About: Hi, I’m Toccara! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve cared for pets of all kinds like dogs, cats, birds, bunnies. I have officially been pet sitting since I was 16 and have also been working at a dog daycare for the past four months, where gained lots of experience with pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am currently working part-time at my job. On days that I am off from work I usually have a very open schedule past 10am and can always make discussion on what you prefer!! When caring for pets in my home I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their usual routines with feeding, walks, and playtime, and I pay attention to their individual needs and personalities. I treat every dog like they’re my own, giving them plenty of affection and care. I am gentle, patient, and attentive and have especially learned these things from working with dogs. and would never do anything to harm an animal. Working at a dog daycare also helped me learn about different sickness and what to look out for dogs when something isn’t right or if they need medical attention.

“Parker loves his walks with Shelby, she is so patient with all his sniffing and squirrel hunting lol. I’m so happy we found her, and am grateful she was available to start on short notice. We are definitely going to make this a regular thing going forward ❤️”

“My first pet sitter in the Savannah Area and I’m so lucky to have found her!! Lola absolutely adores her and she was so thorough with her notes. Will definitely be rebooking :)”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, from medium to large, and lived with and cared for cats for many years. Animal care is a huge passion of mine, which is why I’ve cared for pets for friends, neighbors, and family. I am able to house watch and walk dogs, and care for both elderly and young dogs and cats. I work a part time job, and have time in my weekends and weekdays to care for pets from house watching to walking. We can work out whatever fits into that schedule. I can do extra tasks needed to keep a home maintained and make sure your pets are happy and healthy. Whether that’s chores or medication, specific eating or potty times, and so on.

About: While I have four cats, I regularly pet sit for friends' doggos. I love walking (or running if that's something your dog enjoys), and I have experience with pets that need extra care (medication, vet visits, etc). I'm an amateur photographer, so I'll always provide Insta-ready photo updates on your pets. I am a remote worker with flexible hours, so I'm able to accommodate most schedules. I can provide overnight care for pets, but I may need to stop by and visit my own kitties for multi-day requests. I'll bring toys and treats if requested, and I'll provide plenty of playtime for your pets. My car is pet-friendly, so trips to local parks (Forsyth, Daffin, Lake Mayer) are always on the table.

About: I’ve had pets (mostly dogs) my whole life. I’ve also cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule and feel it would be a win-win to incorporate some interaction and movement into my days while caring for someone’s pet. I work remote so weekdays are very flexible. Early mornings and lunch time would be most available. Ideally would be caring for pets in/around the Daffin park area. I have 2 indoor cats, so I am not able to have other pets stay at my home. I am happy to take care of other pets in the client’s home.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. With 15+ years of experience caring for large dogs, as well as fostering cats and dogs, I am comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I've helped care for newborn kittens, supported animals through surgical recovery, and worked with pets who need extra patience and attention. As a graduate student in Applied Behavior Analysis, I enjoy incorporating gentle, positive reinforcement strategies to support training and good behavior when requested. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in capable hands. I’m currently working towards my masters in applied behavior analysis at Georgia Southern University Armstrong campus, where I will begin classes in the fall, around mid August. I do not currently have any pets in my home, which allows me to provide a calm environment and focus my attention entirely on your pet. If your pet stays in my home, I am happy to maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, bedtime routines, and any training practices you would like continued. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to keep their routine consistent and provide plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I believe pets are most comfortable when their daily schedule remains familiar, so I work closely with owners to understand their pet's specific needs and preferences. Regular updates and photos are always provided so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for

About: I have experience in pet care for 15+ years and currently work for a pet care company in Savannah that I used to manage for! I currently dedicate 100% of my work time to pet care!! Pet care is my full time job and I’m extremely passionate about caring for all kinds of pets!☺️ I am well acquainted with how important timing can be for babies especially those who need to go outside to potty breaks ASAP or have medication needs! I have experience pilling animals and giving injections as needed! I have worked with special needs cats before, and pride myself on befriending even the most difficult babies, though I feel they are only difficult because they need more time to trust people☺️💖
“Kaitlyn and Michael are THE BEST!!! They’re not only great with our puppy, they’re wonderful folks who are a joy to work with. Our puppy enjoyed being with Michael so much, I wasn’t sure she’d ever want to settle for us ever again. 🤪”

“Bianca saved the day. I needed a sitter at the last minute. She swooped in and did a wonderful job. I will definitely hire her again. My dogs were so much happier when we got home compare to how upset they tend to appear when I pick them up from Kennel.”
“Thank you Logan for taking Greta care of our dogs today. They were happy and worn out. I appreciate you being able to come last minute and putting up with the other dog when he escaped. We have a new plan to go out the back door next time. I appreciate you being flexible and easy. They had a great time!”
About: I'm a dog and cat mom and understand that pets are family. I’ll send pictures from our visits, playtimes, and walks so that you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I'm available for drop-in visits and walks 7 days a week. So whether you are out of town or having a long day at work you can count on me to take care of your furry friend. Please note, I do not accept drop-ins past 7pm for new clients. I will consider later visits for return clients. I treat your pets like my own. In addition to providing loving company and playtime, I'll ensure they are safe, fed, and have plenty of fresh water. I'll make sure their environment is clean and well maintained. Plus, I'll send pictures and updates from each visit.
About: Hi there! I’m Lindsay - lifelong dog lover, professional cuddler, and proud parent to one very beloved Border Terrier (and three wonderful human boys!). I grew up with dogs, and after graduating from Stanford, I spent years in California dogsitting alongside my corporate career. These days, I call Savannah home, where my partner and I both work remotely full-time, meaning your pup will have company, care, and cuddles all day long. Our home is calm, cozy, and full of dog-obsessed-love (and yes, dog decor and family photos to prove it!). We have a large fenced-in backyard perfect for fetch, zoomies, or a good sunbathing snooze. My own dog is the ultimate “velcro dog,” so I understand how important attention, snuggles, and routine are for your pup’s happiness. We use Rover ourselves when we travel, so I know firsthand how much peace of mind comes from knowing your pup is in good hands. I send frequent photo updates (because I love a good pup photoshoot!) and know how much it means to see that happy, tail-wagging face while you’re away. When your dog stays with us, they’ll be treated like family because that’s exactly how we see them ❤️ Both my partner and I work remotely full-time, so your pup will have company and attention throughout the day. In the evenings, we’re often out at our kids’ sports or activities, so there may be a short 1–2 hour stretch here or there where the dogs are home relaxing (depending on the season). Otherwise, we’re pretty much here and ready for cuddles 24/7! Your pup’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard for safe play and frequent potty breaks. Inside, dogs have free roam of our cozy, lived-in home, complete with comfy couches, soft beds, and plenty of snuggle spots. I take introductions slowly to make sure every pup feels at ease, and I closely supervise all playtime. Because my partner and I both work from home, someone’s almost always here to keep an eye (and ear!) out. You can expect regular updates and photos so you always know your furry family member is safe, happy, and loved. ❤️
“Whitney is our Goto dog care person. She is easy to work with. She has hosted Smitty for several days when we anre out of town and she has walked him when we are out of the house for a long stretch of the day. She communicates well and most importantly our dog Smitty loves to hang out with her! Thanks Whitney!”

“Jamie treated my pups with the utmost care - being the crazy dog lady that I am, having peace of mind when it comes to my pups safety, happiness and wellbeing is imperative and I recommend Jamie to anyone that needs a pet sitter! She will be my go-to anytime I need my pups walked or boarded!”

We are so pleased with Arden. She met us for a meet and greet first and Mia loved her ! It was love at first sight. Mia loves the tv on and Arden even made sure it was on during our time away . She went above and beyond for our sweet girl . I felt so comfortable having her care for Mia and I have never left her before this. We look forward to having Arden again for our next time away ! Thank you Arden !!!!

Tess was the most help with walking my dogs! She was easy to schedule a walk through with and super accomodating to schedule. She was super sweet to the dogs and took them on a long walk with great pictures! I will continue asking for her help whenever it is needed. Thanks again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
