About: I became a dog owner in 2020 when I got my first French Bulldog, Hank McCoy, and I’ve been hands-on with caring for and training my dogs ever since. I’ve personally trained all of my dogs at home, focusing mainly on basic obedience, household manners, and everyday routines. Some of the commands I’ve worked with include sit, stay, down, come here, stop, paw, move, up, no, go home, night-night, and go potty. I’m not a professional dog trainer, but I’m comfortable reinforcing the commands, boundaries, and routines your dog already knows. I understand that consistency matters, especially when a dog is staying somewhere unfamiliar. My experience as a dog owner has also taught me how important it is to pay attention to a dog’s body language, personality, comfort level, and individual habits. I try to be patient and let each dog settle in at their own pace while giving them plenty of attention, structure, playtime, walks, and affection. I treat the dogs in my care the same way I’d want someone to treat mine; with patience, attention, and genuine care. Pet care already fits naturally into my everyday routine since I have a pup of my own. Walks, potty breaks, playtime and plenty of lounging around are already part of the schedule over here! I’m flexible and intentional about making time for the dogs in my care, and I’ll always do my best to stick to your pup’s normal feeding, walking and bedtime routine. We spend most of our time upstairs, so the space has a cozy, apartment-style feel where I can keep everyone close and supervised. We also have a fenced backyard with a working garden. Because of that, outdoor time is supervised rather than just opening the door and letting everyone loose. Your pup will still get plenty of potty breaks, walks, fresh air, playtime and attention. I’m also happy to follow the boundaries you use at home; whether that means crating, certain sleeping arrangements, feeding separately, or keeping up with specific commands and routines. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable and for your dog to leave wondering when they get to come back. 😂❤️

About: I have been pet / house sitting for the past 4 years throughout college. I have provided in-home care for dogs with separation anxiety, as well as cared for multiple larger dogs at once. I can make it happen! I currently work part time so afternoons (after 1pm) are almost always available. Mornings would need a week or two notice in advance. This includes weekends as well. I currently live in a studio with my own cat. Smaller dogs are welcome but arrangements would need to be made for a larger dog.

“Our Chocolate Lab spent the day with Marston and his 2 pups while we explored Savanna. This is my first experience using Rover and it is intimidating to leave our sweet Charlie with someone we do not know. I read his reviews and was confident I was making the right decision. “Austin has been watching my 7month 5lb maltipoo for a few months and has been nothing less than AMAZING ok! an I don’t trust NOBODY with my son. Austin dog sits dogs NOT just one but multiple at a time sometime an he’s always making sure that all the dogs get along however today when I dropped him off I notice he had a larger black dog and my maltipoo was pulling to get back in my car which is strange cause he never does that. I didn’t think nothing of it but upon picking him up Austin inform me that he had to contact the big dog owners( Micah Y in the reviews) to come pick him up, for multiple reasons but the main one was because his big ass nipped at my dog . I was pissed! So before judging off of one bad review that made absolutely no since an doesn’t represent the type of sitter Austin is please take it from me he is amazing an you should definitely book him he’s very reliable an keeps me informed throughout the day to ease my mind. He even keeps him over night if I get on the road 5 stars all around the board . About: I've had a Yorkie Terrier Mix (Tico) since I was about eight years old and would consistently take care of him while home. FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING: All dogs must be up to date on their vaccines! My Frenchie, Hendrix, will be here too and I need to make sure he’s safe. About: Hi! My name is Meg and here's a little bit about my experience as a pet sitter. I have been pet sitting for friends and family since 2021, cats and dogs both. That has meant everything from the easy stuff, feeding and walks and company, to the parts people actually worry about: giving medications on schedule, keeping up with monthly preventatives, and handling the unglamorous days when a dog has an upset stomach and needs watching. I have done the 2am cleanup and the anxious pacing by the door. None of it fazes me. One sit still stands out to me. A family friend needed someone last minute to care for their two dogs, who both had colds, while they were away for a week. They were understandably worried about leaving sick dogs behind. I stayed with the pair day and night, giving every dose of medication on time and just being there with them through it. By the time their owners got home, both dogs were one step away from a full recovery. That week is a good example of what I bring to a sit: I don't just check in, I stay present until the job is actually done right. I am happy to handle whatever your pet needs: boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, drop-in visits, walks, medication, or anything else specific to your routine. Just tell me what normal looks like for them and I will hold it as close as I can while you're away. I have also fostered cats and dogs, which gave me practice with nervous animals and slow, careful introductions. My own dog Lady came to me as a foster and never left. She is 5 years old, lab mix and an easygoing host. She would be the only other pet your dog is around. I'm currently working part-time so your pet will have to be alone for 5-6 hours only 2 to 3 days a week. My working days are also quite flexible so I can work it out according to your pet's needs! Either my home or yours, I will match your baby's routine and needs. Same feeding times, walk schedules, rules around furniture and crates. In your home, I will keep to your house rules and keep the space as you expect it when you're back! My home is quiet and pet friendly, with a fenced yard, walking routes in the neighborhood and a metal crate is available if your dog prefers one. Introductions with my dog, Lady will happen slowly and on neutral ground, and I do not leave dogs unsupervised together until I know how they get along. You will get many updates and photos while your pet is with me.
