About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. While my current work schedule doesn’t allow me to have a dog of my own right now, I still have plenty of time, energy, and love to give. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I work as an ER nurse 3–4 days a week, which gives me several flexible days off to dedicate to caring for pets. On my off days, I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so I can confirm my schedule and make sure I give your pup the time and attention they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and the specific service requested. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine — including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of affection. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. If caring for a pet in my home, I provide a clean, calm, and safe space with plenty of supervision, exercise, and attention. I follow your instructions closely to keep routines consistent and stress-free. Communication is very important to me, so I always provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Bianca saved the day. I needed a sitter at the last minute. She swooped in and did a wonderful job. I will definitely hire her again. My dogs were so much happier when we got home compare to how upset they tend to appear when I pick them up from Kennel.”
“Cassandra was fabulous with our little pup! She was kind, responsive, and took great pictures and submitted fabulous updates! We look forward to having her as our go to sitter and would highly recommend her!”

“Whitney is our Goto dog care person. She is easy to work with. She has hosted Smitty for several days when we anre out of town and she has walked him when we are out of the house for a long stretch of the day. She communicates well and most importantly our dog Smitty loves to hang out with her! Thanks Whitney!”

“Jaden helped me out last minute and it was genuinely such a lifesaver. She also was super understanding of my changing schedule and long hours. My pup was always excited to see her and got some good walks with Jaden.”

“My first pet sitter in the Savannah Area and I’m so lucky to have found her!! Lola absolutely adores her and she was so thorough with her notes. Will definitely be rebooking :)”

“We are so pleased with Arden. She met us for a meet and greet first and Mia loved her ! It was love at first sight. Mia loves the tv on and Arden even made sure it was on during our time away . She went above and beyond for our sweet girl . I felt so comfortable having her care for Mia and I have never left her before this. We look forward to having Arden again for our next time away ! Thank you Arden !!!!”

About: I’ve cared for many animals since a young age through family, and the helping of friends and neighbors. I’ve also handled a variety of dogs breeds and sizes as a dog washer / groomer. I’m currently working part-time in the evenings and would love a way to interact with animals and stay active during the daytime and my days off! In my own home I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Walking and / taking the dogs outside, feeding them, and playing and providing love and affection. As well as with my cats, playing with them, feeding them, and taking care of litter boxes. As would be the same for any of my clients, I make sure dogs have great walks, go to the bathroom, and stay hydrated.
About: My first ever pup was given to me at 3 and until I really understood what it is to take care of a pup, I have been taking care of mainly dogs from family and friends. Although I am not majoring with animals, taking care pets have always been a part of my life and I’m always happy to meet new friends along the way! Family, friends, and many coworkers of mine have all relied on me to walk and give comfort to their pets whenever they are away for the moment and I’m glad to be of reliable service! As a pet owner of 3 rescue dogs, I understand the importance of a routine, making sure to follow directions as they are told, giving comfort, and discipline to assure your pet is in good hands and is acknowledged! And not to worry with asking for pictures, I will bombard my gallery with hundreds of pictures just for you! Because I am free from school and my part-time, I am currently available any day of the week from 12pm-8pm! My schedule is very flexible and I am willing to be of assist at any time for your pups! I can provide any services needed! I live next door to a walking park and I can walk them where it is safe and open for your pets to roam around.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. With 15+ years of experience caring for large dogs, as well as fostering cats and dogs, I am comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I've helped care for newborn kittens, supported animals through surgical recovery, and worked with pets who need extra patience and attention. As a graduate student in Applied Behavior Analysis, I enjoy incorporating gentle, positive reinforcement strategies to support training and good behavior when requested. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in capable hands. I’m currently working towards my masters in applied behavior analysis at Georgia Southern University Armstrong campus, where I will begin classes in the fall, around mid August. I do not currently have any pets in my home, which allows me to provide a calm environment and focus my attention entirely on your pet. If your pet stays in my home, I am happy to maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, bedtime routines, and any training practices you would like continued. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to keep their routine consistent and provide plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I believe pets are most comfortable when their daily schedule remains familiar, so I work closely with owners to understand their pet's specific needs and preferences. Regular updates and photos are always provided so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for

About: Caring for animals has never felt like a job to me—it’s something I’ve been passionate about my entire life. Growing up surrounded by pets taught me that every animal has a unique personality, and I love taking the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Before joining Rover at the beginning of 2026, I built experience pet sitting through ........, caring for various breeds and species. I am fully insured through PCI for added peace of mind. I believe professionalism is just as important as compassion, so you can count on reliable communication, dependable care, and respect for both your home and your pets. I have over six years of experience caring for large-breed dogs (the energetic ones have a special place in my heart!), as well as cats, birds, and aquatic pets. I’m experienced in administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with special medical needs. Whether your pet needs an adventurous walking buddy, a calm and patient companion, or someone who can confidently handle a detailed care routine, I’m happy to provide the same level of attention and love I’d want for my own pets. My goal isn’t just to “check in” on your pet—it’s to build a relationship with them so they look forward to seeing me every time you need a sitter. I’m working full-time at the moment, but am super flexible with scheduling! I can make visits before and/or after work, provided it aligns with your schedule. Unfortunately, at this time I am only taking repeat/recurring visits on Mondays. For requests not listed under my availability, please message me as I may have flexibility to make appointments! I’m located in Midtown Savannah and am happy to travel anywhere in the Savannah/Pooler area! I know leaving your pets can be tough, so I make it a priority to keep you updated with lots of photos and clear communication while you’re away. I treat every home with respect and always do my best to leave it just as I found it—so you can come home to a clean house and, most importantly, happy, loved pets. 🐾
About: I have 2 dogs back home in Oklahoma and I miss them! It would fill my heart with joy to be able to spend time with some puppies. I will have to work around classes but my availability is Mondays 2-5, Tuesdays 11-1, Wednesdays 2-6, and I’m free during the day Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When looking after my dogs at home I would always stay in the same room with them to make sure they didn’t steal from the pantry and let them outside when they needed!
About: I’ve had 4 dogs in my life so far! The first one, Buck, was my childhood baby, he lived to be 15! Then the other three, Roux, Jax and Boone, I’ve helped raise since they were 8 weeks old! I’m currently a recent SCAD graduate working a part time job this summer that never keeps me later than 6pm. I would love to add to my day a little more with a few furry friends :) I love hanging out with dogs, whether that be cuddling or chilling in the same room. Being away from my pups in Dallas, I miss having a furry companion with me. I love as much quality time as I can get with pets!
About: Since the day I was born, I have lived with a dog, and I have also owned cats for more than half of my life. I have an abundance of love for animals and have even assisted in the birth of puppies. I have rescued countless cats and will continue to do so if the opportunity is presented. I have loved animals all of my life and will never cease to do so. I would be delighted to look after your pet! Post Grad student, working part time right now! My schedule varies so feel free to ask questions before booking! My work during the mornings/day so I am almost always free after 4 if not all day! I have an orange kitty named Whiskey, I rescued him in high school and have helped through multiple heath issues and he is now happy, healthy and thriving! I love animals so much, always had a pet growing up and cannot imagine a word without them!
About: I grew up surrounded by all different types of pets. Having had mostly rescue animals, I have plenty of experience dealing with pets who may be slow to open up due to their pasts. I’ve learned how to problem-solve in emergency situations, practice patience with pets who may not be fully trained, and take care of sick animals who may require medicine administration. I am a part time student, but during June through August, I will be available most days and times! In the fall I will update my availability. I’m familiar using lots of animal equipment such as crates, puppy gates, etc. I’m a very thorough direction follower and will be sure to treat your space and pets with the respect they deserve!

Susan was wonderful with my fur baby, Ezio & he absolutely loved her. No matter when I would contact her, she responded immediately. She updated me on their walk & sent adorable pictures. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Savannah. On Rover:
- 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
