provide frequent potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, and can accommodate crate-trained dogs with an extra-large crate if needed. When caring for pets in your home, I believe you know your dog best. I'll follow your routines, preferences, and instructions closely to help keep your pup comfortable, happy, and stress-free while you're away. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for—so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.
About: I'm a positive reinforcement–based dog trainer. If you're working on training with your dog, I'm happy to reinforce those skills while you're away to help maintain the progress you've made. I'm comfortable with dogs of all ages, as well as dogs that may need a little extra patience or understanding. Every dog is different, and I think their care should reflect that. I'll tailor each visit to your dog's personality, routine, and needs. I have a flexible daytime schedule, which makes it easy to fit in walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I'm usually able to accommodate a variety of times for either one-time visits or something more regular. My goal is to stick to your dog's normal schedule and routines as closely as possible. Just let me know what that looks like, and I'll make it happen. When I'm in your home, I follow the Scout motto: "Leave it better than you found it." I'll treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want someone to show mine.

About: I have grown up my entire life with all kinds of pets including cats, dogs, gerbils, fish, horses, and more and have always genuinely loved caring for animals. I especially have a soft spot for cats and dogs and I can't wait to meet your pets! When walking dogs I will be sure to take your pet on safe, engaging routes for them so they can get plenty of exercise. I will be sure to give them plenty of extra love and attention as well! I have many years of house and pet sitting experience and will take the time to follow all your specific directions. Whether its extra clean up around your home, specific pet bedtime routines, (I personally love giving my cat, Schmendrick special bedtime treats!) or anything else pertaining to excellent care for your home and pets, I am happy to provide it! I love taking pictures of animals and will take the time to send photos and frequent updates on how their doing while on our walks or while you're away. I understand and believe that all pets are family and I will absolutely treat yours as such!
