About: I grew up in a family with 6 or more animals all the time. Life would be so boring without animals! I also grew up on a farm with horses, donkeys, and chickens. I love all animals and would love to meet yours! I work a 9-5 but I make sure to dedicate lots of time for my animals (and yours!) I’m flexible with my time as well. I live right next to Forsyth park and a square downtown. I have lots of areas to let yours and my animals roam and get some outside time!
About: I’ve cared for many animals since a young age through family, and the helping of friends and neighbors. I’ve also handled a variety of dogs breeds and sizes as a dog washer / groomer. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings and would love a way to interact with animals and stay active during the daytime and my days off! About: I have owned 2 dogs, one that was a bigger rescue dog and that delt with arthritis and a few other health issues. Then currently I have a 1 year old mini dachshund who is fully of life and a little hyper. I have also dog sat for many family and friends over the years. So I have experience working with many types of dogs and am comfortable around all types. When it comes to taking care of your baby, I will dedicate my time to focus on them and their needs. I love playing with dogs, bringing them for walks, if allowed I would love to bring them to a dog park for some social time, or just to get some more exercise! I have also trained my mini dachshund how to do some fun tricks like shake, roll over, spin, and weave between my legs, so if your wanting some fun tricks for your dog I can definitely show/train your dog how to do some! I am usually pretty open after 10:30am Mon-Thur. Then Fri-Sun I am open most of the day. I just need a few days notice so that I am not double scheduling your walk or drop in with my work schedule! Currently, I am only accepting dog walks and drop in visits in your home. I prefer a meet and greet beforehand to make sure I am the right fit for you and your baby.

“Sara is just fabulous! She took terrific care of our home and most importantly our kitties while we were on an extended trip. It was the first time we had been away from the beasties for more than a week and we were really concerned about going. After interviewing a few people, Sara came out on top and we are 100 percent convinced we made the right choice. She gave daily detailed updates and extra photos. And best of all the kitties (who are super shy) actually warmed up to her! She followed instructions to the letter but also went above and beyond. We came home to an immaculate house and happy kitties! The above and beyond part, she deep cleaned the entire cat box and kitty water fountain as well as their eating area. Our mail was stacked neatly and the trash bins were brought out and in. I’ll mention as well, I’m extra sensitive to smells and go to excessive lengths to make sure the cat box never smells like pee. I don’t expect perfection upon arrival home in regard to this as I know how particular I am but Sara nailed it! All was clean and tidy and no lingering odor. We will definitely be booking Sara (if we can get her) in the future.”

Sage was wonderful! I think one of my cats became best friends with her with how much she got to play and exercise with Sage! She takes amazing photos, communicates well and was very engaging with all the kitties. She made it as easy as possible to be away from the fur babies!

We came to vacation in Nags Head and needed a sitter for our young (and recently adopted) dog while we went to dinner. Meagan did a great job keeping her calm, took her out a few times and got her to eat (which we had also been struggling with). Would book again!
