About: While I have four cats, I regularly pet sit for friends' doggos. I love walking (or running if that's something your dog enjoys), and I have experience with pets that need extra care (medication, vet visits, etc). I'm an amateur photographer, so I'll always provide Insta-ready photo updates on your pets. I am a remote worker with flexible hours, so I'm able to accommodate most schedules. I can provide overnight care for pets, but I may need to stop by and visit my own kitties for multi-day requests. I'll bring toys and treats if requested, and I'll provide plenty of playtime for your pets. My car is pet-friendly, so trips to local parks (Forsyth, Daffin, Lake Mayer) are always on the table.
“My first pet sitter in the Savannah Area and I’m so lucky to have found her!! Lola absolutely adores her and she was so thorough with her notes. Will definitely be rebooking :)”

About: I've had five dogs over the course of my lifetime, purebreds and mutts, large and small. I have strong knowledge of a dog's body language and vocalizations. I have experience driving with dogs in the car. I've even taken care of some more unconventional animals, like lizards. My schedule is flexible. I can work almost any day except Sunday from 11 to 3. I am willing to stay overnight if needed, including long weekends and holidays. I care for pets by giving them lots of attention and praise. I listen carefully and observe their behavior so I can tell just what tell just what they want. I love taking dogs for walks, especially in areas with lots of nature. I will bring treats and poop bags if required. I will be respectful of your home while I'm in it. If a certain area is off limits for me or the dog, just let me know.
“Cassandra was fabulous with our little pup! She was kind, responsive, and took great pictures and submitted fabulous updates! We look forward to having her as our go to sitter and would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had animals in my home since I was a child and I’ve always loved being around them. My 4yo Finn is the most gentle giant you could ever meet. He’s basically a nursery dog and gets along with every new friend he meets! My 3yo Lily is my little princess and she loves when new friends love her. She always goes belly up to show she’ll be a best friend for life and will always make your pet feel comfortable first. 🥰 I’m very patient and always loving. I give them my time and undivided attention. Your animals will be showered in love and (with permission) all natural treats that won’t hurt the tummy! I like to spend a lot of time outdoors with my dogs playing fetch and tug so your pups are sure to get their legs stretched! No lazy dogs here!! Lazy dogs are accepted and equally loved and cared for. ❤️ My schedule is constantly changing but it’s very flexible so I put full availability on my calendar. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me! My first priority is always the animals! I have a fenced in backyard for visits and stays at my house. Plenty of space to play. Animals are allowed on furniture. Anywhere as long as they’re comfy and safe. And I follow directions 100% whenever it comes to house-sitting. Some leave detailed instructions, others give verbal instructions. I just like to make sure the pet owner is completely happy and I like to treat their pet as they would be treated any other day in their life. In complete comfort and happiness. 🥰
“Blanca made my first time using Rover a wonderful experience. My dog loved her from the start and getting her updates took all my fears away. I highly recommend her to look after your fur child!”

About: I am currently a student in Savannah and I have been around dogs since I was born. Being away from home I miss my own dog and would love to spend time with yours. I am comfortable around dogs of any size and I have been dog sitting and taking care of our family dog for almost ten years. I am currently working from home so I am free whenever because I make my own hours. If I am available for some reason I will be sure to let you know. When taking care of a pet in my clients home I will follow all the rules they state. I will play with the dog in your fenced in backyard or take the dog to the park to run around.
About: I believe our fur babies are like our children and they need some love and attention too. I am the oldest of my siblings. I would take care of our black lab named Troy and my siblings making sure all were fed and taken care of since I was 11 . Ive also helped watch and take care of other friends pets dogs and cats alike. So I am here to take a little stress off your life and give your fur babies some comapny and love while you are away. I’ve also worked with trained and untrained animals. I am a student while also working a job full time mainly on weekends.Times may fluctuate but available will be up to date. Ask to see if time is available. I care for all pets dogs and cat’s depending on the need of the owner. I would love to play with them and give them some company. As well as feed and water or cleaning up any mess or litter boxes if needed. If there are any treats that they love I can provide those as well as an update with photos and videos during the visit.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. With 15+ years of experience caring for large dogs, as well as fostering cats and dogs, I am comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I've helped care for newborn kittens, supported animals through surgical recovery, and worked with pets who need extra patience and attention. As a graduate student in Applied Behavior Analysis, I enjoy incorporating gentle, positive reinforcement strategies to support training and good behavior when requested. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in capable hands. I’m currently working towards my masters in applied behavior analysis at Georgia Southern University Armstrong campus, where I will begin classes in the fall, around mid August. I do not currently have any pets in my home, which allows me to provide a calm environment and focus my attention entirely on your pet. If your pet stays in my home, I am happy to maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, bedtime routines, and any training practices you would like continued. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to keep their routine consistent and provide plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I believe pets are most comfortable when their daily schedule remains familiar, so I work closely with owners to understand their pet's specific needs and preferences. Regular updates and photos are always provided so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been surrounded by a plethora of different animals, from dogs and cats to rodents to even a few birds! I have a special space in my heart for creatures big and small and can ensure that I’ll give your pet (or pets) as much love as you would give if you were there beside them. Under my care, your pets become my family and I promise to give them nothing but the best! I’m currently working a summer job that has alternating on-days. Thus, my schedule would be open for all Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for this summer, up until August where I have to go back home. However, I’ll be returning later that month to resume pet care alongside my collegiate studies and will be sure to update my schedule accordingly. Due to my current status as an on-campus employee, I will unfortunately be unable to house any of your fur babies. However, I will make sure to travel my way to your home to ensure they’re properly taken care of!!
“Whitney is amazing! She always takes extra time to make Leo feel extra loved while we’re not home. She checks in with her plans, is always on time and sends extremely cute pics.”
About: I have taken care of baby and senior animals. everything in between! my friends and family regularly ask me to stay the night or simply walk and feed, and I am always happy to do so. regularly changing her litter box and water, and cleaning her food and water station. I love taking care of my kitty every day. I love her! keeping certain plants/food/objects away, and doors closed; always making the environment stimulating as well as comfortable. She loves her cat-tree, toys, treats, and window-watching. She especially loves a heated blanket:)

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. While my current work schedule doesn’t allow me to have a dog of my own right now, I still have plenty of time, energy, and love to give. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I work as an ER nurse 3–4 days a week, which gives me several flexible days off to dedicate to caring for pets. On my off days, I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so I can confirm my schedule and make sure I give your pup the time and attention they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and the specific service requested. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine — including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of affection. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. If caring for a pet in my home, I provide a clean, calm, and safe space with plenty of supervision, exercise, and attention. I follow your instructions closely to keep routines consistent and stress-free. Communication is very important to me, so I always provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: I have had numerous cats and watched numerous puppies so I know how to treat them accordingly. I also know how to care and bath for them. I am going to college to become a zoologist so this will be a dream job for me! I am currently working part-time, so I have extra time to walk/tend to your precious pet! I am near the downtown area, so I have no problem walking in nearby neighborhoods. I follow whatever the client prefers, and provide gentle care for the pet. I also observe the pets behaviors and emotions and respect and act in accordance to them. I'm open to cleaning them/ or behind them, walking them, feeding them, and caring for them.
“Emma is very responsive and personable. She helped me out when I was out of town and my husband was at work by giving Lulu a potty break and some company. I’m using her again tonight.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
