I work from home, allowing for me to invest full-time attention to your pet. I also limit my clients and availability to ensure I can provide quality care and attention to my confirmed bookings 💕 This also helps me make sure I'm not stretched too thin and so that I can be consistently available for you and your pets needs! BOARDING/DAY CARE: I specialize in care for elderly dogs and at this time, do not board or offer day care services for any puppies or dogs that are not house broken. 🏡 I recently purchased a home and have a fenced in yard. I also have several cameras in the front and backyard and your dog will ALWAYS be supervised by me if outside. Additionally, the upstairs of the house is blocked off with a secured baby gate so your pet would not have to deal with stairs. I have cared for blind dogs, dogs with Sundowners, and dogs on various medications. HOUSE SITTING **PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING** My house-sitting booking option is the best way to book multiple visits over several days as it is a discounted rate from drop-in visits. A typical house sitting day looks like: ⛅ Waking up at your home, doing a short walk or potty break, feeding your pet breakfast before I leave for 4-6 hours. ☀️ I would return on my lunch break and stay at your home for the remainder of the work day. ☁️ At the end of the work day, I would do another walk (typically a longer one around one hour) before feeding your pet dinner and leaving to go to my other drop-in / walks and evening activities and returning 4-6 hours later. 🌙 Returning again before bed for another quick potty break and evening cuddles! I am available to help with hotel room and vacation pet-sitting at an hourly rate of $18.00. DROP-IN VISITS/DOG WALKS: My number one goal during my visits is to maximize every moment I am with your pet. I know that when I'm doing a drop-in visit or dog walk that they are probably going to be alone for a bit after I leave and before you return to them. I always try to incorporate some type of exercise during my visit so they are tired out and can nap before you come back. Walks are definitely my favorite form of exercise!

I have worked hard to create a calm, safe environment for pups who may need more rest and relaxation opposed to play time - although, we CERTAINLY get that in too!! 🧸⚽ I can say honestly and with 100% confidence I am able to accommodate whatever your pet needs!

I absolutely adore all breeds of dogs. Before caring for your furry friend, I'd like to know any specifics you have on feeding times and amounts, typical activities for your dog in a day, and what treats they are allowed to have! I want their visit to be as stress-free as possible and will work to keep their routine as close to their normal day and night care.
A typical day
I love to stay active on walks! You can expect lots of belly rubs and full body scratchies. I follow the training philosophies of National Geographic's "The Dog Whisperer" so I believe the best priorities for pups are 1.) exercise, 2.) discipline/leadership and 3.) affection.

Since you know them best, I rely on you to inform me of their normal routine so I can give them loving care as similarly as I can to when you're there with them. I am fully invested in providing unsurpassed care, at an affordable price for you and your fur-baby. My goal is to give you peace of mind and for you to have a reliable care-giver you can count on time and time again! I am familiar with the desire to find great pet care from a loving sitter based on my experience with my pups and would love the opportunity to provide superior attentiveness to your pet 🐾 I originally started pet-sitting for neighbors and my mom's friends while I was growing up. I have always been a huge animal lover and yearned for a dog my entire childhood. Once I moved away and had my own apartment, I rescued a Jack Russell Terrier named Sadie (in my profile picture). She passed away in January 2020 and it was a loss I thought I'd never recover from. She had many behavioral issues and I learned a lot about dog behavior from her. As a way of coping with my grief, I signed up for Rover and have been loving people's pets ever since! (I have also since then rescued another dog, a dachshund/terrier mix named Cece 😊) I also have personal experience with large dogs, as my boyfriend had a 100+ pound German Shepherd and many of my close friends have pitbulls.

Amazing! She was absolutely incredible with our chocolate Lab, Breck. He can be a little crazy, and he had just gotten out of knee surgery, so he came with a lot of special care instructions. She handled everything perfectly and made us feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care. We truly could not recommend her more!
Best cat sitter ever!
Katie is Frenchie approved!! This was my first time ever leaving my baby with someone other than friends or family, so I was super nervous. Frenchies are already high maintenance, and with the summer heat, it can be really stressful trusting someone else to watch them. Katie took such great care of him and paid attention to all the little things. She even wiped his wrinkles and put his nose balm on. It meant so much knowing she cared for him like he was her own. I can already tell he misses her! If you’re looking for someone to trust with your pup, especially a Frenchie, I can’t recommend Katie enough!!
Had to go fly back to Boston for a week. Have two indoor cats that never see anyone else but me. Soo they run when anyone comes to door. Katie did great. Sent updates, pictures of her searching for their hiding spots and trying to give them treats
