I’ve had large dogs, small dogs and pets of every kind since a very young age. I grew up with hunting dogs and large dogs and have adopted small dogs over the years. Animals are definitely a passion of mine and I’ve enjoyed raising them and helping friends and family raise them as well. I’ve had experience working with/adopting dogs through the K9 for Warriors program. There’s no animal too big or too small that I wouldn’t love and care for!

I currently have a big black lab and small Pomeranian that love socializing with other dogs. I live in a home with a fenced in backyard that allows convenience for all pets. Caring for my animals in a suburban area keeps all of us healthy and active! If your animal(s) love other animals I’m more than happy to host! Otherwise I’m dedicated to respecting your home and your pets need!

Shelby is an amazing pet and home sitter! She recently watched my place and my incredibly shy cats, and the experience was flawless. Shelby went above and beyond to make sure my cats felt safe and secure, and her communication throughout the entire stay was fantastic. Shelby was a fabulous house and pet sitter.. My dog instantly loved her, and she was great at keeping me updated on things. I’m so glad to find her and can’t wait to use her again.

It took me a while to decide who I should let take care of my 3 cats while I was away last week, but I am SO happy I decided on Shelby! I was a little nervous leaving my babies alone for the first time in my new apartment, but Shelby’s drop-in visits gave me just the peace of mind I needed. She not only made sure my cats were safe, happy, and fed, she also kept me updated every day with pictures and messages so I knew what was going on. She even went above & beyond and bought cat litter for me when I ran out and took the garbage out in my apartment. Overall, I couldn’t be happier. My babies got the love and care they deserved and I felt so much better knowing they weren’t alone. I’ll absolutely be using Shelby again if I ever have to leave them in the future!

Schedule
I’m currently working 4 nights a week at a restaurant which allows me to have a lot of free time available during the day as well as late nights. I’d be more than happy to take time off to accommodate your schedule with a one to two week notice.
