I am a caregiver at heart, and as a yoga instructor, nanny, and lifelong pet owner, the most important thing to me is to offer you and your beloved pets the best possible experience - whether you're out of town, working a long shift at work, or simply need some extra help in your busy household. It is always my goal to offer the same loving care and attention as you do - keeping their normal routine in place, as well as giving some extra snuggles to keep separation anxiety to a minimum - so I will work closely with you re: personality, habits, feeding, favorite chairs, toys, and medical care. I am detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible but extremely warm and open-hearted, and will treat your furry family members like my own. Peace of mind is part of my service-oriented and animal-loving nature! I have been caring for others' pets and homes for 20 years and fully understand the desire to find not only excellent pet care from a loving human, but a dependable, mature, and honorable person to care for and protect your home as well. HOUSE-SITTING: I have extensive experience with short- and long-term house/pet sitting and feel comfortable and confident with house alarm systems, door codes, away-lighting, and house maintenance. I am calm and efficient in emergency situations, should any arise, and will adhere to any particular protocol you have in place. You will find your home in the same (or better!) condition than when you left, and your furry family members will be happy, relaxed, and loved during your absence. I also send several almost-daily photos of your fur-babies to you throughout your absence so you can see in real-time how they are faring! 🏡📸 DROP-IN VISITS: For all my dog-moms and dads, my goal is give them a vigorous and fun walk through the neighborhood, making sure to visit their favorite spots and trees; lots of belly rubs, scratches, hugs, and cuddles; fresh water and treats (if allowed!); and lots of play, catch, and chase. 🐕🎾 For my kitty-moms and dads, I am a cat whisperer! I know how to vary my interactions based on your kitty's personality. Whether they are shy, don't like to be held or pet, or even on the anti-social side, they will still get the best care - and you might be surprised how I may be able to coax them out their shell a bit! For the can't-get-enough-lovin' kitties, I love engaging them with their favorite toys, and offering up a lap (or shoulder or head) for some connection, scratches, petting, and purr-time. Of course, feeding, fresh water, treats (if allowed!), and litter box cleaning are always on the menu regardless of personality! 🐈⬛🧶 I have experience with head cones, wound-care, stitch-care, eye drops, oral meds, topical meds, and even treat-hidden meds! I have a grounded, warm, playful, and peaceful demeanor and personality, and most animals are naturally drawn to me, but I also respect each individual animal's personality, temper, and space, and understand how to earn trust from them. 💊🤕

Sara was literally the most incredible sitter we’ve had yet. She not only loved our boys endlessly, she sent daily photos and cleaned up after the dogs after a weeks stay. She is highly communicative!
Sara is very responsive, was on time and made sure we know how our fur babies are. This was our first walk with Sara and then looking forward to her pet sitting in the coming weeks for us. Will be using her as often as possible!

I have been caring for animals since I was 7 and picked my first kitten from my neighbor's cat's litter. Frisky lived for 25 years! Since then I have always had at least one cat in my life and have always adopted. My most beloved black cat Boo, whom I adopted from a shelter in Maine, lived for 21 years - he was my constant companion, a travel pro, and my whole heart. I lost him in 2015. Since then, I rescued 7-week old Luna (aka monkey-monk) from the streets of Savannah, and rescued 3-year old Rumi (aka goosey-goose), an owner-surrender in Savannah. They are like brothers-from-another-mother, never apart from each other. They rescued me from deep heartache. Most of the people I pet/house sit for have both dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds. I specialize in both short- and long-term home stays. I have even been known to travel 6 hours to pet/house sit for a long-time client! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to invest fully in your beloved pets. I also limit my bookings to ensure I can provide quality care and attention to my furry clients, and simultaneously make sure I'm not stretched too thin so I can be consistently available for you and your pet's needs! 💜
