“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. Our pup went 2 days and came back both days a bit overwhelmed, exhausted and especially on day 2 he was stinky and scratched up. As a one year old he may not have been able to hold his own with the larger older dogs. It seems to be a great place for larger dogs, but even my 80lb Ridgeback was overwhelmed and may have been out muscled. He tends to play hard and get clumsy. Will certainly consider in the future for booking.”

I walk my own dog three times a day (yes, we’re that kind of household), and I genuinely can’t wait to add your pup to the routine! I’m fully that girl who has to stop and say hi to every cute dog I pass—and by the end of it, we’re best friends. So just know: your dog is not getting casual care… they’re getting full-on obsession. Your doggo will get plenty of walks, love, cuddles, attention, and playtime from me and my sweet girl Sparrow. Think of it as a little vacation where they’re the main character 💁♀️ Can’t wait to meet your pup and become their new favorite human (besides you of course!) I work 8-5p M-F but work from home 3 days a week and have availability to walk early mornings, evenings, and during my lunch breaks! My weekends are typically very free and are usually filled with park visits and walks! I treat other dogs just like they are my own, and my girl is treated like an absolute queen! I make sure doors are securely closed, that anything potentially harmful is stored away, and always take weather into consideration when walking (if it’s over 80 degrees out, I will provide boots to ensure that pups don’t get their paws burned!) I make sure to bring water and poop bags and will always communicate if something seems off.

I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!

I am usually able to change my schedule howevers needed to accommodate you! I have no yard, but I happily walk my dogs 4 times a day, sometimes 6 depending on their needs or your dog's needs. About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have three dogs. I am very active and can take your dog for a walk or run. I can also train your dog to do simple commands (sit, stay, lay down, come) - extra fee. I take walks/runs everyday (morning, afternoon, or night). I would be happy to take your pet on a walk with me. I can do short or long walks with your dog. I am willing to walk or run your dog on leash to get the exercise they need on a weekly or daily basis ! !

“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them.
