About: TLDR - I have experience with many types of pets with varying needs. I have two kids (ages 12 and 14) and many other creatures in the home. I am available for drops ins and walks, but longer term engagements would have to be at my home. I have a fully fenced yard and can welcome a dog to come stay in my home. Having grown up with dogs and cats, I am passionate about good animals care and will totally fangirl over your critter. I have previous obedience training experience and have taken three dogs to state for obedience competition. I have house trained many puppies, so I'm happy to support an owner in the trenches of the puppy years. I am available for weekend visits and walks every day. Over the years, I have cared for dogs and cats with varying medical and behavioral needs. From cats needing injections to highly reactive dogs neesing a calm presence, I have expertly cared for them all. I have two daughters, aged 12 and 14, who have lived their life around pets of all sorts and love to come with me when I am visiting a dog or cat. If you are not comfortable having them in your home, or your pet is not comfortable with kids, that is totally understandable. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible to allow to fit pet care into my schedule. I have a car so I am able to travel outside of my immediate neighborhood for pet care or house sitting. In my own home I have a fully fenced yard and space to run around. When I am out of the home I kennel my own dog, who has anxiety and that helps her feel more secure. My cats enjoy a fully enclosed catio in the back yard. I am cery careful to have dogs fully leashed before heading out the door to prevent any running into the street. About: I've grown up around Labradors my whole life. Right now I have a yellow lab named Jasmine. She's a very high energy 10 year old dog. She's not the type of lab who likes to play fetch or even go into water. Which I feel is quite odd. The funny thing about Jasmine, she sounds like a monkey at times when she wants to come in the house. A little about me- I love being out in nature. My favorite place to walk is the beautiful Sherwood parks. I feel dog walking could be a lot of fun on my off season of my main job which is school photography. I've worked as a school photographer for 22 years. So I have a lot of patience with kids and feel I could take on any kind of dog. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and I love them oh so dearly! I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I’m not much of a cat person, I didn’t grow up with cats but I can do what is needed of me. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of. I will care for your baby in your own home where they have all their favorite toys and comfort spots. I will take them for walks and give them all the snuggles they need!
About: I've had animals all my life but now I am an empty nester and would love to help take care of yours. I have raised Rottweilers, trained and shown horses, had chickens and cared for cats. I also used to be a veterinary receptionist/assistant and so have a lot of on-the-job medical training. Attention to detail is key. About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!
About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!
