We are so pleased with Arden. She met us for a meet and greet first and Mia loved her ! It was love at first sight. Mia loves the tv on and Arden even made sure it was on during our time away . She went above and beyond for our sweet girl . I felt so comfortable having her care for Mia and I have never left her before this. We look forward to having Arden again for our next time away ! Thank you Arden !!!!

About: I’ve had animals in my home since I was a child and I’ve always loved being around them. My 4yo Finn is the most gentle giant you could ever meet. He’s basically a nursery dog and gets along with every new friend he meets! My 3yo Lily is my little princess and she loves when new friends love her. She always goes belly up to show she’ll be a best friend for life and will always make your pet feel comfortable first. 🥰 I’m very patient and always loving. I give them my time and undivided attention. Your animals will be showered in love and (with permission) all natural treats that won’t hurt the tummy! I like to spend a lot of time outdoors with my dogs playing fetch and tug so your pups are sure to get their legs stretched! No lazy dogs here!! Lazy dogs are accepted and equally loved and cared for. ❤️ My schedule is constantly changing but it’s very flexible so I put full availability on my calendar. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me! My first priority is always the animals! I have a fenced in backyard for visits and stays at my house. Plenty of space to play. Animals are allowed on furniture. Anywhere as long as they’re comfy and safe. And I follow directions 100% whenever it comes to house-sitting. Some leave detailed instructions, others give verbal instructions. I just like to make sure the pet owner is completely happy and I like to treat their pet as they would be treated any other day in their life. In complete comfort and happiness. 🥰

About: I have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves to play, prefers a quiet routine, or needs a little extra patience, I’m happy to provide attentive, reliable care. You can count on me to be punctual, communicative, and to treat your pets like they’re my own. I have a flexible schedule and can tailor my visits to meet you and your pets’ needs. Anything from brief drop in visits, feedings, to longer visits with playtime and enrichment, or even overnight stays. I got you! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, keep you updated with messages and photos, and make sure your pet stays on their usual routine as much as possible. I take my time earning each pet’s trust and believe patience, consistency, and good communication make all the difference. I’m very conscious of toxic foods, safety hazards, and how to respond if an animal becomes reactive.

About: Growing up my household was always blessed with multiple animals. Some of my best childhood memories revolved around my dogs. I had a German Shepherd, a border collie, a Rottweiler, and a couple of rescue pups. My childhood gave me an appreciation for the intelligence and love that dogs can show. I'll admit large bois hold a special place in my heart but there's room for all sizes! I currently work part-time as Coach in fitness. I teach classes early morning 5-9 and late in the evening 3-8, So I am available outside of those classes. I am generally completely available during the weekends! I am very active, I have a lots of stamina and strength to keep up with the pups! I am also very health conscious :)

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember, getting a family border collie when I was 6. I was delighted to adopt my "own" dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, when I was 13. I adored her high energy, mischievousness, and lack of attention span. Currently, I own two cats. My mother is a regular volunteer for the ASPCA, and I have often helped her in different ways to care for more animals than I can count. I have fostered animals (which is how I ended up adopting the two cats), many of which were rescues from various environments, so I have experience caring for animals with a range of issues (blindness, deafness, illnesses, medicating, etc.). I have a rather flexible work schedule that allows me to move things around as needed. That applies both to weekends and weekdays. I am also able to go to and fro as needed throughout the day. I do own two cats that are used to other random animals being around them (from fostering). They pretty much have free reign in my home as far as being on furniture goes, and the same would apply to any animal visitors. I did formally request in writing that they stay off of my kitchen counters where I'm preparing food, but they don't seem to care. I am happy to do a meet & greet along with sending picture updates as desired! My schedule's flexible and I work from home, so pet care isn't squeezed between other commitments — it's the priority. That's why I focus on house sitting: I settle into your home and stay, giving your pet steady company and keeping their feeding, walking, and medication routine right on schedule. Working in your home, my goal is to keep your pet's world unchanged — same routine, same comforts, minimal stress. I stay attentive to their habits and health, keep doors and leashes secure, and watch for anything unusual. House sitting also means I look after your home itself: mail, lights, and general security. You'll get regular photo updates so you can relax while you're away.

About: I have not done pet sitting as a job, but I am interested in doing so as some things have changed in my career life. I have had 6 cats of my own over the past 30 years, the most recent two girls both being 1 year old at adoption. They are not sisters by birth, but I think they are sisters in spirit! We are still getting to know each other and it is a lot of fun. They both love belly rubs and I am obsessed with this funny behavior. It just might be their love language! I lost Makana Kai in January 2026; there is a memorial page for her here. She came home with me from a trip to Hawaii in 2005. She was very sassy, but mellow, and loved to travel with me. We enjoyed many road trips together. I was basically her Kitty Hospice Nurse from early 2025 until she passed earlier this year. She had off and on issues with her kidneys and ultimately died at home on January 31, 2026. My heart was broken! I recently adopted two 1-year old kittens from separate shelters in Savannah. We are still learning each other and having a great time. I lost my 20 1/2 year old girl, Makana Kai, earlier this year after struggles with kidney issues in her old age. I have never done pet sitting as a job, but I am interested. I am currently in a career transition, so I am branching out to do more independent/entrepreneurial things. Because I am an animal lover, this seems like a great fit for me. I am not opting to care for others' pets in my home, but I will care for them in your home. I am committed to following specific instructions and safety protocols as provided by each pet owner and Rover.com.

I will always communicate with you and follow your guidelines along with the knowledge I have gained about keeping everyone’s babies safe! For environment I keep things very clean. About: I am currently working from home in Savannah, GA as a Medical Records Expeditor at Leidos- QTC and I LOVE dogs. I currently have 1 dog that lives with me (10 month old Beagle, Chihuahua, Jack Russel terrier mix). I just moved from NY where I had two dogs that live at my parent’s house. I can take your dog on long walks, we can go to the dog park, or we can even just play in my apartment. I will be very flexible to meet your needs and I definitely wont disappoint you or your dog. Your dogs wants and needs will always be the first priority. I have loved and cared for my dogs for my entire life and I would love the opportunity to take care of your dogs with the same love, respect, and nourishment. I currently work from home which makes it easier to care for dogs. It also makes it easier for me to keep them occupied all day! I do not have a fenced in yard. I will walk all dogs with a harness and leach outside. But when they come back inside they'll have two floors to play and run around!

About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
